Everything fine, very nice landlady.

Very nice place, plenty of space, very comfortable and a very good deal. I didn't realize there were a lot of external stairs involved, which was not a big problem for me but might be for some. There's an elevator in the building. Alot of Genoa is built into the cliffs, so not unusual, I think but not a good choice if someone has mobility issues.

We had a wonderful stay in Genoa at B&B I Rivi very well located by Nuccia. Super bedroom and bathroom and only a short walk from the historic center of the town.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of Genoa. Nuccia is a gracious and accommodating host. We spent 3 nights there and each morning we requested breakfast at different times, all requests were accommodated. Breakfast is varied and each morning included delicious treats that Nuccia prepared or baked. The room is separated from the apartment and is very comfortable and spacious. The place is immaculately clean. We loved staying here.

A very nice and comfortable stay, very central, close to the Palazzi area, a wonderful host, fantastic breakfast - a place you would appreciate coming again. In spite of my lack of Italian, we could perfectly come along initially in English in writing and then in French. Thank you for the good time!

Nuccia is a gracious host, who really cares for her guests. She carries the luggage up the stairs outside the building. Her baking makes the breakfasts unique. She has great suggestions for seeing and tasting Genova.

The owner tried at all times to make us feel comfortable (and he did it): Was flexible with schedules, gave us tips about the city, and a very interesting conversation about Italian news and culture.\n\nA place to come back.

Attention, there are stairs and then an elevator, but with luggage it can be complicated. The host provided us with all the information for dinner. There is a space to cook, but only a microwave. It is a 20-minute walk from the station.

We loved this bed and breakfast in every way. Nuncia was really welcoming, the room was impeccable and cozy. We could enjoy Genoa and relax. The Castelletto belvedere is very close: we were able to see the sunrise and then go back to bed, it was great. I really recommend it. Thanks again!

We spent 2 days near the center of Genoa. Perfect B&B, no need to take the car. The owner Nuccia gave us a pass to park for free on the street. Excellent welcome. Impeccable cleanliness. Excellent breakfast. The room is independent from the rest of the owners' apartment. Just a slight downside: the room overlooks a small courtyard and is therefore a bit dark. I recommend this bed and breakfast without hesitation.

The accommodation, in my opinion, is on par with any hotel. The attention, friendliness, warmth, and helpfulness of the hostess are outstanding. The homemade breakfast is varied and plentiful. In the room, there is also a kettle with which one could prepare tea in the evening. The spaces accommodate up to four people. There is a large shower room. Everything is very clean. The accommodation is centrally located and makes it easy to explore Genoa on foot without any problems. What one should know about Genoa are the numerous stairs present. Indeed, there is a staircase that leads to the accommodation. However, it is easy to navigate. Overall, I am thrilled to have been at B&B I Rivi.

Lovely guesthouse in a central yet quiet location. Personal care by the hostess and the option to use a, not quite cheap, parking space in a garage across the street, were so enjoyable that we would gladly come back.

Nice apartment in a central location.

We stayed only one night and it was a great choice. Nuccia welcomed us with an aperitif, the location is perfect as it is 10 minutes from the center and other places of interest. We had a good time, adequate price, parking in front with an external staircase that leads to the building and internally a small elevator to go up to the floor, tasty breakfast and the owners available but discreet. Located just outside the center.

First of all, the person who welcomes and manages the activity is very kind and helpful. They also give you the right advice on what to visit. The rooms are really comfortable, clean, and well-kept, in short, they are better than your own home. The bathroom is of the same level. In essence, everything is well above expectations. The breakfast is superb and even arrives on a trolley, something never seen before and loaded with everything. We couldn't consume everything. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A portion of the house is used for accommodation. Located on one of the many staircases of Genoa, near the Edoardo Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art and the waterfall built inside the Villetta di Negro park. Room with wrought iron bed and ancient vault, small but very clean bathroom with functional shower and excellent toiletries. Located on the 4th floor with elevator in a well-maintained period building. The highlight is the management of the owner Nuccia, nice, sunny, empathetic who brings you a fantastic breakfast, rich in "content" directly to the room at the agreed time, to be consumed on a small table in the room: adorable. We will return here in our future summer weekends in Genoa.

Excellent welcome. It exceeded expectations. A really nice and comfortable place, also good for visiting the city. Mrs. Nuccia was very friendly. She prepared a gluten-free breakfast as I preferred with fruit, yogurt, bread, cheeses, vegetables, fruit juice, and cappuccino. The structure is located in a great position. The only thing is that to reach the entrance you have to climb several stairs, so for those who have a very heavy suitcase, it could become tiring, if you are not too young. Otherwise, the lady who welcomed us is very kind and helpful. The photo of the room perfectly reflects reality.

