Excellent location, very friendly host, cute balcony in old Italy style! The bathroom was a bit too small and the sound isolation was not the greatest, however I would recommend staying there! Very cozy and comfortable.

I had a great stay at B&B Zen Trastevere. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The full bathroom was nice and had updated furnishings. The balcony was a perfect place to spend the morning eating the breakfast they offered.

Non ho capito bene dove il cliente non e riuscito ad entrare. La colazione non e assolutamente vero che e solo caffe e prodotti da forno che immagino si riferisca ai cornetti e merendine pre confezionate, abbiamo anche: Afettati tipo prosciutto cotto oppure salame, formaggio a fette, burro, marmellata, nutella, yogurt, a pane per toast. come ripeto non e una colazione da albergo a 4 stelle ma non paghi nemmeno 400 euro a notte, i cliento anno pagato 65 euro a notte per la camera, che cosa si pretende? Noi abbiamo 2 camere della stessa tipologia, le 2 camere sono identiche ma solo con colori diversi, in fase di prenotazione non si puo scegliere il colore della camera ma solo la tipologia, ovviamente in base alle prenotazioni assegnamo quella disponibile, purtroppo vedo che questa cosa non e ben compresa.

The room was smelly (musty smell). Breakfast is a joke, with prepackaged meals. By Sunday morning, the coffee capsules were also sold out. There was no cleaning during the 3 nights spent there. The toilet paper was not replaced either. The heating does not work during the day, so it was quite cold in the room.

Solo poche settimane fa abbiamo terminato alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione molto importanti, abbiamo rifatto nuovo tutto l'ingresso e tutta la zona cunina oltretutto all'interno delle 2 camere con il balcone abbiamo ristrutturato I bagni, mi sembra molto strano ci fose odore di muffa, forse il cliente si e confuso con odore di vernice fresca. Per quanto riguarda la colazione e molto importante la comunicazione, noi sisamo sempe a disposizione, se le cialde finiscono basta chiederlo, purtroppo alcuni clienti anno grossi problemi di comunicazione. Come oramai ripeto da anni per legge non possiamo offrire prodotti freschi ma solo pre confezionati, non e una colazione bufett da Hotel 4 stelle ma sinceramente e molto onesta, a parte i prodotti pre confezionati tipo cornetti, merendine etc... nel frigo abbiamo affettati, formaggio, yogurt, burro, succo, latte, poi abbiamo pane per toast Nutella, marmellata, vari tipi di Tea ovviamente Caffe La pulizia delle camere e possibile su richiesta gratis, noi lo diciamo sempre al check in ma forse o ci siamo dimenticati di dirlo al cliente (puo capitare) oppure il cliente non ha capito. Riscaldamento, apparte il termosifone centralizzato che ha determinato orari le camere dispongono di un climatizzatore che funziona anche con aria calda, ancora una volta sarebbe bastato chiedere invece di morire di freddo, le lamentele postume non servono a nessuno, basta solo comunicare.

It would increase the overall experience significantly if you would step up the quality of breakfast. The coffee was good. The fruit was nice, however, the fruits were very old the first two days. Buy less and fresh more often. Also, fresh bread and croissants would have been nice instead of plastic wrapped and white toast bread.

The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the check-in process was easeful. There was active mold growing in the tiny shower. The location was great and within walking distance to many restaurants. The easiest way to get there from the airport is by taxi, and they primarily take cash payment.

The location, value, air conditioning, and safety of this property were all great, however there are a few things I would have liked to have known prior to booking. 1. It is advertised as having a washing machine in the common space, however the washing machine is for their staff only, you cannot use it. The washer was one of the main reasons we booked this place so that was a bit of a let down. 2. You cannot flush the toilet paper, you have to throw it in the trash. 3. The bathroom smelled horrible, every time you flush you smell the sewer line. 4. The shower did not drain.

Vorrei chiarire alcuni punti di questa recensione. 1) non e scritto da nessuna parte che la lavatrice può essere utilizzata dagli ospiti, se chiesto e questa cliente non c'è l'ha chiesto, io consiglio sempre una lavanderia a monete molto vicino al b&b dove c'è la possibilità di lavare e asciugare, che e molto più comodo della nostra piccola lavatrice. 2) non e vero che non si può buttare la carta igienica nel water, se chiesto e questa cliente non c'è l'ha chiesto, avremmo risposto che i nostri water sono elettrici (sanitrit) e quindi collegati ad un trituratore e pompa, per non bloccare le ventole del trituratore sì può utilizzare Solo la carta igienica, purtroppo con tanto di cartelli a carattere cubitale e con tanto di foto, qualche cliente non curante ci butta le salviettine di stoffa imbevute creando tantissimi problemi. 3) se veniamo avvisati che ci sono cattivi odori dal water e sempre nostra premura igienizzarlo a dovere, in questo caso non siamo stati avvertiti dalla cliente. 4) e stato detto alla cliente che essendo la doccia come il water collegata a una pompa, non ha lo stesso tempo di drenaggio di una doccia con scarico diretto, mi sembrava di essere stato chiaro ma forse la cliente non ha capito bene il funzionamento.

