The apartment is beautiful, newly renovated, and perfectly located, close to almost everything on foot, and the neighbourhood has amazing bars and restaurants. It was actually our favorite neighbourhood! It had a Nespresso machine and hair dryer. Guido was a great host and we loved our stay.

Positive: Great location in Monti (good local bars and eateries) with easy access to Colosseum and other attractions. Guido was great at communicating everything we needed to know. We had the separate loft building which was...quirky. Negative: apartment was compact with a mezzanine floor for the bedroom with a very precarious staircase. All very well put together, but no handrail and quite narrow and steep. Not many amenities in the apartment (no proper kitchen) and it can be annoyingly noisy due to the occasional passing traffic and the upstairs neighbours scraping chairs across their floors.

The host of I Capocci was very nice and attentive. The location of the apartment was perfect, in the heart of Rome and close to anything and everything imaginable. The apartment was simple, quaint, and small but had basic amenities that you need for a few days. It does not provide hair products, only a single "liquid all-purpose" shower soap. Rome was very hot in August and the electricity was on and off a few times during our stay due to AC. The building is very old and it is not surprising that the electricity was unstable.

The location of this place is phenomenal. The design inside is absolutely stunning. It was absolutely perfect for me and my friend visiting Rome for the first time. Everyone was really kind, Guido was super attentive and responsive.

In general, the flat to sleep is bearable. The smell in the room was unpleasant, despite the ventilation and air conditioning. The flat was very damp, so much so that the bedding, clothes and everything that was material was damp, which was not very pleasant. There was also quite a lot of dust in the room, which for me as a person with allergies was a difficult experience.

Dear Jakub, I am very sorry that you had a bad experience which was probably linked to the extreme external weather conditions with more than 38 degrees centigrade and very high humidity. The Air Conditioning system was renovated one year ago and it is very efficient, but I believe ventilating the room with such external conditions means introducing lot of moisture which is hard to eliminate. In addition, the room was renovated just one week before and probably you could still smell the odor of the varnish. As you can read from the many other reviews, we are very keen in offering the best experience in each of our rooms (and for this reason we had just renovated it), but, given your high sensitivity and expectations, probably you should not choose our cheapest room next time.

Excellent location, very clean but it’s the tiniest place that I’ve ever been. No windows anywhere so there is no daylight, double bed upstairs, you physically need to go crawling as the steps are small. Toilet/shower room no room to turn, towels were more like sandpaper than towels, and we were told that this was an upgrade. You could hear your neighbors, felt like they were in our apartment. Would I go there again? No, would I recommend? NO.

dear Violeta, thanks for your feedback that will for sure help in how we will present our place to our guests. Yes, the room is small, but in line with general standards. I am surprised you are surprised: when selecting the room at the time of your booking you choosed the cheapest and smallest of our offering while you could have much more confortable options. As far as light is concerned, there is a 2 square meter glass door which ensure plenty of light. We probably did not explain sufficiently that you could keep the glass door sfely closed while opening the external wooden door. I wish you asked us during your stay! Yes, the change was an upgrade: as a matter of fact you had the bathroom inside the room while the room you paid for had it external, you had a private kitchen point with boiler and sink against nothing, you had a small fridge against nothing. However again thanks for your feedback, this was good learnig.

I Capocci is the perfect bed & breakfast if you want an adorable jumping off point to explore Rome. Guido was incredibly communicative and helpful when Delta canceled my flights twice and he adjusted the dates with no issues. I Capocci is a short 10-minute walk from Termini station. \n\nI stayed in the small apartment and was so delighted with the location. I Capocci is located at the quiet end of the street, as soon as you exit you can walk to the end of the street directly to restaurants, a small square and then to the larger Monti Square, it's the perfect location in Monti. To get to the rest of the historic center is a gorgeous walk through the Roman Forum. \n\nThe apartment itself was spotless, perfectly clean, with pressed towels, and a little book with all the Wi-Fi info. \n\nI am so glad we found I Capocci and we will be staying here the next time we are in Rome!

