Perfect stay when in Camogli! Amazing views, incredible breakfast and very kind, generous and accommodating hosts. Will most definitely come back!

The room with a private bathroom on the floor is very small, bathroom on the floor is inconvenient. At the booking moment this was the only room free, and the place had good reviews on booking.com. I made it clear to the host that we wanted to change during the stay in case of cancellations, he confirmed that this could be possible. Actually there were cancellations but he preferred new customers for the bigger rooms with bathroom. I signalized that we were a bit disappointed. Actually he went VERY unpleasant and angry. Very unclever since his business is dependent on satisfied customers. We found another nice place to stay in Camogli.

Lei ha scelto di soggiornare presso la nostra struttura scegliendo (ergo, la camera non le è stata assegnata) una delle due camere con il bagno privato esterno (ricordo a beneficio dei futuri ospiti che per bagno privato esterno si intende un bagno completo e di nuovissima ristrutturazione, ad utilizzo esclusivo degli ospiti della camera, dunque NON in condivisione e situato a pochi passi dalla camera) in quanto tutte le altre camere erano occupate. Lei ha soggiornato dal 26 maggio al 29 maggio per un totale di tre notti La mattina del 27 (dunque dopo la prima notte) mi ha chiesto per email (pensare che ci siamo incontrati nella sala colazioni e poteva tranquillamente parlarmi) se vi fosse la possibilità di cambiare con una camera con bagno interno. Il sottoscritto le ha immediatamente e molto cortesemente risposto dicendo che purtroppo la possibilità ci sarebbe stata solo l'ultima notte. Tra il 28 ed il 29 si era liberata una ensuite double. Ebbene, lei a questo mio messaggio non ha mai risposto, né per iscritto né durante la colazione del 28 mattina. Il sottoscritto si è dunque sentito libero ed autorizzato a procedere altrimenti. ERGO, ho venduto la camera dotata di bagno interno la terza notte perché lei non mi ha fatto pervenire ne formalmente né verbalmente il suo benestare...ecco come sono andate le cose. Io non ho ricevuto nessuna cancellazione tanto meno ho dato corsie preferenziali, piuttosto è lei che non ha confermato, semplicemente sarebbe bastato parlare il 28 mattina durante la colazione...mi rendo conto che è sempre più facile fare i leoni da tastiera a posteriori. Le assicuro che io sono molto genuino, intelligente e soprattutto educato Grazie Claudio.

Claudio was exceptionally helpful. He was full of advice and recommendations. The breakfast was homemade, the beds very comfy, and the location unbeatable across from the water and promenade and a minute walk away from the boardwalk where everything is. There’s onsite parking and the train station is a few feet away. Superb B&B. Highly recommend this charming B&B.

Al Piccolo Scoglio Room & Breakfast was fabulous. Claudio was a terrific host. He provided very helpful information on the local area including restaurants and walking tips. Claudio also provided delicious breakfasts which kept us going on our treks. The room we stayed in was very clean and had a comfy bed and we had a nice view from our window. The accommodation was near to shops where we purchased snacks for our hikes. Camogli is a lovely place to visit and the accommodation was perfect for us. A big thank you to Claudio for being a great host.

Very bad price quality for the Bed & Breakfast and a very unfriendly host. The breakfast system is ridiculous, the people are treated as children by "daddy". You have to experience all this to believe it, really a place to forget.

Ognuno è certamente libero di esprimere le proprie opinioni, ma dovrebbe sempre farlo con garbo ed educazione, senza offendere (voi mi avete offeso dall'inizio, appena entrati, pretendendo di vedere la camera come se la nostra location non la aveste scelta voi) tutto il lavoro ed il sacrificio che c'è dietro...che, ovviamente, voi non avete minimamente colto (contrariamente alle 234 recensioni che vi hanno preceduto regalandoci, non a caso, un punteggio di 9. 1 su 10). Il sistema della colazione che voi definite ridicolo (semplicemente la colazione è servita e non a buffet) è invece molto apprezzato da tutti i nostri clienti...pertanto, facciamoci tutti delle domande ma soprattutto, diamoci delle risposte...a questo punto faccio mio l'invito per dimenticarvi a mia volta, tanti cari saluti dal vostro "papà".

