This property was perfect! It is in such a good location. Being only 15 minutes from the Vatican, 15 from Piazza Navona, 20 minutes from the Spanish Steps. The property is tucked away in a quiet street that can easily access busses and taxi services. The breakfast is really good as well and is only right across the street. The AC worked well, it just had a timer that we needed to turn off so the AC would run throughout the whole night, but it’s very easy to do. The host was very kind and helped us bring our bags up to the room and gave us a map to help orient us to the area. If I was given the chance to come back, I would absolutely stay here again!

The Marta Guest House has everything you need for your stay in Rome. Its location is perfect - across the street from the bus stop, which can take you wherever you need to go, including the airport, and it is just across the river from the main bustling streets of downtown Rome, which made for a quick walk to everything while still being quiet at night. The owners were fantastic and willing to help with whatever you might need. The building and room were very clean, and I felt safe leaving my things there. The included breakfast is the traditional pastry and coffee beverage from a cafe across the street, which had good food and espresso, but the staff left something to be desired. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next visit and couldn't recommend it more.

Our stay at Marta guest house was wonderful. The host was so friendly and helpful and getting in and out of the building was a delight. They have giant doors to the property that you can operate automatically with a key. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We were a short walk from the busier sections of the city and very conveniently located for local bus lines as well at the bus to and from the airport. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Rome.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Rome! The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from all the major attractions. The host was welcoming and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome.

The staff is very accessible, polite and nice. The location is perfect as you can reach the main attractions on foot and it is near a square where you can take buses to all regions in Rome and directly to the airport (airport shuttle). Unfortunately, the room we stayed in needs maintenance (especially the bathroom). Nevertheless, considering the price, staff, and location, I would recommend this guesthouse.

Great location, close to Castel St. Angelo and the Vatican, walking to most sites was possible. The SIT bus to the airport was just around the corner. The real highlight was the team at Marta Guest House, who thought of absolutely everything. We definitely would stay there again. Thanks.

Centrally located, easy access with the airport bus. Some street noise and a very small bathroom. But shutters kept out the noise, and air conditioning and heating worked well. Breakfast is at a cafe on the square. Lively and Italian, i.e., coffee and croissant. I would go back and walk through Rome from there.

We had an excellent stay at Martha Guest House. Ovidio was very kind and gave us excellent advice. The room is spacious, cleaned every day. The location is perfect, close to the center. We did all our visits on foot. We recommend this place for a good stay in Rome with our eyes closed!

Well located, spacious and air-conditioned room with a small fridge, it's great. For breakfast, it's a shame that the Gran cafe wasn't very friendly and only offered us a croissant... it's far from what is considered plentiful. So we had breakfast elsewhere.

The Marta Guest House is super nice, located near Piazza Cavour. Recommended, a beautiful short walk from the accommodation to the Engelburg and then to St. Peter's Square. You can reach Piazza Navona on foot in about 10 minutes, as well as the Spanish Steps. Ovidio gave me very good restaurant tips and "introduced" me to the Roman bus system. He was always friendly and you could ask him anything. Thank you for that. I can only recommend the Marta Guest House and Rome is an incredibly diverse and fascinating city.

Small and affordable guesthouse in an old palazzo with a genuine Roman feeling: antique furniture, nothing luxurious, but wonderful helpful people who assist you with advice and action. The guesthouse is located directly in Prati, in a district with flair in the midst of the action where even the locals feel at home: shopping, small trattorias, cinemas, artist cafes,.. and all the tourist attractions are within walking distance: Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese.. and of course the Colosseum. I hope to come back to Rome soon and will definitely stay at the Marta Guest House again.

My experience was good thanks to the attention of the manager, a true tour guide. Very valuable information for navigating the points of interest and transportation. The accommodation is very close to bus stops, especially the one that goes to Fiumicino Airport. A bit far from the subway. The rooms are clean and comfortable, recommended in relation to the price.

Although the structure is retro and needs a good restyling, it enjoys an excellent location (next to Piazza Cavour, home of the Court of Cassation), especially for those like me who frequent the Supreme Court. I am also very satisfied with the courtesy and availability of the manager (Ovidio), who has always been kind and available for all my needs. I highly recommend it. Until the next stay.

Great location in the Prati district. Basic Italian breakfast at the nearby bar. Welcoming and available manager. I would improve some aspects of the structure: I would replace the bar soap with liquid soap and add a container for shower gel in the shower instead of the sachets.

A great place to stay. I chose to return and stay there to get our flight out of Rome and they were wonderful, giving me a late check out and helping me and my small children with our bags as I was very ill before our flight. It's a very convenient location and a charming hotel at a good price. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent welcome with a lot of information from Mr. Ovidio, who is always very helpful. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The structure is in a strategic position to visit the main attractions of Rome. Many bus lines are less than 100 meters away. The supermarket in front of the entrance door is also very convenient. Many excellent restaurants are just a few steps away, not to mention the ice cream shops.