Our room at I Capocci was our best during our two-week stay in Italy. It is in a great location, within walking distance of all major attractions and train stations. Monti is a great neighborhood with fantastic restaurants and a genuine local vibe. The room was very clean and even had an AC unit that could be used until 11 PM. Guido met us upon arrival and gave us a very thorough overview of Rome and his personal recommendations on what to see and how to get there. We highly recommend it.

Amazing location with charming, cozy accommodations. Our host was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous, with a beautiful kitchen, delicious coffee, yummy breakfast served at 2 nearby cafes. 2 minutes walk to the metro and 10 to the Colosseum and other attractions. Awesome restaurants nearby. Cannot ask for more! I will definitely come back.

Wonderful B&B that was clean and in a fantastic neighborhood. I loved the area, which isn’t too close to Termini, but close enough where we had one short metro connection and a few minutes walk. The Colosseum and Roman Forum were maybe a ten minute walk. It was extremely clean and felt very welcoming and safe because of the heavy deadbolt locks throughout. The overall area felt very safe too, full of locals instead of tourists. My favorite part was the breakfast accommodations with the nearby restaurants. Each breakfast was plenty of food, juice and espresso that would easily be $10 per person without the arrangement. Overall great experience. The ONLY negative is that the bed wasn’t very forgiving, but I was so exhausted from roaming around each night I still slept hard.

Great location, easy to find and not too far from the station and the Colosseum (around 15 minutes walk for each), with excellent restaurants and shops nearby although some a little pricey. The area was quiet and safe and not overly touristy. We had the room where the bathroom was across the kitchen which was a little inconvenient but I think we got a cheaper rate which was fine. The bathroom was entirely our own and we didn't once bump into anyone else en route to the bathroom. The accommodation was very clean and nicely decorated throughout although our bedside tables were much lower than the bed which was a bit inconvenient and led to a couple of glasses getting knocked off by the bed covers. Had to wait a long time for Guido to let us in the property but once we were in he was very friendly and apologetic for the mix up and gave us lots of good advice on things to see and a very useful map. Breakfast was nice too at the nearby cafe.

Lovely character room in a nice B&B. Room was clean, tidy and safe. Communal areas were very good. Breakfast was provided by a choice of 2 nearby cafes. Both of which were very good. No more than 5 minutes walk from Cavour metro station which made it very handy. Airport to the B&B was about 90 minutes in total via train/metro. This was exactly what we were after as we only needed a room for a couple of nights and a place to come back and grab a nap in the afternoon on one day. Incredible location. Literally 60 second walk to via Serpenti and turn to the left to the the giant Colloseum a few blocks in front of you. Closer to a lot of big attractions than the streetmaps led us to believe. Many thanks to Guido for a great stay in such a beautiful city and his local knowledge was very helpful when it came to planning out few days in Rome. Grazie.

Very enjoyable stay at I Capocci. Guido was most helpful and always answered all our questions, and offered helpful suggestions. There are two off-site locations for breakfast, one of which offers a more substantial breakfast, and one of which is more of a quick coffee-pastry place. We chose the more substantial breakfast location and it was excellent, and quite nearby. Guido's suggestions were excellent. He was thorough in helping meet our tourism needs. The room was good size with a safe, a nice shower, and easy access to the common kitchen area which was very nice. The common kitchen was one of the best of the places we stayed in Italy. The only drawback to this property is that the air conditioning must go off from 11 PM to 7 AM, and Guido explained why. It just got a bit stuffy in the night, for our tastes. I would absolutely stay there again, though, without hesitation, with understanding about the air. Guido even gave us the cooler, downstairs room to help us stay cooled off.

Very nice atmosphere, the only thing that I missed is that the owner asked us one more time if we needed anything! Very central, but you also shouldn't be sensitive to noise! Next time I will gladly rent it!

The 'I Capocci' is located in a very good location and the manager is very attentive and correct. The cleanliness and order of the place stand out. However, my room (Giove) has some humidity, probably due to being located below street level. It has no windows, only a skylight from which you can see the sidewalk from below. In addition, there was a problem with the lock. The bathroom is complete but is located outside the room.

