The B&B Il Vigneto offers exceptional service with breathtaking views. It is just a 10-minute bus ride from Manarola, costing only 2.5 euros. You can also get the Cinque Terre card, with a discount code available from Il Vigneto. It's an amazing place and not too hot.

Location was good - an easy shuttle bus up and down to Manarola (€2.50 one way in the peak season). The rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely breakfast and terrace views. Helpful hosts. Definitely ask for the Cinque Terre card (train and trail - plus includes shuttle bus) discount code. It’s worth it!\n\nWe stayed in summer and the room was really hot - even after requesting a fan. Sadly no meal prep allowed in rooms and there is no communal kitchen.

I stayed for three nights in this lovely B&B and it must be one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The view from the room was breathtaking and waking up every morning to breakfast on the terrace was a lovely experience. Staying in Volastra is great as it is quite close to Manarola but you skip the tourist madness of Cinque Terre. Donatella and Andrea were super friendly and accommodating. I will have to go back to try Andrea's wine! This is an amazing place to stay.

Great location, perfect for the trails as you are already up the mountain, you only have to walk down! Beautiful views at breakfast, lovely hosts. The location is great as the Cinque Terre villages get very busy and it's nice to get away from the crowds. Bus stop a 2-minute walk away, regular service. Also, there is a local shuttle taxi if you wish to stay out past bus times. Very enjoyable stay.

Excellent journey,\n\n1 week in Volastra in this nice apartment.\n\nThe town is well served by bus to Manarola (one of the 5 Terre) and it's very easy to move from one to another.\n\nIt's very good to visit Cinque Terre and have a calm and quiet place to sleep.

A wonderful place to stay! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and served a delicious breakfast! The terrace is beautiful. Only complaint would be that there is little to do in Volastra and not many people around, so if you're looking for a getaway this is where you should go.

Very nice, clean B&B that also has a private parking, which is a big plus in Cinque Terre. As mentioned by other guests, breakfast is simple and probably not enough to start the day for most men and teenagers.\n\nOverall we had a pleasant stay at this B&B in the small village of Volastra.

We stayed in the apartment La Giara. We had to rearrange our entire vacation because of the mandatory 3-night minimum. The fold-out bed was in the kitchen. The bathroom had a minuscule shower - cannot fit oversized bodies! Wi-Fi is not available in the apartment. We went to two nice little restaurants near the apartment. Volastra is a nice little town; however, it is not close to the ocean. It took us more than an hour to walk down from Volastra to Manarola. There is, thankfully, a bus service. Parking is a challenge - make sure you have a small car to park in the olive grove! (and an extra 5 Euros a day).

We decided to spend 2 days in Cinque Terre with only one week in advance, and we were lucky to find Andrea and Patrizia and their B&B. They didn't have availability in their B&B, but instead we were offered a small apartment really close to it, with nearly the same price. It was a great decision to stay in Volastra, what amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea, and fantastic trails along vineyards and olive trails, plus the quietness and silence of a small village with kind people. It was a pleasure for us to stay in your apartment, nearly as if we were staying at our home.

Nice people, very friendly, nice place with panoramic sea-views. You do need a car to get the place as buses stop running quite early in the evening. The only drawback is the limited breakfast with bread and jam, no nice touch to it, what a pity as this is so important for the guests to get something a bit better than you would maybe get at home on a normal day. But as a whole it is a nice clean B&B with beautiful walks all around the village.

Hello. Very good location for walks on the Cinque Terre trails and the possibility to take a coach to go down to Manarola. For a one-week stay we would have appreciated the presence or the possibility to use a washing machine on site. Points to review: fridge without an ice-making option. Mosquito nets in poor condition. Only two small spoons and a kitchen knife that is not very sharp. For the rest: nothing to report. Regards. Gilles.

Excellent stay at B&B Il Vigneto in Volastra, where Patricia and Donatella took care of us to make our stay as pleasant as possible and to explain how and where to visit all the tourist wonders. Magnificent view, small restaurant "le tire-bouchon" in the village with its excellent regional cuisine. Not too crowded, not too hot, ideal to enjoy our sporty and exotic stay in the five seaside villages. Excellent address to recommend and remember :)

Good stay despite the heat, do not hesitate to ask the hosts for a fan as there is no air conditioning. \nIn the apartments where we stayed, you need to go outside, in the garden, to have a decent Wi-Fi connection. \nVery well located structure in the center of the pretty village of Volastra, allowing you to access the various hiking trails of the Cinque Terre, with a minibus service to reach the village of Manarola. \nAlso, be careful not to overload yourself with luggage, the parking spaces (paying but appreciable) are quite far from the hotel structure. \nPleasant stay overall.

It was the first time we went to a B&B and it will be the last. Non-existent welcome as we enter with a code despite having informed of our late arrival. We felt like in a formula one in France. Furthermore, we had to walk 250 meters with our luggage to the room. No response to our message on the mobile phone and no presentation at breakfast the next morning by the owners. Thank you nonetheless for changing our accommodation, the room was too small for our multiple luggage and the dog we had planned. On the day of our departure, we would have liked to be delivered our wine order by the owner to have explanations about his organic wine. In conclusion, I will not recommend this address to friends and I will be cautious if I have to come back to a B&B.