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of June 2024, the property is in a great location. All the major city attractions can be easily reached on foot in a maximum of 15/20 minutes (except the Colosseum, which is further away). Just a few steps away (2 min) is the Bus Shuttle SIT stop to and from Fiumicino Airport or the city bus (direct lines without changes) to the historic center and/or the Colosseum. Right in front there is a small supermarket and nearby there are several restaurants. The area is very quiet and not very busy. The room is spacious and clean (daily cleaning) with TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, wardrobes, safe, and the bathroom was functional. The welcome was exceptional! The receptionist gave us a lot of information on transportation, activities, and nearby places. Possibility to purchase public transport tickets directly at the property. On both arrival and departure, we were able to leave our luggage at the reception. The breakfast included at Bar San Giusto consists of a drink plus a brioche (not abundant, but good).

Excellent location in the city, just a few hundred meters from Castel Sant'Angelo, St. Peter's. Comfortable room, lovely retro furnishings. The toilet facilities are concentrated in a square meter that is too narrow. I will definitely come back.

Simple and spacious rooms, private bathroom, first floor in a historic building, 1 minute walk from the Court of Cassation. Faces a one-way street and, therefore, the nighttime traffic noise is really minimal, considering it's in Rome. Very easy check-in, always courteous welcome, effective and perfect direct communication. Rooms equipped with everything necessary (fridge, hairdryer in the bathroom). For those looking for a simple accommodation without particular charm requirements.

Structure located in a convenient position for walking or using public transportation. Tourist attractions reachable in a short time. We were greeted fantastically by the manager Ovidio, a very nice person and available for any information or need. Highly recommended.

On Sunday, breakfast was not at 7:30 but at 8:00, we had to wait. Some furniture pieces are a bit old and worn out. The room is still quiet and of the right size for two. The Lepanto metro is about a 15-minute walk or an 8-minute bus ride, close stop. Strategic location for most things to see on foot both sides of the Tiber and convenient buses. Manager very helpful and courteous. Good value for money.

We stayed for two nights at the B&B Marta Guest House, where we found a truly helpful and kind manager. We thank Ovidio for his kindness and advice. Unfortunately, the structure does not live up to the staff... Our room, n. 3, had a window missing one of the two shutters to close, and the bathroom was very old and not well maintained. The cleanliness left something to be desired (we found only one almost finished toilet paper roll in the bathroom). The location is good, in 15 minutes on foot you can reach many points of interest, breakfast with cappuccino and brioches is in an adjacent bar. I don't know how the other rooms are, but ours didn't satisfy us much, I'm sorry.

If I could give more than 10, I would. A top-notch structure. Everything perfect both from the hygienic-sanitary point of view and in terms of the beauty of the well-furnished and clean rooms. Mrs. Marta is an exquisite person, very helpful to our needs, and collaborator Mr. Ovidio is ready for every request. My wife and I felt at home, pampered like family. Another strong point, no less important than the others, is the location. A stone's throw from many points of interest, which in Rome are not few. Congratulations for everything. We hope to return as soon as possible with great joy. Highly recommended.

We stayed from July 31st to August 5th and we had a great time. The room for 3 people was large enough for us to stay without many demands, clean with a minibar which was very convenient for us. The area allowed us to move around very well, having a bus in Piazza Cavour. In front of the property, there was a supermarket which was incredibly convenient for every need. The overnight stay was more than fine. The only little problem was the air conditioning that didn't cool, but these inconveniences can happen. In fact, Mrs. Marta kindly solved everything... When we arrived, we were welcomed by Mr. Ovidio, an exquisite person. We were very hot and he, without making us feel uncomfortable, welcomed us and invited us to rest in the room at our own pace... Both Ovidio and the owner, Mrs. Marta, made us feel at home, very kind indeed! Thank you, we will definitely see you again. I recommend it to those who want a family-like contact. Thank you again.

Very convenient location to visit the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo but also to reach the city center with a short walk. Clean and cozy room, including a small fridge. Much appreciated the cold water bottle offered upon arrival (1 per person). Manager very helpful for check-in time and information request. Breakfast available at the bar in the adjacent square with a voucher (hot drink and croissant). Small supermarket in front of the B&B entrance.

Excellent structure in a very convenient location in the center. Spacious and clean rooms, breakfast with everything you could desire for an Italian breakfast. Mrs. Marta welcomes you with a smile, the highlight of this place is definitely the kindness of the staff who as soon as you arrive give you all the information you may need during your stay in Rome, places to visit, best times to visit them, and even the means to get there. Everything is perfect.

The property located near Piazza Cavour right in front of the Court of Cassation, in the elegant Prati district, has a "strategic" position both for legal professionals (judges, lawyers, etc.) and for tourists who want to visit the city and its monuments, especially St. Peter's. The rooms are charming and welcoming, equipped with all comforts. Only downside: the shower head was full of limescale, so the water did not flow well! The breakfast, moreover, is not particularly well taken care of. To be retried on my next stay in Rome!

Three wonderful days. I recommend this Bed & Breakfast first of all for the courtesy and kindness of the managers. Secondly, the excellent location, well connected to the entire city, and the meticulous cleanliness of the premises should be highlighted. If you find yourself in the center of Rome, make a stop at Marta Guest House.
