Our B&B is in a lovely mountain landscape, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, quiet, for enjoying a stunning panorama, in the old city centre. "B&B Palazzo Salis" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a residence with unique, original style, a building of the past where the magic of history blends with modern amenities.

This B&B is a spectacular historic estate that one can only dream of living in, and having the opportunity to stay there was like a dream come true. The owner is the kindest lady, and we enjoyed our stay with our 2 young daughters as much as we did. Its location is great because it is within walking distance of everything. I loathe the day I can come stay again.

Very nice house with some need for improvement. Filling a bathtub with lukewarm water takes 20 minutes. No butter or milk for breakfast - it was better before.

We enjoyed our stay in the stylish and historic Palazzo Salis. The room is very beautiful and spacious. For breakfast in the elegant lounge, there were, among other things, fresh brioche, local cheese, yogurt, and fruit. The hostess was very welcoming. Thank you very much.

The house is really very interesting and we felt a bit like castle owners. The only issue was the low water pressure in the shower, but that's the only thing we can complain about. The hostess was very nice, spoke English. We can only recommend the accommodation.

The accommodation, including the park, we liked very much. For 1 or 2 nights it's okay, simple and plain. We deliberately booked only 2 nights to experience a castle-like feeling. It is a very beautiful old historic building. We felt very comfortable. The operators are very friendly and attentive. It was a pity that the shower had little water and was also cold. Staying at the B&B Palazzo Salis in Chiavenna is a truly special experience. The building is very central, still in the old style and only subtly renovated where necessary, allowing you to step into the Rococo era, as if you were staying in a museum. It is clean. The garden is also beautiful. We were allowed to park the car in the garden. So the stay is a beautiful experience. The hospitality is very friendly and personal, the breakfast plentiful and delicious.\nIn line with the old building, there is less comfort than in a modern hotel, for example it is quite noisy, you can hear street noise. However, it is a very special experience!

Nice experience in this eighteenth-century palace, it is definitely worth it. Our room was the one on the right that faced the pedestrian passage, so unfortunately not very quiet. Overall, considering the convenient location and the comfortable parking, we will return as soon as possible.

We stayed for only one night but we would love to stay there for a week. The B&B Palazzo Salis is beautiful and the room is a work of art. To improve, Mr. Alberto and Mrs. Graziella are extremely kind and take perfect care of the property and details. We recommend it to everyone who wants to spend a night in a real palace.
