Really nice place, extremely clean. Unfortunately, the mattress was so uncomfortable, it was very old and had many dents which made our stay a bit poor. Maybe the other rooms have a better mattress. The host was lovely and very friendly.

A simple but comfortable room in a modified apartment. Breakfast was a voucher for a croissant + coffee in a nearby shop. Not central, but conveniently close to a metro station. The host was helpful. I had a pleasant stay overall. It's certainly overpriced but it's Rome.

Very nice hosts who were very flexible with our late arrival and departure needs. The accommodation is very clean, nicely decorated and the AC in the bedroom was very welcome in this hot summer. Our bathroom was in the corridor but this was not a big issue: we crossed nobody during our 4-night stay. The location is quite good: very close to Garbatella nice areas and metro station. Around 15 minutes away from the Colosseum area. The main drawback of this accommodation was the noisy street sometimes, although it was OK in the middle of the night. Window noise insulation could be improved. Also the breakfast is just a coupon for a cappuccino and one pastry. If you prefer tea, you'll have to pay extra. Overall we would recommend this accommodation.

The apartment was very good, very clean, beds and bathroom very comfortable (good privacy). The host David was very kind, welcomed us very late, and always with a lot of kindness and courtesy. The street the room overlooks is a bit noisy at night and unfortunately I found not very quiet neighbors, but that obviously doesn't depend on the host. I will return!

We stayed here for three days. The manager is very kind and friendly. The room is identical to the photos, clean, tidy and very bright. There is also a mini fridge bar that can be used. The location is excellent as it is close to buses, metro and train station, and also due to the presence of supermarkets within a few meters. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to spend a few days in Rome in complete tranquility.

I stayed in this property for six consecutive days and fell in love with it. I met both David and Gloria and found them kind, helpful, and truly attentive to guests' needs. The property looks like a jewel box and you can see that nothing is left to chance. The environment is clean, welcoming, and meticulously cared for. The included breakfast is to be taken at a nearby affiliated bar (which is also a pastry shop, so they have an in-house laboratory and make delicious things). In the area, you can find everything: a pharmacy, bars, pizzerias, bakeries, Japanese restaurants, supermarkets, the metro. Absolutely recommended!

The manager David took care of me and all my needs. Kind in manner and polite, he was present when I arrived, explaining every detail of the room. Breakfast included at a 'partner' bar below the structure. Just steps from the apartment, there is a supermarket so you can't ask for more. David was so kind to leave the room for an extra 3 hours after check-in as the room was not booked to leave calmly. Excellent experience and highly recommended!

The apartment is cozy and in the room there is everything you need. For breakfast, a ticket is provided to use in the pastry shop right below the apartment. The location is right next to one of, I believe, the most beautiful and suggestive areas of Rome, Garbatella. I highly recommend it. The welcome was also very pleasant and the communication with the host excellent.

All in all, everything was fine, the only downside, for those who end up in the rooms facing the street, is a bit of morning noise due to the presence of supermarkets and street vendors. This could be solved by replacing the fixtures, the only thing that remained unchanged from the excellent renovation of the entire structure. I would recommend replacing the common internal door locks of the rooms, just for greater safety of the guests. The location is convenient for those traveling by car, given the presence, about 50 meters away, of a paid garage. For those on foot, the B Garbatella metro station is reachable in a few minutes.

Everything very good, convenient location with metro to move around Rome comfortably. The only low vote for the breakfast simply because it was not available on the premises but in a pastry shop nearby. Without taking anything away, I would have preferred to have it on the premises. The owner was very helpful with our questions.

Very suitable apartment for our needs, our room did not have an en-suite bathroom but privacy is still guaranteed in the use of the external bathroom (which is not shared with other rooms). The manager is kind and very helpful. Apartment very close to the metro. We recommend leaving the car as soon as you can park and not moving it anymore. The affiliated bar for breakfast is a good solution in the absence of kitchen/breakfast at home.

Perfect location for business or leisure trips in a lively and constantly evolving neighborhood, full of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and services. Just a stone's throw from metro line B, well connected to most areas of interest (not only the center of Rome and the train stations, but also EUR and Ostia). Clean rooms with all the comforts, just like being at home. Extremely kind and helpful owner, but not intrusive. Decent breakfast at the affiliated bar. Affordable price for the area and the period. Definitely worth considering for future stays in the capital.

I stayed for 4 days at the B&B La Pergamena, for a university update course. My boyfriend and I had a great time. The owner was very helpful, recommended the best restaurants in the area, explained how to get around, and allowed us to check-in upon our late arrival (not a given at all structures in the area). The rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent location of the property, very close to Garbatella metro station line B and the neighborhood is well served too. The breakfast at the bar downstairs was very good. I recommend everyone to stay at this B&B.

Hospitality and services were excellent, the location is not very central but well served by public transport. I am pleased with everything and I will definitely return to La Pergamena during my next stay in Rome. A small suggestion, if I may, please change the brand of soap and shower gel.

The structure is very pleasant and comfortable, very clean. The manager is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