This is an amazing place to stay! The views of the sea are truly spectacular, and so beautiful and peaceful, and the location is perfect for enjoying Camogli. The hosts Claudio and Camilla are honestly the BEST. On check-in Claudio gives you all the local information you might need to fully enjoy the area. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I had a medical issue during my stay, and they worked very hard to help me find and see a doctor, and took excellent care of me. Honestly, they treat their guests like family. I highly recommend Al Piccolo Scoglio!

I had a really good time at Al Piccolo Scoglio! Claudio was really attentive, even pointed out several activities to do, recommended restaurants, etc. Even though you had to bend your head a bit to get the seaview in the „Motta“, you could sure count on having a fantastic view in the breakfast salon each morning! My stay at Al Piccolo Scoglio exceeded my expectations. Claudio was attentive to all of my needs and emergencies. Upon my arrival he made me feel welcome and shared places to visit in the beautiful village of Camogli. I arrived without my bag since it was lost at the airport; his wife shared clothes for the hike and swim I had planned... and a raincoat which came in handy! He made me coffee earlier than usual; the breakfast choices were many and the focaccia was delicious! I will be recommending this special place to my friends and family.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay for a few days in Camogli. The B&B is located near the city center, near the beaches, 20 minutes walk to the next town, Recco. We got a wonderful view of the harbor from our room 'Punta Chiappa'. Claudio, the host, was very kind and helpful, giving us an itinerary of places to go, things to do, and where to eat right from the start and ready to give any extra help when needed. Breakfast was good, and the ceiling fan ensured we slept cool.

We had a delightful time at Al Piccolo Scoglio. The location is great and high up with views of the water. It is very close to the beach and the rooms were very comfortable. Also, the included breakfast is very good and has many options. Claudio, the host, was the best. He was very welcoming, helped us get oriented, and was available if we ever needed anything. The place is nice and clean, and everything is easily at hand. It is nice to have your own bathroom, and it is not an issue that it is outside the room. The only concern might be the noise in the street, for people sensitive to it - but the windows are well isolated if needs be. Very poor value for money. No air conditioning. Had to sleep with windows open due to the heat. Supposedly in a pedestrian zone at night, yet constant vehicle traffic all night. Extremely noisy. We left after the first night having not slept.

Very nice stay at Al Piccolo Scoglio Room & Breakfast which fully met our expectations. A plus: Claudio speaks French and informed us very well about the possibilities of tourist activities nearby. He also gave us good restaurant recommendations. The area is semi-pedestrian and relatively quiet at night. As it is difficult to park in the surroundings, the possibility of parking your car in a garage located 5 minutes away for 9 euros per night, accessible on foot in 5 minutes also through three flights of stairs, is a valuable asset.

Despite the weather (rain and stormy), we had a wonderful time in Camogli. At the Bed and Breakfast, we felt at home! We received good tips for restaurants and what to do in Camogli and the surrounding area. Since it often rained, we were allowed to play in the breakfast room with our children (6 and 8 years old). It was always nice to chat with Claudio.

L'orario delle colazioni fino alle 10. 00 (standard per le strutture) viene fatto per agevolare il check in anticipato degli ospiti in entrata, soprattutto nella bella stagione. Tanti ospiti chiedono di arrivare alle 10. 30 e alle 11. 00. Altrimenti si dovrebbero gestire le due cose in contemporanea con notevoli disagi per gli ospiti che giustamente vogliono terminare la colazione. In teoria la sala delle colazioni è disponibile per gli ospiti nei limiti delle attività di check in, raramente viene utilizzata preferendo gli ospiti stessi stare tutto il giorno all'aria aperta (in spiaggia, a fare trekking, aperitivo). The Bed and breakfast is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the port and the beach. It is a simple but clean B&B with many decorative details. Great place and great location, the room is small but functional, equipped with everything you need and really clean (bathroom included)! Breakfast is more than satisfactory with everything you could wish for. The location is not particularly quiet as it is on the street, but that’s how it is in Camogli... The parking provided by Claudio is a bit far but it is still possible to enter the ZTL to load/unload luggage, then you forget about the car but that’s how it is in Camogli... And everything is reachable by a walk!

