What a delightful B & B nestled in the medieval city of Apricale. The location is perfect (right near the main square and chateau). The hosts were responsive, kind and very welcoming. We stayed in the triple which was fixed up wonderfully while keeping the medieval charm. We would highly recommend this B & B.

An amazingly scenic town with plenty of small cobbled streets to explore. I arrived on the first evening of a 10-day long evening Shakespearean theatre performance. Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming local populace, and felt very honored to be there. The car park is a little awkward as there are few roads wide enough to be able to park close to the accommodation, but it did mean it was quiet. The room was really quaint and very comfortable, with great views over the gills to the side. A coffee on arrival, and homemade cakes in the morning as part of the breakfast were delicious. A great find in the middle of the summer holidays. Thank you.

What a lovely place to stay! The town itself is like in a fairy tale. Paolo and Barbara are very friendly and the room was fantastic, cool and very tranquil, with a private terrace overlooking a forested mountain. Great breakfast. Note that the stairs down to the room are steep.

It was very nice, the cave room perfect for a romantic weekend. The small balcony is very nice. The mattress is a bit soft. Thanks to Barbara for her delicious crostone.

The location and the interior infrastructure are not suitable for elderly people. The external access and especially the access to the interior rooms is very difficult. Too bad because the rest is perfect.

The room 'La Grotta' has a lot of charm in absolute quiet, there is all the necessary comfort. Watch out for the access to the room, stairs a bit steep but that's also what makes it charming! It was very good, courteous welcome and good communication.

It was a very nice stay in Apricale. We were also lucky that a theatre festival takes place in the summer and thus were able to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine.

Very quiet location. One should not have too much heavy luggage. The way from the car to the accommodation leads through narrow alleys. Very quaint.

Beautiful and very romantic location. The room il Fienile, carved into the rock, was beautiful and clean. Paolo and Barbara welcomed me with warmth and availability. I highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Apricale is a gem, 'B&B Da Marta' is at the heart of the gem. Apricale is a 'pedestrian' village, luggage is carried by hand. For the rest, only compliments: the renovation, the kindness, the cleanliness, the communication, the welcome. Everything makes you forget how tiny the room is (The hayloft). The only suggestion for breakfast, which is only sweet... (or maybe just needed to ask?): considering how good and fresh the bread is, some cold cuts and an egg would have been nice! Thank you Paolo, the stay in Apricale was pleasant also thanks to you!

B&B Da Marta is a beautiful house in the historic center of Apricale, all built in stone, like the rest of the village which is a true jewel of peace, authenticity, and history. Lovely room, clean and spacious, with a view of the cliff. The owners are very kind and dear. Good breakfast. I would come back, and I would highly recommend it.

We stayed at B&B Da Marta and we had a good experience. The place is beautiful and the structure is very characteristic. Unfortunately, we suffered from the cold due to the season. The room, located in the barn, has a view of the valley. The two windows are very unique! The breakfast is plentiful but limited to only one cake, although it's good! The stairs to access the room are a bit steep, so they might be a problem for those with mobility issues.

We had a great time, Paolo and Barbara are very kind and helpful people, the barn room where we slept was adorable, clean, simple, and special at the same time, there are two small windows from where you can see the magnificent forest and the sky, we couldn't ask for more. The breakfast, served by Barbara with loving care, was delicious, she is always ready to prepare what you like the most. A nice place to come back soon, with the cold approaching I would like to enjoy the room with the fireplace they have. Like a fairy tale.

Fantastic B&B, just like Apricale is incredible. The owners Paolo and Barbara were very kind and helpful, excellent and abundant breakfast, and unique rooms, set in the rock! Highly recommended for those who want to spend a few quiet days and recharge.

In the heart of the splendid village of Apricale, the B&B "Da Marta" opened the mystery of the houses in this small town, projecting us into a dimension of other times with the comfort of modernity. We slept in the room called "Grotta", actually an ancient shelter for rabbits, now transformed into an extremely characteristic environment, with its steep stairs and its stone walls, but warm and welcoming, with the small balcony overlooking the blooming mimosa trees. After a sleep lulled by absolute silence, we were surrounded by the attentions of the hosts, who served us and the other guests, along with the cappuccino, an excellent homemade cake just baked. It was a totally positive experience that I would repeat immediately and that I absolutely recommend.
