We enjoyed our stay at Okapi. The staff was kind and helpful. Although the room and the bathroom were small, everything was clean and well maintained. Initially, there was a misunderstanding about the mini fridge, but after I sent an email, the issue was promptly resolved—thank you for that. Regarding breakfast, we missed having fresh fruit, as there was only fruit juice available. Also, the croissants were all sweet—there were no savory options. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

Very noisy at night due to the location right by a major concert venue. The music was loud all through the night. Also, there is rarely anyone to assist at the front desk. The key broke upon first use. The bed was not comfortable. Not worth the price.

Brilliant location, beside Piazza de Popolo, and very central location to the Vatican and all the popular tourist attractions. Very comfortable room, and very quiet. Our room was at the top of the building so lots of exercise up and down the stairs but there is a small lift. There are 2 lovely restaurants right on the street, where we had dinner 2 nights.

This place was charming. The rooms were spotless every day and the host was very helpful and understanding. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. It's on a quaint street near Piazza del Popolo, and lots of shops and restaurants - a safe, lively area. The room was cozy and bathroom petite, as is usual in older buildings. The bed was firm and the room was quiet at night. Definitely a great value. There is a lift, too.

This place was great for the price and location, it had everything I needed. Heads up, the netbook on offer doesn’t work and the bar, which had a discount voucher for breakfast, is now closed. The staff were lovely though, and it was quite quaint with a narrow winding staircase and a tiny lift. You don’t need to go far at all for public transport, landmarks, or restaurants and shops.

Central location near the Piazza del Popolo, on a quiet and safe street. Three excellent, authentic and convenient restaurants next door. Friendly, helpful and lovely staff. Our room and the bathroom were basic, but clean and overall fine. We would only suggest to the management to have a more regular maintenance, e.g. our safe was not functional, and one of the push-buttons on the in-wall toilet tank was broken. Not a big deal, really, but it can be avoided with a bit of care.

I usually don't leave a review but, here it goes. I booked this place because it had a better rating than a 4-star hotel. My parents arrived earlier than me and the staff was helpful and registered them in without asking for payment as I was going to deal with that. The staff is bilingual and very nice and generous. The cleaning staff don't speak well English but they somehow understood us which was great! \n\nAbout the cleaning... it was spotless (at least from our experience) the room was so neat that we couldn't find a spot where it wasn't cleaned we would give them 20/10 on that. Btw towels every day, and toiletries included too. \n\nIt also had a minibar (fridge), a safe and aircon which was great to have hence we went during a heatwave!. The room had plenty of light and space to walk and to keep our luggage. \n\nVery, very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

First the Positive: great location on the Piazza del Popolo! We could make ourselves an espresso in the morning! Negative: sagging mattresses, rather shabby bathroom, defective air conditioning or turning on by itself in the middle of the night (so loud that probably the neighbors complained)! But, despite everything, a wonderful (the third) stay in beautiful Rome:)).

Amazing location, friendly staff, beautiful and clean rooms, comfortable bed. The stay was pleasant. The only downsides: the room on the first floor facing the street is quite noisy; the towels provided are two (shower and face - the small one for the bidet is missing). Additionally, a misunderstanding about the reservation (caused by a lack of correct communication from the manager at the time of confirmation) was not resolved in favor of the customer. However, it is absolutely recommended. This is not the first time we have stayed in this lovely hotel and we have already booked for next year as well.

The location is perfect. The room is a bit small but very nice, the only drawback is the wardrobe which is really tiny. In the bathroom there are soaps, shower foam, and earphones. On the ground floor there is a lounge with coffee machines, kettles, and water bottles. I found it all very fascinating.

Excellent facility, practically located at Piazza del Popolo. Very convenient to reach public transport and Flaminio metro. Very close to Via di Ripetta and Via del Corso. On foot, you can easily reach Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and with a slightly longer walk or with the support of public transport, you can get to the Colosseum, Imperial Forums, etc. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, very welcoming. The rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. There is also a safe in the room as well as a hairdryer and shower products and television. Nearby there are bars, restaurants and trattorias at prices for all possibilities. Also nearby there is McDonald.

Everything went well, with proper and good attention. This is the second time we have stayed here because the location is unbeatable. However, there is one thing to improve: in room 31, the mattress needs to be replaced with a new, firmer one. Apart from this, everything else is excellent!

The structure is very close to Piazza del Popolo and easily reachable with a few stops of Line A from Termini. Chosen for a show at the gardens of the Philharmonica on Via Flaminia, it was perfect even for the night return on foot. Good value for money.

Breakfast is not served, but there is always the possibility to have coffee, tea and even Vin Santo available at the reception. The staff is very polite and helpful. The property is strategically located at the beginning of Via del Corso, 20 meters from Piazza del Popolo and therefore from the metro stop. In the immediate vicinity of Hotel Okapi there are two restaurants of good quality and, not being right on the main street, also with reasonable prices. To consider if you are looking for a more than decent, welcoming and convenient accommodation. Recommendation.

My family and I stayed in a quadruple room at Hotel Okapi. The bedroom is exactly as in the pictures, a spacious area with one double bed and two single beds. In addition, there is a small balcony where we had breakfast every day! One of those nice surprises, I don't remember seeing it in the room description: inside a closet, there is a small kitchen (sink, two-burner induction cooktop, minibar) and various accessories such as dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots, etc. The fridge could have been a bit bigger, but it was really useful! A really nice thing was that every day the maid made the beds and left my son's two stuffed animals as if they were sleeping covered. Really cute! As for the location of the Hotel, it was really super practical! It is located a few steps from Piazza del Popolo where you can take the bus to the Colosseum, for example. Passing through Porta Flaminia there are buses going towards the catacombs... walking a block there is the metro, which takes you to the Vatican or other parts of Rome. On the other side, with a pleasant walk you can visit the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, etc. I highly recommend the hotel! The manager, named Anda, whom I spoke to from the beginning, was really kind.
