Melina, the owner, is wonderful. Her B&B is the best. It's the only place we'll stay when visiting Civitavecchia.

Quick walk to the main street, very centrally located. Milena, our host, was amazing. She communicated very well and helped with taxis and dinner options, so we felt very well taken care of. The property was very clean and quaint. Breakfast was well prepared and they accommodated allergies and preferences.

Melina was very responsive and helpful. She was encouraging in our attempts to speak Italian and she helped us with language areas we missed. Melina helped arrange our transportation from the airport to the B&B. She also set up a pasta-making class for us that was very special. The location in Civitavecchia was good for all our needs. The room had all the conveniences you would expect. We will use this lodging again on future trips.

We came here because we had a cruise from the port the next day and quite honestly the hotel options are pretty slim in the area but after research, I found gallery suite and it was a short drive distance to the cruise port! It was our first time visiting Rome in general so navigating around was quite different but not difficult. Our host was Milena and she was so helpful even before arriving! Her directions were very clear as to how to gain entry. She even reached out to ask if we need a taxi to the port without even me needing to inquire. Small actions like that are so thoughtful and made the stay a huge difference and easier because I was not sure which mode of transport to use to get to the cruise port. The entire staff was very sweet and accommodating. The suite itself is so modern and sleek. In terms of size, our suite is perfect for one person but can fit 2 people comfortably. It is a little small but the entire space is well thought out that it ended up feeling like it was the perfect size. Overall if I had another cruise porting from Civitavecchia, I would book here again and also recommend others as well!

Milena was extremely helpful, courteous & full of enthusiasm to assist in any way possible. This was clear from the initial booking, all the way through to our stay and eventual departure. Milena is a fantastic host and the property is spotless! There is so much attention to detail and comfort. The breakfast is perfect. Everything is brand new.

At first glance, when you arrive at the property, you might be concerned because of the building itself and the elevator size. However, when you enter the floor the hotel is located on, it's like stepping into a modern world. The owner has done a magnificent job in producing a stunning and chic property. I believe there are only four rooms, but they are bright, well laid out, and modern in design. There are a few restaurants close by, but it's only a four block walk to the oceanfront restaurants.

The best Suite Hotel I have ever stayed. Excellent service very clean rooms and housekeeping. Thank you Milena for your excellent hospitality. Spectacular structure in the area, excellent service near the port, thank you Miss Milena.

Great communication; friendly and helpful owners and staff. Comfortable bed. We stayed for two nights and would definitely stay there again.

Since check-in was completely electronic, it was challenging without cell service and the WiFi initially wouldn’t work. It might be helpful to plan to meet visitors from a different continent in person since we typically are reliant on WiFi only.

Overall enjoyed our stay at this establishment. Melina and her employee were wonderful and assisted us in all our requests. Would definitely stay and recommend this place to our family and friends. Hoping to return again. Thank-you again to you both.

The outside and the surrounding area do not do this BNB justice! We only stayed here one night before leaving for a cruise. The host of the property was amazing and her communication was outstanding. The room was very clean, we even had a balcony and most restaurants are within walking distance. The area looks a little run down, but it's very safe.

Wow! What a find. I was looking for a place to stay prior to a cruise and I was very pleased! Modern room in a great location and so easy to contact the host. Milina and Layla were very helpful at breakfast. We had a midday check-in for the cruise and Leyland arranged a taxi for us and let us keep our luggage there. I cannot say enough how overjoyed we were to stay here, definitely not your average bed and breakfast. Book it, you will not be disappointed!

Perfect place to stay just before our cruise. The host was great and the lady serving our breakfast was amazing. We would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to stay somewhere for a couple of nights prior to their cruise.

Excellent room and bathroom. The only comment I would have on cleanliness is the siliconing around the shower door and the limescale from the shower head. These are things that are not difficult to keep clean, but maybe it would be good to get a specialized contractor in every year.

Great place to stay near the port. Very clean and beautifully maintained. The hostess was always there when you had a question. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Gallery Suite!! It was only one night, but it was perfect for our stay before our cruise. Beds were comfortable, slept really well!! Milena and team were SUPER helpful and communicated very well about everything. They helped arrange our transportation from Rome airport and to the ship. Amazing place, amazing hosts. The Gallery Suite was a beautiful surprise.

Great and easy way to start a cruise. Very accommodating with the transfer from the airport to the cruise port. Very friendly.