We spent two very pleasant days hosted by Claudio, a perfect and very kind host. The B&B is located in a building from the 19th century, so the spaces are not huge. Our room, although not spacious, has everything needed for a stay and additionally has a view of the sea. The breakfast is varied, pleasant, and very rich. The location is perfect for reaching the sea, the center, and all the attractions of Camogli in just a few minutes. The parking option, near the property, at an absolutely favorable price, should not be overlooked. Recommended.

Gentilissimo Davide, grazie della sua recensione. Ne deduco che la nostra colazione del mattino (per quanto in appresso dirò) non abbia riflesso le vostre aspettative, mi dispiace. Devo fare al riguardo la seguente precisazione. Le ricordo, ciò è dipeso dal fatto che siete scesi nella nostra bellissima veranda vista mare alle 10. 20 quando lo slot dedicato al primo pasto della giornata si era concluso da almeno 20 minuti (sulla base della nostra policy a voi nota). Mia moglie è stata oltremodo cortese permettendovi di bere comunque una bevanda calda e consumare la focaccia e i croissant. Ovviamente non c'era il buffet, ritirato per la mancanza del vostro arrivo. Questo per dire che la nostra colazione è molto ricca, anzi ricchissima se consumata tra le 8 e le 10. Grazie, Claudio.

Room with dated furniture and a bathroom that needs modernization (the mat must have been at least 10 years old given how worn it was). Nice location. A suggestion for the manager: when asked if the child could use board games from the facility at 6 PM, it was said that this was not possible at that time. Too much rigidity that we did not understand. High price for such an old facility regarding the room furniture.

Buon pomeriggio e grazie della Vostra recensione. L'arredo delle nostre camere non è datato, riflette semplicemente il recupero di oggetti fatto con amore e personalità (che ovviamente non avete compreso, o forse lo ha compreso solo Federico), come le vecchie porte utilizzate per la testata del letto, il tavolo con le piastrelle color mare e la corda di cocco di contorno, la stessa usata per la tonnara. Le nostre camere hanno una anima e una storia, come la tonnara per l'appunto. Come tutte le strutture, anche la nostra ha delle regole e degli orari, non chiediamo che vengano compresi bensì accettati e osservati, tantomeno ci dobbiamo giustificare per questo. Sul prezzo, diciamo che avete speso in tre poco più di 50 euro a testa per dormire e fare una ricca prima colazione a Camogli, con vista mare, il richiestissimo ponte del 2 giugno. La sfido a trovare a Camogli, per il richiestissimo ponte del 2 giugno, una singola vista mare a meno di 60 euro. Grazie ancora per la visita. ERGO, ma di che stiamo parlando? Ahhh, giusto, proprio della bellissima vista mare e anche del deposito gratuito del vostro bagaglio sino al tardo pomeriggio...

I was with my boyfriend at Claudio Al Piccolo Scoglio for Valentine's Day weekend and it was magical. Claudio was immediately very kind and helpful, upon our arrival he explained and recommended all the typical places and restaurants where we could eat, and also, at Claudio's, it is possible to have a reserved parking spot for the car... which is not at all common in Camogli! We chose a room with a wonderful sea view, very cozy and well-kept. And regarding breakfast, Claudio will have fresh focaccia and croissants and many other things available for you every morning at the buffet. Thank you Claudio for this wonderful weekend. We will gladly return!

