We had a lovely stay at Villa Matissa. Fairly close to everything, but not in the craziness of everything. Our host Silvio was a great communicator and met us at the property to walk us through everything. He even arranged for transportation to the airport for us. The back garden was lovely to sit and relax with a book and glass of prosecco. The Villa had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. For your information, the booking website gives the option to include breakfast with your stay, but it is not included. Would definitely recommend Villa Matissa.

Silvio was fantastic! The property is lovely and we felt right at home instead of being at a hotel. It was refreshing to come to our Italian home after a long day of walking and touring wonderful Rome.

Spotlessly clean, wonderful garden to have breakfast. Silvio and his staff very friendly and helpful. Bus stop outside door and 3-minute walk to tram line. If Rome was as clean as this hotel, it would be perfect.

Just beautiful, perfectly located just on the outskirts of Trastevere and quiet. The gardens are a beautiful and peaceful place in which to have breakfast. Silvio, Monica, and Francoise are just so friendly and accommodating. Stay here you will not be sorry.

My family and I reserved all 5 rooms available at Villa Matissa. The owner Silvio and his staff greeted us with such warmth and were absolutely amazing. The rooms were immaculately clean and of high standard. A splendid breakfast was prepared for us each morning and served in the beautiful and breathtaking gardens surrounding the property. The property is within walking distance to transport and also to the amazing nightlife and restaurants available in the area.\n\nI have no hesitation in returning to this property upon my next visit to Rome/Trastevere, and I would highly recommend it to my friends and anyone wanting to stay there.\n\nCathy Ortisi.

A beautiful Villa with garden in Trastevere. Quiet. Clean. Stylish. Breakfast in the garden with fountain. 20 minutes walk to the old town through the beautiful Trastevere district with many cafes and restaurants or by bus and tram (1.50 euro ticket valid for 100 minutes). Friendly owner. Highly recommended.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast very well cared for and immersed in the greenery of the characteristic Trastevere, very clean and welcoming. Courteous and helpful managers. Breakfast with few but excellent products.

Great welcome and availability of Mr. Silvio in providing suggestions and directions to facilitate the visit to the city. Cleanliness and care of the rooms made the stay pleasant. Ideal location for the proximity to Trastevere life and the use of public transport.