Stayed here overnight before cruising and this was the ideal spot. About 10 minutes to the cruise ship port. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Breakfast options consisted of pastries, cereal, boiled eggs, cold cuts and an assortment of coffees and teas. Layla and Milena were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely little room in a quaint bed and breakfast. Stayed one night before a cruise and it had everything we needed. Very cozy. Host is amazing and so helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The property was very clean and modern inside. Hosts were very helpful and even made great recommendations for local restaurants. Some noise because of the location on a busy city street, but it was generally quiet by 10pm.

My husband and I were very pleased about this Bed and Breakfast. It was very clean and had everything we needed for one night before starting our cruise the next day. It was close to many nice restaurants, the ocean, attractions, and a short taxi ride from the hotel to the port (you could walk to the cruise ship but not with suitcases). When we arrived, Layla was there to warmly welcome us and to answer any questions we had. Layla made our stay super nice, actually so nice that we want to return one day! We highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, it is very new and very comfortable. The location was very near the cruise port as we were going out on a cruise the next day and the host was very helpful in scheduling us a taxi to get to the cruise ship as well as giving us great advice on where to eat. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and would stay here again if in the area.

This is by far the nicest place we've found to stay in Civicivettia. But we did have to book a year in advance to secure a room. \n\nMilena was a great host. Keeping us informed of important information before we arrived and this allowed our check-in to be smooth. \n\nCheck-in was very smooth and everything was completed electronically. The automated security technology was impressive and made the whole process both easy and secure. \n\nMelina checked in on us by text message later in the day to ensure we had arrived and to ensure that everything was ok. She also arranged taxis for our departure and she was a lovely friendly host. \n\nThe apartments are in a shared block and the suites are on the second floor. The main building doesn't look great, in fact, it looks quite rundown but don't be put off by this as the Gallery suites, once you are inside, are absolutely beautiful, clean, and very stylish. \n\nWe booked the double deluxe room and it had a king-size bed which was very comfortable and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower. \n\nWe didn't pack shower gels etc as we thought these amenities would be included but they weren't. This wasn't an issue as we simply went to the local shop to buy these but it's worth knowing so you can pack accordingly. \n\nBreakfast was nice with a very good selection of foods including cakes, pastries, croissants, cheeses, yogurts, boiled eggs, nut and seed mix, and cereals. The Lavazza espresso was nice as were the cappuccinos. \n\nCheck-out was at 10 am. \n\nFor a tip on nice places to eat, check out the following area which we found that was just a couple of streets back from the promenade and about ten minutes' walk from the apartment. There are about ten local restaurants hidden away from the tourist area within two squares and lanes (2 mins distance from each other) we were spoilt for choice on where to eat, prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. \n\nThe location is: Via Enrico Toti, 39, 00053 Civitavecchia RM. \n\nWe ate at EVO Vino-Cucina & Drink and the food and service were great. Our bill was a very cheap €50 for a sharing antipasti platter, two bowls of carbonara, two glasses of wine, and two glasses of limoncello. Very good value, lovely friendly service, and great food. \n\nThat said, all of the restaurants in this area looked equally as good. \n\nAll in all, Gallery Suites is a little gem.

The owners Milena and Davide and helper Leila were so kind. Davide even guided us to drop off our rental car and drove us back to Gallery Suite. All through our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculate, very well planned and we loved the little balcony. The property is particularly well situated if you’re going on a cruise, it’s only 10 minutes by taxi to the cruise terminal.

We stayed at Gallery Suite the night before going on a cruise. This place is a hidden gem! The rooms were clean and smelled amazing. There were so many options for breakfast and we were even given a delicious sweet that Milena brought just for us. Milena also had a translator come in during breakfast since we did not speak Italian. We really enjoyed speaking with both of them and Milena made the place feel like a home away from home. Thank you, Milena, and we hope to visit again!

Gallery Suite is managed and taken care of with care and love by the host and her assistant. Every little detail reveals how much attention they put into the establishment. The rooms are always clean, impeccable, with all the comforts. The bed is comfortable, the breakfast is abundant. Everything is perfect.

I found this property very nice, very well maintained, with beautiful and new furniture. Mrs. Milena who welcomed us was very kind and helpful. The only downside is that the garage is not right under the property.

Recommended for those who need to catch the ship at Civitavecchia the following morning. The owner is very meticulous and attentive to the needs of the customer.

Modern, clean, well-maintained structure in materials and design, where one feels respected as a guest. Yes, the right word is 'respect' when welcoming guests by trying to offer them a quality service in a well-kept and clean environment. A very convenient garage parking space (for a fee) is available. Moreover, unable to have breakfast at the scheduled time, it was offered to us in the room from the previous evening with quality products. Deserves a rating of 10! Thank you Milena and Laila! We will definitely return.
