Barbara is an amazing host! She will make you feel like you are visiting home. The place is wonderful, located on a quiet hill with an amazing view of the lake from the garden. The breakfast is delicious and homely. The host will also suggest you about the places to see and visit, trust me take it from her and you will have a wonderful time during your visit. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in this part of the country. Thank you, Barbara, for being so kind and positive! The stay was one of the highlight from the trip :)

I like this property because it is really close to the mountains, cheap with good quality. It was here all what I needed.

We can only recommend this wonderful B & B! Barbara is the best host one could ask for and makes the most delicious breakfast! We spent 2 weeks there with two kids and it never got boring. A wonderful place to stay. The house is located on the top of the hill, so you will enjoy lovely views while eating an amazing breakfast outside. The host might surprise you with freshly baked cakes and will give you many useful tips to have a great time in the surroundings.

Top B&B in a quiet location. Italian could not be more authentic. Restaurant directly included. Small village where visitors are welcomed.

Charming rustic accommodation with lovely details. Recommended restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was very rich and delicious. Just before the accommodation there is only a 1.80 meters wide passage. Best to park the car downstairs. Great location for hiking. We felt warmly welcomed by Barbara. Great holiday.

Even though the B&B was not easy to find, we were very pleasantly surprised: beautiful B&B with a great restaurant in the same building, located along a fantastic hiking trail. Our hostess was very kind and took great care of us. The breakfast was very rich and delicious! Next time we will definitely stay longer than just one night.

I stayed for two nights in this almost timeless property. The breakfast is truly unforgettable! Mrs. Barbara and her husband are very kind and welcoming. The place has a special charm. I will definitely come back. Congratulations.

Nice place for those who love tranquility, nature, professional Mrs. Barbara.

No, I did not exaggerate; impeccable cleanliness and quality/price ratio hard to beat (with the prices as they are now, 40 euros for two in a decent hostel are not enough; a bunk bed and shared facilities...). The location is unique, at the end of the village of Civate and at the beginning of the path (also well maintained, through woods and shade) that leads to the Monastery of San Pietro al Monte, a masterpiece of medieval art (and more). Civate's location in particular is ideal for touring Lake Como, but in half an hour/an hour you can also reach Bergamo Alta, Como, Monza, Milan (the railway line from Lecco is ideal here), and many other 'minor' places (in practice you can stay there for a week without getting bored). The mountains in the area are perfect for various excursions. Owners ready to solve any (remote) inconvenience. The room was practically a studio in a modern-rustic-alpine style, I felt like I was at a friend's house, in the guest room. AMAZING BREAKFAST, well-cared for, abundant, with many homemade items. Another added touch is the typical tavern (crotto, as they say around here), just below: you eat well (all seasonal, almost always typical of the place), you leave without feeling like something is missing, and the bill is ok. Note that in the room you don't hear any noise from the tavern (and at night there is absolute silence). Important note: a narrow passage in the village does not allow the passage of many current cars (at most the Panda and similar, but no more), so there are free parking spaces reserved for guests, and if needed (rain, heavy luggage) there is a shuttle ready to take you to the B&B. What can I say? I've been to many B&Bs and similar places in half of Europe/the world, and this is one of the absolute top. Thanks to Barbara and her husband, we'll meet again!

Lovely place, just what I was looking for. Large room with kitchenette, essential for us (for the picky child). Having two dogs, we were really happy to find a place that welcomed them without any problems. Possibility to do many things, walks, visit nearby villages, lake, etc. Absolutely recommended! Also 100 points for the breakfast! We will be back!

Beautiful structure, very characteristic, comfortable and well furnished. In my room there were exposed beams, a very comfortable double bed, a kitchen area with a fridge and necessary for cooking, including herbal teas, coffee. The breakfast in the (beautiful) lounge downstairs was spectacular! Everything excellent from savory to sweet. The owners are very courteous, helpful, generous with information, and of great human warmth. The atmosphere is very peaceful and familiar. I would love to go back there. Thank you!

Barbara and her daughter are very welcoming. The room is large and also has a kitchen in the room, good for long stays. Barbara's house is located in the middle of nature, you have to park the car outside the property, but not far. Barbara prepared a wonderful and plentiful breakfast, all very good. We will definitely come back in the summer.

The structure did not disappoint our expectations, breathtaking view, superb breakfast in the garden, Barbara and her husband are very affable and attentive. Excellent location for excursions.

My rhyming review: At the B&B Al Pozzo in Civate we were very satisfied with an excellent breakfast prepared with great care by Barbara, a very welcoming Host who takes care of every customer immersed in the green nature where you find fantastic creatures: goats, cats, dogs, a place to return to, someday!

Positively impressed by the landscape, the location, the surrounding nature; having said that, it truly feels like being at a friend's house. Welcoming friends ready for a chat, if one truly desires to have a harmonious and sincere conversation. There is no business, profit before any other priority. There is a family. Good. Genuine. For those who love to stay in silence and peace, Al Pozzo remains certainly one of the bucolic places par excellence, which I recommend with all my heart.

Very cozy place managed by very kind and helpful people both towards people and four-legged companions. The house is really nice, excellent cleanliness and services, absolutely superb breakfast. We stayed here for two nights to visit Lake Como staying in a secluded and quiet place and we discovered that we are in a perfect place for a holiday in the green. A special thanks to Barbara from us and Gilda.

Particular structure tailored to those who love a bit of rocky forest like us. We will be back next year.

Characteristic Bed and Breakfast near Lake Civate, with beautiful walks and an excellent restaurant nearby. The owner was extremely kind in meeting our family needs with a young child, well beyond our expectations. The breakfast is superb, with local and fresh products, varied and very abundant, served in the characteristic porch overlooking the garden.

Excellent in every way! A bit hidden, reachable only by foot (uphill) due to some ongoing works (which will naturally end), but for 25€ you even have a cute double room with a kitchenette. Plasma TV, comfortable bathroom, and Barbara (the owner) is a delightful person. Recommended if you have a loved one hospitalized at 'Al Pozzo' in Bosisio Parini (as happened to me) or in any healthcare facility in the area. It's about a ten-minute walk and saves you from spending at least 80-100 € in the area hotels. P.S. Breakfast is provided, but I didn't have time to have it so I couldn't evaluate it.

The location, the context, and the interiors are excellent. The breakfast is fantastic and, above all, the manager is a great person.
