Domus Appia 154

We stayed in Rome for three nights and highly recommend our accommodation: B&B Domus Appia 154. It’s located right next to the Re Di Rome metro station, just four stops from Termini (the central train station). The room was cozy, the hosts were welcoming, and the service was excellent!\n\n➡️ Pros:\n\n1️⃣ Great value for money! In mid-July, the rate was €120 per night, including city tax and breakfast.\n\n2️⃣ Good soundproofing and blackout features. There was no noise from other rooms or floors, and the blackout curtains worked very well.\n\n3️⃣ Spacious and well-equipped. The room was large, beautifully decorated, clean, and fully equipped. Daily cleaning service was provided. #RecommendedStay\n\n4️⃣ Friendly hosts. A local Italian couple who speak English. They introduced us to the main attractions in Rome and gave us useful travel tips. They also helped us print copies of our passports (which are often needed at attractions), and offered an airport pickup service at a discounted price (€50). We declined the service, but unfortunately, the airport express train was canceled and we ended up paying €65 for a taxi. 😢\n\n5️⃣ Safe environment. The area is mainly residential and felt very safe. Entry to the room requires passing through three locked doors, and there is a safe inside the room for personal belongings.\n\n➡️ Cons:\n\n1️⃣ Simpler breakfast compared to hotels. The hosts provide a typical Italian breakfast — a croissant and a cappuccino. Additional self-serve items are also available, such as toast, sausages, cheese, butter, jam, yogurt, and juice.\n\n2️⃣ Metro ride needed to reach most major attractions. It takes about 15–20 minutes by metro.\n\n3️⃣ Check-in is not 24-hour. For arrivals after 9 PM, you’ll need to coordinate with the hosts. (We recommend using WhatsApp for communication — they respond quickly.)

I really enjoyed staying in this place. The host was extremely kind and gave us many tips to enjoy Rome. It is very close to the metro station. The breakfast was simple but very tasty, and the room was very nice with all the facilities and very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Strategic location to visit Rome, the metro is practically under the house. The manager Renato is a precise, accurate, and caring person. It does not lack any comfort. Perfect cleanliness. I highly recommend it to you.

I will definitely visit Mr. Renato and his wife again, extremely friendly and helpful. Cozy, clean, and elegant structure. Located in a strategic area of Rome, it is very well connected to everything. I recommend this excellent facility to all travelers for business and leisure.

Courteous and helpful staff. Clean, air-conditioned and comfortable room, equipped with a minibar. Strategically located just steps away from the Rome metro station. Absolutely recommended and, as in my case, an experience to be repeated.

Domus Appia 154 is conveniently located to visit Rome on foot (in 20 minutes you can reach the Colosseum) or by public transport (just a few meters from the Re di Roma metro stop). Simple, good, and fairly varied breakfast. The Appia street is very busy even at night, so if you have trouble sleeping and prefer to keep the window open, it's better to avoid staying in this area. Mr. Renato is very helpful and can provide you with many suggestions for visiting the city! When we return to Rome, we will definitely come back here.

Great value for money with a very comfortable, clean, and elegant room, hot water, varied breakfast, and a location close to the metro. Moreover, the owner's availability is very kind and of great help.

Excellent structure based on several aspects: comfort, location, hospitality. Well-furnished house. Central but quiet area, close to metro and bus stops. Abundant breakfast. The Manager, Renato, very kind and helpful person. Absolutely recommended.

The bed and breakfast is located in a great position, very close to the metro and major tourist attractions. The manager is courteous and professional, the spaces are comfortable and clean; absolutely recommended as the overall satisfaction level is very high!

Highly recommended for those who want to experience the city in full as it is very close to the major attractions of the city, metro a few steps away, but also easily reachable on foot. Exceptional structure, well-furnished, very clean, and strategically located for those who want to move around by metro as it is 50 meters away from the B&B. The manager is very helpful, friendly, and kind! Excellent value for money. It's worth staying here! Everything perfect.

This bed is located in a very central point, 50 meters from the metro, elegant and well managed by Mr. Renato "romanaccio" doc, who is a kind and helpful person and above all a true enthusiast of Rome, in short, a good guide who advised us and gave us very useful tips for our visit to the city. I believe I will recommend his bed to friends because we felt really good.

The accommodation was perfect. The host makes you feel at home. Friendly, attentive and gives many local tips. About the location: the apartment is very well located, less than a 2-minute walk from the metro station. There are several restaurants, bakeries and shops near the apartment. The place is great. Access to the apartment is separate, you do not enter anyone's residence, which gives you privacy. The room is spacious and comfortable, great bed. The shower stall is small, the only not-so-positive point, but it does not detract from the stay. The bathroom is clean, fragrant, with bath amenities, great shower. The bed is quite large and comfortable, with outlets next to the bed. There is a wardrobe with a safe where you can store documents and money. I strongly recommend the accommodation and if I return to Rome, without a doubt, that is where I will stay.