Excellent address to visit the Cinque Terre as it is away from the tourist crowd of the 5 villages and very close by very frequent bus or on foot (30 minutes downhill) from Manarola and about 1h15 from a wonderful and easy walk to Corniglia. Very good location: in the heart of Cinque Terre but without being in the crowd (the hamlet is a bit uphill). We walked to wander from one village to another using the train for the returns. Very close (less than 50m) a 'family' and very good restaurant. Impeccable welcome from Andrea and Patricia. If the weather is nice, breakfast on the terrace above the other villages and the sea. Good comfort and very clean. The rooms with sea view are just above the roofs of the hamlet: the view is not very direct but it's not a problem.

We booked the 'La Giara' apartment without breakfast, but we were still allowed to use the wonderful rooftop terrace for our own breakfast. The apartment itself was well-equipped and clean. Communication with the landlords was great. Thank you Andrea & Donatella! The location is fantastic. In 40 minutes you can walk to Manarola, there is also a minibus available. And we even got a discount on the Cinque Terre hiking map. Of course, it's generally not cheap in the region. But here the price-performance ratio is definitely good. Good accommodation, it is necessary to consider that it is far away, on top of a hill, above Manarola, so to go to the train or to the nearby villages you have to take a bus that takes you to the nearest village in 10 minutes and close to the train station, otherwise walking takes about 45 minutes. Breakfast is quite basic, but considering how far away it is from everything, you have to take advantage of it. It doesn't have air conditioning, but a small fan in the room. The price quality ratio is quite good, considering that staying in cinque terre is quite expensive.

We stayed for 3 nights at B&B Il Vigneto di Volastra - 2 adults and 2 children. We had a very good time, the manager was very kind (we had a problem with the fridge that was fixed immediately). The breakfast was very appreciated especially by our little girls but also by the parents because we did not have to think about what to eat right after waking up. Personally, I would only change the breakfast time which is from 8 to 9:30. I would move it up at least half an hour because those who want to go hiking need to leave early and waiting until 8 for breakfast means leaving at 9 and in summer it is already a bit late to start on the trails. Very quiet place with a stunning view.

We stayed overnight using the B&B Day promotion (staying two nights, one was free): it was a great discovery! The B&B not only has rooms with the classic bed and breakfast formula, but also has 3 accommodations with kitchens. We stayed in one of the two accommodations "La Giara": an excellent solution for staying up to 4 people (3 in the bedroom and one in the kitchen where there is the sofa bed). The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to prepare meals, comfortable bathroom with basic comforts, as well as the bedroom which has a beautiful view of the vineyards of the Cinque Terre. The owners are very kind and helpful, also providing all the information to check-in independently in case of arrivals, like ours, at times well beyond dinner. Especially convenient is their private parking (for a fee) to secure you a parking spot, as the local parking is mostly available only for residents. Everything is well explained and convenient, availability of Wi-Fi, waste separation right outside the accommodation and especially a great discount for the Cinque Terre card useful for visiting this fabulous territory by train or hiking. Important: thanks to this card, you will also have free use of the local shuttle that allows you to reach from Volastra the center of Manarola and vice versa. Booking the accommodation also gives you access to the wonderful sea-view terrace of the B&B, a must-do stop! In Volastra, you will also find an inn where you can eat, a shop with all the essentials to buy, a bar, and a kiosk for breakfasts or breaks. Definitely the ideal solution to fully enjoy a corner of tranquility in the Cinque Terre.

Very pleasant Easter weekend in this B&B located in Volastra, a quiet village just a few kilometers from Manarola, in the heart of the Cinque Terre. We found clean room and bathroom and the staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast was served on the top terrace, from which you can enjoy a lovely sea view, immersed in a paradisiacal peace. The property also has a private parking (for a fee), while a convenient bus service connects Volastra to Manarola in a few minutes. We took advantage of the sunny days to immerse ourselves in the nature of this wonderful part of Liguria, walking along the various paths that, winding through the terraced vineyards, reach the sea. In the village there are a minimarket and two small restaurants, where we always had dinner after our daily excursions. B&B Il Vigneto definitely recommended and a vacation to repeat!

B&B Il Vigneto located in a strategic position, at the junction of many trekking itineraries with parking and shuttle service to reach Manarola. Helpful and courteous staff. Good breakfast with limited choices. Panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. Neat and clean rooms.

My wife and I had a great time. The room is beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom nice and large. The breakfast on the terrace is excellent and the sea view is priceless. The lady is very kind and helpful, she gave us advice and suggestions. The location is excellent, there is a path that leads down to Manarola and one to Corniglia. There is also a bus service that takes you to Manarola, from there you can visit all the Cinque Terre.

B&B in Volastra in an inconvenient location compared to the centers of Riomaggiore and Manarola, reachable by shuttle buses with very restrictive hourly availability and last ride from Manarola at 6:45 pm. Parking in the small centers of the Cinque Terre is very difficult to find, so it is advisable to consider renting a motorcycle. The B&B is convenient for walks in the trails. The wine tasting produced by the owner's father is very much appreciated.