We stayed in this little corner of paradise in Camogli and I must say we felt at home, really! Claudio and his wife take care of the details of the services they provide for the customer to feel comfortable! We stayed in the Punta Chiappa room, really wonderful to wake up in the morning with the sea right in front, and even more beautiful to have breakfast on that veranda with the sea watching you, we also appreciated the private parking service. I stayed at "Al piccolo scoglio" with my partner last weekend. A perfect location, right at the entrance of the staircase leading to the historic center, in a beautiful panoramic position from which you can see the port of Camogli and a beautiful sea and sunset. The manager, Claudio, was very kind already on the phone, with precise parking instructions and then on-site with recommendations for restaurants and viewpoints. The fishing village of Camogli is like a postcard, with colorful houses, a harbor, characteristic shops, and poetic views. A slow pace to savor the atmosphere of an authentic place on the beautiful Ligurian Riviera in the Promontorio del Tigullio. Definitely to be repeated, to feel cradled by nature and the sea and to regenerate. I highly recommend it.

The kindness of the manager is the real difference, a rare commodity that is difficult to price. Those who do this job with passion deserve more than those who have an impeccable structure but do not know how to welcome a guest or customer. The structure is facing the sea. Not all rooms have a bathroom in the room, but the quality and price are good.

Negative vote for the manager due to his lack of transparency and clarity in communicating the method for parking and possibly the costs. Initially, he had offered us a private spot, but then we used one of the public spaces reserved for residents. For this use, we paid 10% on the final bill. At check-in, we were not thoroughly informed about this option, but we found the expense on the final bill. For us, it was a lack of correctness, respect, and transparency towards the customer.

Come ben vi ricorderete, ci siamo sentiti più volte al telefono in sede di prenotazione in quanto non riuscivate a formalizzarla attraverso il portale. Già al telefono avevamo avuto occasione di commentare, su vostra precisa domanda, il "tema" del parcheggio con mie esaustive info sulle due tipologie di parcheggio a 15 o 12 euro a seconda del parcheggio. Voi avevate prenotato un box al costo di 15 euro a notte. Al vostro arrivo, tuttavia, essendoci un posto di fronte alla veranda negli spazi pubblici SOLO PER RESIDENTI ma fruibili con uno dei nostri pass (altrimenti NON fruibili) avete accettato questa seconda soluzione (tra l'altro ad un costo inferiore di 12 euro a notte, come detto, commentato al telefono). Pertanto, consentitemi di respingere al mittente la accusa di non essere trasparente nei confronti degli ospiti e tanto più rispettoso. Avete comunque utilizzato una delle nostre facility di parcheggio il cui costo vi era certamente stato rappresentato al pari del box (come e' mia consuetudine fare quando spiego I nostri servizi di parcheggio). Gentilissima Monia, grazie della sua recensione che, fortuna per noi, si pone assolutamente come eccezione rispetto ad una regola consolidata: 9.1 su 10 dopo oltre 200 recensioni Siete stati nostri ospiti in una serata soltanto e molto particolare (la Stella Maris) caratterizzata da un numero incredibile di afflusso turistico, un pò di rumore ci poteva anche stare, non trova? Del resto avete scelto voi la nostra struttura in centro per una serata notoriamente molto movimentata, lamentarsene non mi sembra molto onesto. Sul caldo, beh, ad agosto è normale che faccia caldo. il 95% dei nostri ospiti si trova a proprio agio con il funzionalissimo ventilatore a soffitto. La prossima volta optate per settembre ottobre oppure per una struttura con aria condizionata. Le posso assicurare che il prezzo (tra l'altro, comprensivo del parcheggio già alle 11 del mattino quando, di regola, il check in è alle 15. 00) è in assoluto uno dei più bassi in zona. Grazie Claudio. PS vorrei tuttavia congedarmi con questa riflessione. Sono certo che la stessa camera, magari a fine settembre, con meno gente e meno rumori, vi farebbe lasciare una opinione tutt'altro che negativa. Good location, unfortunately no parking but the manager allowed me to park my car in his garage, a bit far to reach on foot but free. The room, part of a former condominium, is not very large. It doesn't have air conditioning or a fridge, and with this heat it's not ideal.

