Our B& B is located in an area of great archaeological and architectural merit, in the heart of the city. "Folia" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a period building where echoes of the past blend with modern comfort.

Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to for shopping, enjoy and buy local artisan products, explore tradition and culture along your own delicious fine food and wine trail, catch cultural events and exhibitions, enjoyable long walks in the many gardens and stunning surrounding countryside.
Close by our guests will find several monuments and famous places, sports and fitness centres for working out on holiday. Any football fans can catch their team playing at nearby stadiums 'Stadio Olimpico di Roma', 'Stadio Flaminio di Roma'.

The location makes our facility ideal for moving around the city on the metro (Metro A - Cipro, Metro A - Lepanto, Metro A - Ottaviano. . .).

The breakfast is Italian-style and self-service. It includes a variety of packaged and safe products, to prevent any type of food waste, such as coffee pods, instant coffee and tea bags, various flavored herbal teas, chamomile tea, pastries, small tarts, toasted bread slices, bread, fruit juices, yogurt, jams, honey, biscuits, cereals, milk, butter and upon request, we provide specific products for those with dietary intolerances. All products are always available.

The location was fantastic - close to the metro station and in a central and lovely neighborhood by the Vatican. It was more of a local, less touristy neighborhood which we enjoyed. The host Chiara was fantastic and a fast responder. She gave some really amazing food and restaurant recommendations. We tried several and were not disappointed at all.

The property was great, very easy to find and well located, close to the Vatican City and centre of Rome and the metro. The host was very friendly and helpful. The only issues we had was that our room backed onto the kitchen area and some of the other people staying were quite noisy both at night and in the morning. We also were unaware that the breakfast was self serve and there was not much provided (yoghurts, juice, cereal, coffee, tea, milk). On our booking we stated that one of us was gluten free but this was not accommodated for.

Folia in Rome is a true gem! Just 10 minutes walk from Vatican City and near the metro, its location is superb, making exploring Rome easy and convenient. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a warm, friendly environment.\n\nEvery part of Folia was spotless and beautifully decorated, making it a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing. A special touch was the focus on eco-friendly items, showing a thoughtful consideration for the environment.\n\nFor me, staying at Folia was like enjoying the luxury of a 4-star hotel. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely return whenever I visit Rome again!

We have spent a great time at Folia. Chiara has welcomed us well and the room had a lot of charm. The only thing during our stay was our neighbors who arrived late at night and made a lot of noise. We highly recommend staying at Folia for your trip to Rome.

We had a very pleasant stay at Folia! We loved the aesthetic and cleanliness of the apartment. It is strategically situated just a few minutes from Saint Peter and Ottaviano metro station. Chiara is a wonderful and very helpful host, with many suggestions for local dining and sightseeing. We will definitely come back to Folia in our next trip!

The place is well designed and looks exactly like the photos. It is in a very old building dating back to 1889, but the apartment is renovated and air-conditioned, which is great and also well organized. There is a lift in the building. I met Chiara, the host, who is very friendly and helpful. She always asks if you need anything. She comes every day to check that everything is okay. She also speaks English very well. In the kitchen, you can find a coffee maker, oven, cutlery, and fridge. The room is medium-sized, with a TV and a table with two chairs, a unique wardrobe, but the bathroom is very tight. The location is great in via Ottaviano itself, which means you are near a few steps from the Vatican and also a few steps from metro line A.

The B&B Folia is top. We spent 2 great nights there. Federico warmly welcomed us, sharing his good addresses for enjoying Rome. The accommodation was clean, bed sheets and towels are provided. One small downside, the breakfast is not fresh, for me who loves traditional "dolce" it is still complete. I recommend!

Chiara is a very kind and warm person. We felt very comfortable right away. Her open and accommodating manner really impressed us. The rooms are very rustic and the atmosphere is top-notch. The location is absolutely remarkable. In 10 minutes at the Vatican and great restaurants and shops nearby. When visiting Rome again, we will definitely book with Ciara again. From the beginning, we felt comfortable here. A very kind operator, who takes the time to give tips about the city and excursions. The location is optimal: only a 5-minute walk to the Vatican. The rooms are very nice, stylish and modernly furnished, so you can really feel comfortable. If you seek the feeling of living right in the heart of Rome, this is the place.