It is definitely a "gentleman" B&B. Bedroom and bathroom inside the owner's house but with very well separated environments (owners and guests) and no encounters. Perfect cleanliness. The owner (Mrs. Nuccia) is very discreet and caring. Provides all kinds of information for an intense and pleasant stay. The breakfast is exemplary: rich (sweet and savory), more than plentiful, well-taken care of and excellently presented. The goodness of the homemade cookies, sweets and jams is indisputable. The location is very central (aquarium 10 minutes on foot). Parking is difficult but not impossible (two rounds and... found). The area is central so stairs are not lacking, but elevators and funiculars allow the laziest to move easily. Always on foot several restaurants for every palate. Also for these, Mrs. Nuccia is a perfect mentor. Sincere congratulations.

Optimal quality - price ratio. Superlative breakfast, cleanliness and exquisite kindness.

Mrs. Nuccia is very kind, available to welcome guests at any time and ready to provide all the necessary information to visit the city and learn about its structures and traditions. The bathroom is spacious, brand new and sparkling! The house is on a characteristic Genoese staircase, 200 meters from the center, and from there continuing you reach a panoramic point called belvedere. Warm and familiar welcome, very pleasant.

I chose the family solution with the two connecting rooms and private bathroom which turned out to be excellent for our trip to Genoa with two children. Our holiday in Genoa gave us the opportunity to discover this fantastic B&B. We will never forget the kindness and care of Mrs. Nuccia, a hostess who made us feel truly at home. Every morning she delighted us with her super breakfasts: chocolate tarts, cakes, jams, all made by her. Then the focaccia, fresh fruit, yogurt and many other delights. Not to mention the warmth with which she told us about Genoa and her family. The B&B is in a beautiful 19th-century building, a stone's throw from the city center, but the most beautiful thing is the order and cleanliness everywhere. Very convenient for those arriving by car, the possibility to park near the B&B with the pass issued by the Municipality. A big thank you Mrs. Nuccia, for everything.

I stayed at this property with my partner and our two children aged 3 and 6 between December 31, 2016 and January 1, 2017 and we were all thrilled. The bed and breakfast is located on the fourth floor of a building (with elevator), about 10 minutes walk from the old port (where the Aquarium, the biosphere, the city of children and teenagers etc. are located) and from the historic Via Garibaldi. The apartment is inhabited by the family who manages the bed and breakfast and guests are reserved a portion of the house. The four of us had a double bedroom, a room with two single beds and a private bathroom. The two rooms are communicating and privacy is guaranteed by a door that separates the guest rooms from the rest of the house. The rooms are very clean and richly furnished: in the double bedroom there is an area "herbal teas" (kettle, two cups and a selection of herbal teas are available to guests), in each room we found glasses, a water bottle, a bowl with candies and chocolates, the bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, liquid soap, shower gel sachets, toilet paper, tissues; each of us had two personal towels in addition to the bathrobe. Breakfast was fantastic, at the agreed time we found a table set worthy of a 5-star hotel: at least three types of cookies, fresh sliced bread, Genoese focaccia, two types of homemade cake, yogurt, muesli, fresh fruit, jams, Nutella, two types of fruit juice, water, tea, milk, powdered cocoa, coffee.. It is clear that the landlady runs the business out of passion, she is a discreet presence, but "makes a difference": she provided us with a lot of information about the city and knew how to suggest the places and attractions most suitable for our needs. The apartment does not have private parking, but for a small extra charge, Mrs. Nuccia provides a daily parking pass that allows you to park your car in Via Caffaro (the street on which the property faces). I recommend the property to couples, families, and small groups of friends.

We received a very warm and professional welcome from the owner who went out of her way to give us advice on places to visit and great restaurants. The B&B's location is perfect: you can go everywhere on foot, which was our main need and was fully met. The rooms are also functional and cute, especially the double room with a beautiful frescoed ceiling. The breakfast served in the house's kitchen is abundant and varied, enriched with Genoese specialties and sweet delicacies prepared on the spot. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in Genoa feeling at home and loves exploring the city on foot.

Excellent location, very close to the center (oh, also a stone's throw from the Genoa esplanade where you will enjoy a magnificent view), impeccable cleanliness, perfect room, perfect bathroom, amazing staff. Words struggle to describe the warm gratitude felt after a stay like the one experienced at I Rivi. Undoubtedly, the B&B I Rivi is very close to all the main attractions of Genoa and allows you to walk around to visit the splendid Via Garibaldi (truly just a stone's throw away), Piazza de Ferraris, and stroll down the characteristic historic center to the Porto Antico. We were with two girls and we always walked and it was comfortable and pleasant. So the location is perfect! Moreover, climbing a few steps takes you to the Castelletto terrace from where you can admire the whole panorama. Nuccia welcomed us with a splendid smile, offering us a rejuvenating snack and all the necessary information to move around. But the morning was the most beautiful moment. The table laden with every delight! Imagining it is not possible. From warm chocolate Tortini, to fried bomboloni with sugar, from margherita cake to cereals and fresh fruit, from homemade jam to Genoese focaccia to enjoy with foamy cappuccino. In every dish, there was work done with heart by a special person who made us feel pampered and at home, and with whom every shared word was an enriching moment! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, full of care. In the evening, we would return and even find small bottles of fresh water and extremely clean and fragrant rooms. When I return to Genoa, the B&B I Rivi will always be my home. Thank you, Nuccia. The love for your work leaves a mark in our memories.