Non capisco quando dice "mancanza di parcheggio" quando invece l'ho fatta parcheggiare, accompagnandola personalmente, in uno dei nostri box dedicati alla struttura distante solo tre minuti a piedi. E' specificato chiaramente che la nostra struttura non ha aria condizionata ma dei bellissimi ed efficientissimi ventilatori a soffitto proprio sopra il letto, la prossima volta che prenota un soggiorno abbia cura di selezionare una struttura più indicata sotto questo punto di vista. Infine, nelle camere abbiamo dei mantenitori di temperatura e, se non erro, le abbiamo fornito gratuitamente tre bottiglie di acqua fresca...ma cosa più importante, dica alla sua Signora che e' buona e basilare educazione salutare quando si lascia la struttura, grazie, Claudio

Very hospitable and helpful host, excellent reception and availability in explaining the possible activities to do in the area. Parking available at 10 euros/day, which is excellent considering that the place is in a ZTL. Perhaps slightly expensive price, but it is a great convenience. The breakfast is rich and of quality, with focaccia and croissants already on the table and a wide choice between sweet and savory.

Rooms in an apartment in a condominium with an elevator located at the end of the town, opposite to the station, still within walking distance. It is very close to the boarding areas, right above the small harbor accessible by a staircase. The room cleanliness is excellent. Breakfast is served and the menu includes a good selection, including fresh orange juice. The WiFi didn't work for both days (and I didn't promptly report it). The price (140 euros per night) seemed frankly too high to me: I understand we are in Camogli but...

Small Bed and Breakfast well located at the entrance of Camogli coming from Recco. 15 minutes walk from the station. Our room had a very pleasant sea view; unfortunately, being the structure on the street, the traffic could be heard at night. The room was small but had all the necessary amenities; the bathroom in the hallway was a bit small and uncomfortable. The manager is friendly but has a somewhat "edgy" character. Nevertheless, we were able to ask for some information about the trails we wanted to hike.

Excellent solution in the center of Camogli. Good breakfast and clean rooms with everything you need. We had the room with an external private bathroom and we were satisfied (the bathroom was windowless, but not small as often happens in other places). There is the possibility to use the structure's garage for a fee, which can be very useful given the parking issues in Camogli. Also ideal to reach from the station. We were truly satisfied.

On Claudio's advice, the owner, we booked the triple room with double sea view window, and what a view! The breakfast... a gem! We stayed in Camogli for just one night. The host Claudio is very welcoming, attentive, kind, and helpful, friendly. The room was welcoming and had everything you need for a great stay. The spectacular view makes it all worth it. We really appreciated the breakfast served with fresh, excellent, and quality products. Excellent orange juice freshly squeezed in front of the guests' eyes by Claudio who doesn't let you miss anything and is always prompt and attentive. We stayed for three nights at this very charming bed and breakfast just above the harbor of Camogli. The owner of the property welcomed us, showing us the various hiking trails in the area and giving us tips on the typical local places. We had a great time in the very cute room with a sea view, very comfortable bed, and impeccable cleanliness. The cherry on top: the delicious breakfast (local products like Genoese focaccia are always available) is served on the veranda with a splendid view of the harbor. Congratulations, it's rare to find a place where you feel pampered like at Al Piccolo Scoglio.

Off-season seaside getaway. Claudio, the owner, was fantastic. He agreed to change the reservation on the spot due to a last-minute problem, welcomed us with a smile and a parking pass in front of the B&B at no cost. He provided excellent guidance on what to do and where to eat. Clean, spacious, and warm room. Available kettle with tea and coffee. Spacious and welcoming room, well cleaned and equipped with the necessary (minibar, kettle, blankets, television) and a fabulous view of the sea and the lighthouse of Camogli, bathroom with window, but what certainly makes Al Piccolo Scoglio Room & Breakfast unique and why I highly recommend it to families with children are the kindness and friendliness of Claudio and his wife and the accuracy of the services (bathroom on the ground floor with changing table complete with moistened wipes and a stool for children to reach the sink). I had a great time.

A structure located in a strategic position, close to the train station. The overnight stay also included covered garage spaces located 100 meters from the property. The cleanliness is impeccable, as well as the rich and abundant breakfast. However, I believe the strong point is the friendliness of the owners, very helpful both during the booking process and in providing directions to reach the B&B, as well as during breakfast. I highly recommend it to those who want to have a romantic getaway, perhaps even organized at the last minute.