Excellent location, cozy and clean, building a little old but everything working fine, simple and fast check-in. Daily cleaning if requested. Host available 24 hours for any need like when we needed to open the gate and there was a broken key inside.

Breakfasts is not enough. There should be eggs, salads, greens, some kind of cheese, honey, etc. So I did my breakfast outside every day.

The property is a good choice if you want to save some money on your accommodation while in Rome. It is a few steps away from Trastevere and a short walk from the city center. The tram and bus stop right in front of the door, so it is very accessible. However, the toilet has a pungent smell, and you are not allowed to shower after 11 pm due to the noise and thin walls. Overall, an acceptable stay due to the location, but it feels a bit "cheap" overall.

Hi. Very clean and large rooms. Very helpful owners and the only time we had a problem was when we arrived and using the instructions for entry and the keys we had a little problem but Davide, the owner, soon helped. Very friendly and the breakfast was help yourself and there was always plenty of choice in terms of croissants, bread for toasting, cheese, meats, yogurts, tea and coffee, juice and fruit.

The Zen Trastevere B&B is a lovely and affordable property for anyone visiting Rome. It is clean, friendly, and quiet even though it is located in the hippest neighborhood. I was traveling alone and Davide and his sister were very communicative and accommodating even when I had to change my arrival date twice (for administrative reasons). I will highly recommend it to friends and family coming to Rome! Grazie!

The host was very helpful during the stay. He helped us connect with the airport for a lost luggage, helped us with the transportation from the airport to the B&B. In general, very nice hosts and attentive to all you need. The location is perfect, and the B&B is right what you need for a quiet and clean stay. I will definitely recommend, and if I'm back, I will choose this place again.

I spent a few days in Europe and this accommodation was one of my favorites, especially because of how comfortable and well-located it was. Connecting with the buses was super easy, and being right in one of the busiest areas of Trastevere was a big plus. I felt safe at all times. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and I loved that it had furniture to place the suitcases —something I didn't find in other places, even though they were good too. Ideal if you want to explore Rome, because you will be strategically located.

Excellent place, the manager helped us even before our arrival to find the place, it is very simple. The room we got was spacious, clean, and had a balcony. The B&B is located near the main services, taxi stand, pharmacy, etc., but its weaknesses are: - lack of bidet - lack of a wardrobe - air conditioning hot/cold not working - balcony used as a storage room.

Nel ringraziare la nostra ospite vorrei precisare alcuni punti. -Abbiamo 3 camere solo una Ha il bidet, purtro I bagni delle alre due camere sono troppo piccoli per poter inserire un bidet. -non c'e un armadio classico ma bensi un appendi abiti creato dietro lo specchio che funge da armadio, forse la cliente non se ne accorta, bastava chiedere. -il condizionatore caldo/freddo funziona perfettamente, se c'erano problemi bastava chiedere. -in uno dei 2 balconi viene utilizzato un piccolo spazio dove teniamo del materiale e ovviamente coperto e non incide nell completo utilizzo del balcone da parte degli ospiti.

Structure with some things to review. We encountered some issues, starting from the poor almost non-existent cleanliness both in the room and in the common areas, sewer odor problems in the bathroom, poor breakfast, small quantities compared to the people present in the structure, we recommend to the managers not to include it in the reservation... Despite this, it is necessary to praise the availability that Mr. Davide had and how he went out of his way to help us solve the problems we encountered...

We had a great time, especially very calm. The bed is comfortable and the room very quiet and spacious. We had read that the breakfast did not have a high score, but we liked it. The bread and sandwiches are from the supermarket, but there is a toaster, dairy products of all kinds, cheeses, sausages, juices, coffee, tea, and jams.

Unfortunately, the lack of a bidet in the bathroom and the breakfast with packaged products have significantly lowered the score regarding the quality/price ratio. The contacts with the manager, on the other hand, were excellent.

I had requested a reservation at Zen Trastevere, but they accommodated me at Zoe, no problem as they are on the same landing. There is no bidet, which is unusual for us Italians, and there is no TV. As for breakfast during the pandemic, it consists of a voucher for a classic croissant and coffee to be consumed at the bar below, but beware on Sunday morning (on other days I don't know) because it opens at 8, so if you need to leave early, as it happened to me, you will find it closed. CONCLUSION: It would all be fine if it had been communicated, given that there were specific questions.