This B&B is truly delightful. Located a stone's throw from all the main attractions of the city, it allows you to move around peacefully on foot in any direction. We needed a base and among the various online reviews, we found those about B&B I Rivi, very interesting and positive. And indeed it was, impeccable reception, welcome aperitif offered by Mrs. Nuccia, delicious. Beautiful, well-kept and clean room, the same for the services, spacious and comfortable bathroom. In the morning, a great awakening accompanied by a star breakfast, with the legendary homemade chocolate tart by Nuccia. What else to say, excellent service. If we pass through Genoa again, we will know for sure where to stay.

We stayed at B&B I Rivi for several days and it was a top-notch experience. The B&B is in a central strategic and very convenient location, both for walking to the historic center and the Aquarium and for accessing public transport (bus, funicular, panoramic lift). Some uphill walking and a few stairs should be expected, but in Genoa it is difficult to find otherwise, and with the pass provided by the owners, even parking is not a big issue. That said, the rooms are truly comfortable, tastefully decorated, quiet, and meticulously maintained in every way, with, in practice, a private bathroom (also spacious and comfortable). Furthermore, both cleanliness and privacy are top-notch. The added value is the welcome and management of Mrs. Nuccia, extremely attentive and generous. Breakfasts are plentiful and of excellent quality and, not to be overlooked, homemade by Nuccia who literally spoils her guests with delicacies and valuable advice and suggestions on what to do and see in Genoa. A B&B not only highly recommended but that leaves you wanting to return as soon as possible.

I spent three nights at B&B I Rivi. The room and the bathroom are elegant and very clean. The location is very good, central, in the middle of a staircase, but after all, it is Genoa. Guests of this beautiful B&B, said by someone who has seen quite a few, services like these are truly rare. Welcome aperitif with tartlets with pesto and focaccia from Genoa and a glass. Spacious, clean rooms, truly comfortable bathroom, in a space isolated by a folding door from the rest of the house. Breakfast is really "royal". What can I say, desserts made at the moment (the warm hearts with hot chocolate inside are recommended), cakes, fresh fruit, truly a rare thing. The kindness of Mrs. Nuccia and her husband is unmatched. I recommend experiencing this, it is beautiful.

Excellent structure, we were two parents with two small children aged three years and eighteen months with an adult friend. Very nice rooms and a new bathroom, everything perfectly clean. There is excellent privacy and a nice silence. Mrs. Nuccia is very helpful and understanding even though we are a noisy family. The hospitality, professionalism, and kindness are part of this family that really knows how to host. The breakfasts are fabulous, as are the directions given about the city while we were drinking coffee. Highly recommended to everyone.

A few steps away is the Castelletto Elevator: unforgettable Genoa from up there. Go down, walk a few meters and everything is in the center. The cleanliness is impeccable, there is attention to detail, it is quiet, and the breakfast is spectacular (greatly appreciated by my husband), the bathroom and shower are very comfortable. They helped us with everything. It couldn't have gone better. Special thanks to Mrs. Nuccia, who is capable of listening to every detail to help you and spend the stay you desire. Furthermore, I felt unwell and Nuccia and her husband were my emergency service for twenty minutes. Therefore, if you do not want to take risks in Genoa, you must book the B&B I Rivi... with your eyes closed.

My family and I are enthusiastic about the place and about Mrs. Nuccia, in particular. A few steps from the center and from the aquarium and museums; the room is very beautiful and well-kept, the bathroom is perfect with a large shower, everything very clean. Mrs. Nuccia's breakfast is not just great, it's more than that. And the kindness, courtesy, and availability of Mrs. Nuccia and her family complete everything magnificently. We really liked the location of the room in this B&B, which, although inside the house, is positioned in a way that ensures privacy and autonomy for the guests. The bathroom is for the exclusive use of the guests who access it directly from the room. House keys are provided, allowing entry and exit without time constraints. What can I say about the welcome? The room is very beautiful and well cared for in detail. The owners are very kind and attentive to the needs of the guests, extremely available but always discreet. The breakfast is excellent and of high quality. Even after two months, we still fondly remember the homemade chocolate cakes made by the lady. A B&B definitely worth choosing.