The location is good considering that Camogli is full of ups and downs of stairs. The photo does not correspond to the room where we stayed. The external bathroom left us a bit dismayed. Gentilissimo Elio, ha detto proprio bene, la prossima volta dovreste esser più accorti, sul mio profilo è tutto trasparente (con foto anche panoramiche) e il bagno privato esterno (tengo nuovamente a precisare, a due metri dalla camera, NON è in condivisione ma è dedicato agli ospiti della camera in via esclusiva) è decisamente segnalato al pari di tutte le nostre condizioni. Pertanto il suo rilievo lascia piuttosto perplesso il sottoscritto perché fa passare per negativo un particolare (peraltro caratteristico delle vecchie case camogliesi e molto apprezzato) che tutti hanno la possibilità di conoscere anzitempo. Ovviamente ben si astiene dal menzionare il parcheggio in ZTL davanti alla nostra veranda per tutto il vostro soggiorno, la ricca prima colazione del mattino, il check out tardivo alle ore 12.00 (quando la media delle strutture indica le 10.30) e la nostra totale disponibilità. B&B a bit spartan but clean. Great location that allows you to have breakfast every morning with a sea view. The owner is kind and helpful for information and recommendations. He also takes care of finding a parking space for the car. Ideal for short stays. Camogli is a truly beautiful place rich in colors and atmospheres.

We highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast for the excellent location of the structure and for the welcoming owners. Upon our arrival, we were given all the necessary information to visit Camogli and the surroundings, it was very convenient to leave the car and be a stone's throw from the center and the port. The room is cozy and informal, charming and with a beautiful sea view, we will gladly return! Al Piccolo Scoglio Room & Breakfast.

Grazie Manuela, Come già specificato per le vie telefoniche, l'assenza di colazione è stata decisa in via del tutto eccezionale durante le festività (con un abbassamento delle tariffe). Riapriremo a pieno regime dal 1 febbraio 2019 con la nostra ricchissima colazione dalla veranda vista mare Claudio.

We stayed at this Al Piccolo Scoglio Room & Breakfast for three days, and we feel like recommending it. Rooms are small and modest, external bathroom in the corridor where other guests' rooms also face. Impeccable cleanliness, good and abundant breakfast, really very nice and helpful manager. Definitely favorable quality/price ratio, especially considering that breakfast is served on a veranda overlooking the sea. Many thanks to Claudio for hosting us, we will be back!

Al Piccolo Scoglio is located at the top of the staircase that starts from the harbor of Camogli, easy to reach and very close to all the most beautiful places. The breakfast room overlooks the road that opens onto the gulf. The breakfast was adequate. Claudio is very kind, very helpful and attentive. There were no problems in accepting our two dogs. The room and the separate bathroom, however, were very very small, to the point of being uncomfortable (fortunately we stayed only one night) and in my opinion do not justify the price, excessive even for June.

Grazie per il commento. Stanze piccole ma così confortevoli se ne trovano poche a Camogli, mi creda e davvero non mancava nulla anzi. Certo che venite in due con due cani, lo spazio può esser un po' piccolo. Circa il fatto del bagno separato dalla stanza, beh, nulla posso sulla soggettività della percezione. Di sicuro vi si era stato detto e potevate certamente declinare sapendo che vi avrebbe dato fastidio. Francamente respingo al mittente il 6 per la pulizia, MAI preso in oltre 400 recensioni della mia struttura, anzi esattamente il contrario. Ovviamente nulla dite sul late check out, sul parcheggio privato e gratuito al lato della veranda, con la macchina lasciata li sino alle 15, in pratica è come se aveste pagato 1 giorno e 1/2 la stanza, ma questo dettaglio al gentile pubblico e mondo di B&B. it non interessa.

I spent the December 8th long weekend in Camogli to then visit the Genoa Aquarium and we had a great time in this B&B. There were 5 of us and we were comfortable and truly satisfied in our room. The sea view is beautiful; the breakfast excellent and the kids' corner in the veranda very convenient! I recommend it.