Excellent attention, room cleanliness, cleanliness, and common areas. Proximity to the center on foot or by subway (Cavour at 400 meters). Silence to rest in the room. Nespresso coffee in the morning and correct breakfast at a nearby café. Highly recommended for both couples and young children.

We were comfortable: we were two women,but the property is smaller than it appears in the photos. I think that for more than two people the stay would be uncomfortable. The miniloft's location is strategic for tourist sites and in the evening there are nice places nearby. Guido was very kind and attentive with us.

The structure is particularly recommended during the summer because most of the accommodation is located in a basement. This means that the environments are always fresh, although I have to say a bit humid. Having stayed there at the end of June, I am quite satisfied for these reasons. The owner is always kind and helpful, and the location is close to the main tourist attractions and the Cavour metro station.

Miniloft suitable for a maximum of 2 people but we were 3 adults. We arrive and find a very small sofa to accommodate one adult, not even suitable for a child. The metal parts of the sofa didn't let my son (a boy of 1.80m) sleep. We politely asked for a mattress to put on top or a topper and the answer was: "We don't have any! If you want, there are some blankets in the drawer of the double bed." I tried to manage the situation myself by putting the blankets I had on my bed and others found in the drawer. The moral: my son had to "sleep" with the metal parts of the sofa digging into his side for 2 nights. To top it off, the host didn't even bother to come and see how to resolve the problem but only remembered us on Sunday evening to come collect the money, entering the house without warning and finding my husband changing clothes. I've never... and I mean never experienced such a thing. I will certainly never set foot in this place again!

La camera è stata affittata molte volte a gruppi di 3 persone senza problemi con le ultime occasioni proprio nei giorni precedenti al vostro arrivo. Purtroppo qualcosa deve essersi rotto nel divano e, essendo stati avvisati solamente da lei e di domenica, non abbiamo avuto modo di reagire in giornata. Ovviamente interverremo per risolvere il danneggiamento in tempo per i prossimi ospiti. Come potrà constatare dalle numerose recensioni, ci teniamo a essere molto attenti alla soddisfazione dei nostri clienti e ci dispiace di non essere stati all’altezza della nostra reputazione in questo caso. Per questo motivo, non discuto assolutamente del suo disagio di cui mi scuso, ma mi consenta di precisare quanto segue: - Il divanetto si trasforma in un letto singolo largo 110 cm. Questo NON è un letto da bambino. - Alla sua richiesta, le ho indicato io la disponibilità di numerose coperte da utilizzare per cercare di alleviare il problema. Non ha dovuto trovarle da sola. - E’ normale che il saldo della permanenza venga ritirato prima della ripartenza. Sono venuto all’ora di cene e ho suonato il citofono a lungo. Non avendo avuto risposta ho pensato che non ci fosse nessuno. ho provato ad aprire la porta e mi sono subito fermato quando ho capito che suo marito era all’interno.

Great solution. It also has a small kitchen area with a hot plate and kettle. Despite the 37 degrees in Rome, it was not necessary to turn on the air conditioning.

Great location. Regular stay. The only downside was the humidity, or at least my room (Minerva) was very, very humid, which means it was cold even though it was 30 degrees outside. I can't imagine how it is in winter.

