Il Lago di Nemi

In a perfect location for those who want to enjoy nature and be easily connected with the nearby towns, Il Lago di Nemi deserves a true 5-star review. Clean, brand new, organised and charmingly decorated. I spent 4 nights in November 2024 and had an amazing experience. The managers are impeccable: they receive you with a warm welcome, provide everything you need to feel comfortable and enjoy your time there. I was greeted by Alessia whose professionalism and hospitality knowledge can be found in every detail, from the decor to the functionality of the interior design. Giuseppe provided the best tips on the restaurants and Alessia on the walks around the lake. They are thoughtful people who have built a DREAM home for guests with a dazzling view and you can feel this is a place beyond the ordinary business: it is a genuine home away from home. Even though it was cold, I particularly enjoyed my morning coffee and the sunsets from the rooftop. The view and the feel were stunning! Also had good reading time in the sunny garden whilst sipping hot chocolate from their pretty convenient vending machine. Having travelled all around Europe, this is one of the places I am hoping to visit again: an adorable little gem of Lake Nemi. Thank you so much, Alessia & Giuseppe!

Owners, accommodation... everything perfect!

The Lago di Nemi is a brand new B&B. Giuseppe and Alessia make great efforts to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast is more than sufficient by Italian standards. Cake, jam, cold cuts, cheese, etc. all there. In good weather, breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace. Perfect! The beautiful garden equipped with sun loungers and parasol invites you to relax. Unfortunately, we had slightly changeable weather, so we couldn't fully enjoy the outdoor areas. Our room was adequate. We had a Classic room on the ground floor. There are a total of 5 rooms, 2 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. The only thing that could be improved is a few hooks to hang jackets in the room. The house is a bit noisy... when all rooms are occupied, it can be disturbing. Otherwise, everything is great! This B&B comes highly recommended.

We were looking for a quiet place where we could relax away from chaos and confusion, and the B & B Lago di Nemi turned out to be ideal. We also wanted to visit important archaeological and historical sites, and the proximity of the Museum of Roman Ships and the Sanctuary of Diana, just a stone's throw from the property, proved to be really strategic. It is also worth considering the closeness of the hill towns and the possibility of visiting the incredible Villa Adriana in Tivoli not far away. Other positive notes include the availability and spontaneous kindness of Giuseppe and Alessia, the scrupulous cleanliness of the rooms, and the excellent breakfast enjoyed on the terrace immersed in an extraordinary panorama.