Folia is a wonderful tourist room apartment just a few steps from the Vatican City. Its minimalist and environmentally friendly decoration and the attention of its owner, Chiara, are exceptional! They even provide you with a PDF with very interesting information about the gastronomic offer in the area. I would definitely stay with them again, I loved the feeling of living with Roman locals in a beautiful and well-maintained building! Even the retro elevator is cool! Congratulations, couple!

Hello Adriana, thanks for your great review. I can only answer to your little note because it is not correct. So sorry to read them and I really don’t understand why. We offer (included in the price) juices, milks, yogurts, butter, sweets with or without chocolate, bread and fette biscottate, coffee and different teas/camomile. Also the kitchen has a fully equipped kitchen and a very large fridge.

Well-maintained structure down to the smallest details and steps away from Piazza Risorgimento, an excellent area to visit Rome, full of shops and services. Large and comfortable rooms meticulously cared for. Very kind landlady who made sure we lacked nothing. Kitchen available and breakfast with coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, milk, toast, biscuits, and brioches, all in single-use packages and the option to consume in the room.

I booked the structure for my wife and her cousins who came from different parts of Italy to spend a carefree few days together, everything was perfect, the structure was clean and comfortable for getting around, Chiara was always available, I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in the Eternal City.

Location detailed in the details, all very clean and perfect area to explore Rome even on foot. St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums are just a 5-minute walk away, with a 20-minute walk you can reach Trastevere or even Piazza Navona. If you don't feel like walking, the A metro is just around the corner and is very convenient for reaching Termini station or San Giovanni. Highly recommended.

Located in a very convenient area for the presence of the metro and all bus lines to reach any area of Rome. Chiara is extremely available for any need or suggestion regarding restaurants, sightseeing tips, etc. Breakfast is served in the room due to COVID, but it's really rich. Excellent cleanliness, perfect air conditioning, top Wi-Fi. If I go back to Rome, that will be my definite base.

The stay was very pleasant, the structure is located in an elegant ancient building on the central Via Ottaviano, the apartment is renovated according to ecological criteria, the environments are healthy and very clean, the room comfortable. Strategic position to reach the Vatican and the historic center, by foot or with the Metro a stone's throw away. Chiara is very kind and helpful, her tips for visiting the city and eating are very much appreciated. Folia will be a reference point for the next times in Rome.

Perfect welcome; the kindness and availability of the owners Chiara and Federico is incredible. Excellent breakfast and comfortable, clean, and sanitized room. The cherry on top is the B&B "FOLIA" is located 3 minutes from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican Museums as well as via Cola di Rienzo, excellent for shopping and close to the Metro stop "OTTAVIANO". Conclusion: I will return as soon as possible.

Lovely bed and breakfast literally a stone's throw away from the Vatican Museums. The rooms have been tastefully renovated, inspired by nature with wood, terracotta floors, and brick ceilings, not by chance it's called Folia. Chiara's hospitality and availability were fantastic, accommodating us for a late check-in. Great experience, beautiful weekend, we will definitely come back!

I travel a lot and I'm not used to leaving comments, but these guys really deserve it from the heart! Despite arriving later than expected, we were immediately greeted with a smile by Federico and Chiara. They showed us around the city providing us with a very useful map, and gave us a very valid list of restaurants they suggested... we practically felt pampered from the very first moment and throughout the whole vacation. Our room was spacious, cozy, and above all very original and design-oriented. The daily cleaning (and I would add impeccable) made us feel even more protected. The area is super central and very well served by public transport. Guys, you did a great job! Thanks again for everything, we will definitely see you again very soon!

The 'blue' room is a real gem. Essentially furnished, clean, with the exposed ceiling that gives it an extra touch. Being able to manage the keys and the breakfast buffet at any time of the day was an added value for me. The location is strategic both for its proximity to the Vatican and for the possibility of reaching other tourist spots in the city by metro, bus, or on foot.