Located in the hamlet of Volastra in one of the Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore, therefore a very quiet place, terrace with a spectacular breakfast view, a hub for beautiful walks, up to Manarola and Corniglia, new, modern, clean structure, courteous staff.

The answer from the host:
Saluti Andrea.

Structure located in the small village of Volastra in a panoramic position with a wide view of the sea and mountains. Ideal location for excursions both descending towards the sea and ascending towards the mountain through the terraces of vines and olives painstakingly torn from the rugged nature of the places. The atmosphere of the village is evocative. The staff is friendly and affable. A greater attention to room cleanliness would be appreciated.

I booked the B&B Il Vigneto about a month in advance. The website stated that all rooms had private bathrooms. The room number was provided 2/3 days before arrival with the note: private bathroom in front of the room. That's where I started to suspect something was off. Upon arrival, we followed the instructions and entered our room. The bathroom was located outside, in front of our room and next to other guests' rooms. Next to it was the entrance to the breakfast balcony. I must say, zero privacy. Moreover, the bathroom had no key. The host reassured us that each room had its own bathroom, but on the second evening we found the bathroom dirty, someone had used it. Additionally, there were 3 steep steps to access the bathroom, and at night I almost fell. In short, very inconvenient. If we had known about the situation beforehand, we would have canceled the reservation. On the plus side, the place was clean and the staff very courteous.

Meno male che i nostri clienti non sono tutti come voi e sanno apprezzare la nostra struttura con una splendida terrazza vista mare per la colazione che voi neanche ne parlate. Grazie ancora.

We were lucky to stay at the B&B Il Vigneto on the occasion of the B&B Day (2 nights for the price of one). Maximum availability for accessing the property even if the owners are not present. Very beautiful and clean surroundings, Volastra is a lovely village accessible only by foot, parking nearby is almost non-existent, but there is the possibility of using a paid private parking. Kind and discreet owners. Unfortunately, our stay was affected by bad weather, it would have been wonderful to have breakfast on the terrace... The view is spectacular!

Lovely location. Good connecting services to visit the tourist locations of the 5 lands. Volastra is in a strategic and dominant position, a little gem from where positive paths and thoughts start. Fully satisfied with the choice. We will be back!

I realized I made the right choice starting from the confirmation email of the booking, which was detailed, clear, and exhaustive regarding useful and practical information. The availability of the owner, whom I spoke to on the phone upon my arrival, was sincere and reassuring. I dealt with the employee, whose name I don't remember but had a nice Tuscan accent. Very kind, welcoming, always smiling.\n\nThe cleanliness of B&B Il Vigneto is impeccable, as well as the care of the environment.\n\nThere is a terrace, at B&B Il Vigneto, with a splendid view of the sea, and it is open at any time of day and night. Stunning.\n\nIn Volastra, you are not exactly steps away from the sea, but with the bus, you are in Manarola in five minutes and from there (besides being by the sea) you can reach any area of the Cinque Terre, on foot or by train. Moreover, if you like walking, you can also reach Manarola on foot: a beautiful road steep in some points, but it's worth it.\n\nYou are also close to Corniglia. A beautiful cluster of houses clinging to the cliff.

The B&B is very picturesque in a beautiful position in the first hinterland. Ideal for relaxing away from the chaos of Manarola. Volastra is a charming place: a small, well-kept and very welcoming village, easily reachable by paved road. During the period we stayed, there was only a grocery/store open with rather high prices and a bar attached to a hotel. However, there is also a minimarket and a restaurant. The B&B is well renovated and comfortable, considering the peculiarities of the area: do not be surprised by the numerous stairs and steps connecting the various parts and the sometimes rather bizarre volumes of certain rooms. We are in the 5 lands, famous for their houses clinging to the rock and built one on top of the other! This is also the beauty of staying in a unique place in the world. The environments are still pleasantly livable. Our room did not enjoy the sea view (a privilege of those on the first floor) but had a large bathroom with a window. Modern and functional fixtures and furnishings. Heating and hot water perfectly working. Wonderful is the panoramic terrace, kissed by the sun, which alone is worth the stay in this B&B! The kitchen area is well structured and equipped, where a nice and kind lady prepared breakfast for us. Good breakfast, considering that only packaged products can be served. Bread, biscuits, toasted slices with butter, jam and honey. Yogurt, fruit juice and a choice between milk, coffee, tea or hot chocolate. All kindly prepared and served by the friendly lady mentioned above. Aiming for perfection, the offer of biscuits, croissants and sweets could be expanded, also including some savory products (especially to meet the tastes of foreign tourists). I also suggest the managers to provide an additional blanket in the winter months, for those who are sensitive to the cold like me! The managers are very friendly from the first contacts via e-mail; they provided me with many useful information not only about their structure but also about the 5 lands in general. Very useful is also the private parking for an extra fee of 5 euros per day. In low season, you can find a spot in the public parking, but in high season it's a whole different story! I hope to return soon to this very special place and on that occasion I will definitely consider the option of staying again at B&B Il Vigneto.
