Our B& B is located at Prosto district of Piuro in a lovely mountain landscape, in an area of great history, architecture and culture, in a location with a spectacular view. "B& B Vertemate" is welcoming, with refined attention to detail.

Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to enjoy local craft products, enjoy the scenery and experience local cuisine on various food and wine tours, explore cultural events and exhibitions, stroll in the quiet, lush gardens and beautiful landscapes.
Close by our guests will find monuments and places of interest for culture vultures sports centres and gyms for keeping fit, ski slopes for snow and winter sports fans.

Nice place in Valchiavenna. Good starting point for many activities in the area. Silvia was very hospitable. Everything needed was readily available. We had a great time. All as described.

A very beautiful and peacefully located accommodation. Well signposted. We were welcomed very nicely. Breakfast was ready in the room, so we could take care of ourselves in the morning.

Perfect, very friendly and attentive landladies. Great location, within walking distance to the historic center of Chiavenna and the main attractions of the area. Starting point for beautiful hikes and mountain tours.

Spacious accommodation in a quiet, beautiful location above the village, possibility to sit in the garden. Very clean and equipped with all the necessities (fridge, coffee machine, microwave, hairdryer). Too bad that no fresh bread, fruit or cereal is offered for breakfast.

We stayed in the ground-floor studio. Comfortable, clean, well-equipped and functional, we found everything we needed. The kitchen is functional. The packaged breakfast (already indicated at the time of booking) had enough variety and included what was necessary. The bathroom with a shower is not a given. The owners were helpful and kind when they welcomed us. The areas are beautiful. We will definitely return and it will be our base for other wonderful walks.

Comfortable and very quiet stay, very helpful and friendly manager. Excellent location to visit the area. The parking inside the structure and the abundant breakfast are a plus. Absolutely recommended for spending days in the name of tranquility and enjoying the wonders of the surrounding nature. They are also very accommodating regarding the welcome of our four-legged friend.

Great location, quiet area near B&B Vertemate and a short walk to the center of Chiavenna. Comfortable structure, well maintained, clean and equipped with all comforts. Friendly and very helpful owner. If I come back, I will definitely return.

The structure is very nice, excellent location to visit the place and the surrounding areas. We stayed at this property for one night, about 2/3 km from Chiavenna in a quiet location. The parking inside the courtyard for motorcycles and cars was good. The room was new and well furnished, as was the bathroom equipped with every comfort. Unfortunately, due to Covid, breakfast was in the room with packaged and not fresh products, but I must say that the choice was wide with butter, jams, yogurt, milk, coffee, rusks, and snacks. The fridge in the room, the coffee machine, and the microwave are very convenient. I would add a fan or even better an air conditioner because it only had a small window and it was very hot. Mrs. Gina was very friendly.

Clean B&B Vertemate, excellent value for money, friendly and helpful owner, very good breakfast, good location, free parking inside the courtyard, only downside is the acoustics (in the morning you can hear the voices of those having breakfast), overall very good rating.

We were pleased with the service and kindness of Mrs. Gina. The place is in an optimal location from Chiavenna and the Acquafraggia waterfalls. During those days, we attended the Crotti festival in Chiavenna, which was very nice. I recommend the B&B Vertemate to you.