Signor Carroccia, mi dispiace che lei abbia giudicato la esperienza così negativamente. Comunque rispettiamo i suoi giudizi e faremo tesoro dei suoi commenti. Ci teniamo solo a evidenziare alcuni aspetti: 1 - avremmo gradito avere i suoi commenti immediatamente per poter reagire e risolvere i suoi problemi. Non capisco proprio per quale motivo ha aspettato di essere partito per comunicarceli. Come avrà notato, siamo venuti appositamente ad incontrarla in anticipo per prendere i suoi bagagli e siamo ritornati la sera appositamente per portare il telecomando TV appena ci ha comunicato la sua mancanza. Noi siamo molto attenti a soddisfare le esigenze dei nostri clienti e dovrebbe articolare meglio il motivo di mettere 4 al gestore. Che cosa non le è piaciuto nel nostro rapporto? 2 - la camera che lei ha scelto è la nostra più economica e la sua conformazione era ben documentata dalle foto nel portale. Il prezzo che ha pagato è vicino alla metà di quanto richiesto per camere di più alto livello e commisurato alla sistemazione offerta. Se avesse voluto una camera di livello superiore avrebbe potuto tranquillamente sceglierla. 3 - Il livello di umidità è purtroppo molto alto in tutta Roma in questo periodo e anche per questo motivo la camera è equipaggiata con un condizionatore/deumidificatore. Lei è rimasto due notti e le chiedo se lei lo abbia mai acceso. 4 - Ovviamente non ci siamo accorti che l'asciugacapelli non fosse funzionante e le avremmo facilmente fornito il nostro di scorta se ce lo avesse fatto sapere. Riconoscerà che siamo immediatamente venuti a portare il telecomando TV e avremmo fatto lo stesso. 5 - Ha dato appena 7 persino alla posizione che è stata sempre giudicata eccellente dai nostri clienti dal momento che trovandosi a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Termini e dal Colosseo e a 200 metri dalla stazione metropolitana CAVOUR, consente di raggiungere a piedi tutte le principali mete turistiche. Cortesemente mi faccia un esempio di posizione che lei reputa migliore. 6- Nessuna giustificazione per le ragnatele che certamente non devono esserci e chiariremo meglio i nostri standard con il servizio di pulizie. Cordiali saluti.

Excellent structure! The location is strategic, a ten-minute walk from Termini Station and the Colosseum. Cavour metro station is a 5-minute walk away. Surrounding area full of trattorias and bars. The owner very kind, helpful, and discreet. I had booked a particular room but, to accommodate a large family, they moved me and my husband to the loft. It was an unexpected luxury. Our own apartment just for us with a private entrance. 4 delightful days. The only discrepancy is that breakfast is no longer included, but we had a small kitchenette and bars all around in the area, so it's absolutely not a problem. Excellent choice! We will definitely come back. I give it a 9, because I always leave room for improvement Paola V.

The property is located in the Monti district, very characteristic, between Termini station and the Colosseum. A stone's throw away is the Cavour metro stop, so very convenient for getting around. In the characteristic streets, there are typical trattorias, modern bars, very cute little shops. The bed & breakfast is located in one of these streets, via de' Capocci, and is furnished in a rustic style with precious materials. The Juno room, the largest one, is quiet as it overlooks an internal courtyard and is equipped with all the comforts. The manager, Guido, was very kind, gave us all the information on how to move around and was available for any eventuality. We didn't have breakfast included, but the room has a kitchenette so I think it can be requested. However, there are nearby bars that serve excellent breakfasts. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

We arrived with the family for a weekend dedicated to historical tourism but personally concerned about the public logistics of the city of Rome. The surprise was the location of the property, which is truly a few steps from Termini Station, the Colosseum, and many tourist attractions in Rome. The house was clean, tidy, and definitely well-finished. If we were to find faults, the excessive humidity perceived in the basement, which, given the heat during the day, was certainly refreshing. In the evening, exhausted from daytime tourism, we dined in very nearby places, certainly touristy, but with a good value for money, and we were never dissatisfied. The cordiality and strategic tourist indications of Mr. Guido completed the picture. Absolutely worth repeating.

The only negative aspect is related to the location of the room in the basement, causing the room to be quite humid. The major inconvenience was therefore having damp sheets, which made sleep not ideal. It is necessary to find a solution to the problem, for example by installing a dehumidifier or improving ventilation. Otherwise, good, excellent bathroom, nice structure and perfect location.

I chose I Capocci for the location, the ensuite bathroom, the price, and also for the photos of the room. I know Rome and I wanted something central, close to Termini and a Metro station, in a quiet street. I found all of this and, as an added value, I also appreciated the owner's willingness to solve a small issue even on a Sunday. This is important to me.\n\nI lived in Garbatella for years, so it felt like coming back home to me.
