Good quality/price ratio. Thank you for very good and effective communication.

The property was in a good location, everything worked - most importantly the air conditioning which made it comfortable to sleep. The breakfast was pre-packaged but there was enough and you could help yourself to more coffee (or tea) from the machine in the corridor if you wanted to. Alternatively, there is a cafe below where you can get a good breakfast and coffee very cheaply if that is your preference! Overall, very good value for money.

Not really a B&B. More like rooms in a converted apartment. My room was previously the kitchen, with sink and stove vent still there. Very dark. Small window with lots of junk stuffed into the balcony.

The key given for the front door wouldn't work. Luckily we had the code.

Our worst B&B experience in Italy and abroad. Everything is old or nearly broken. Breakfast is no breakfast, only biscuits and a bottle of juice. There are so many noises coming from neighbors' rooms (walls are made of paper) and from the street (windows are not sealed to the wall). Never again. One excellent point: everything is clean on a daily basis.

A really nice place to stay - home away from home and in the vicinity of several fabulous eateries.

We had a good time at this place. It was a nice place, conveniently located near the metro. We appreciated the fact that we could check in early and when we were leaving, we were able to leave our luggage in the hallway and were given a spare key. The wifi and air conditioning were great. Additionally, the price was good.

Overall, the accommodation was acceptable. Unfortunately, the entire amount had to be paid in cash. The breakfast was meager. The accommodation was suitable for a short stay.

I am shortening the comment because it was being cut to only the advantages, which I now report at the end. I would not return. The property is dated and poorly maintained. The front door is run-down and noisy; it wakes you if others come back late. The entrance is very messy. Cake was left open and a glass of milk on the cabinet from the afternoon until the morning. Assorted discount-brand snacks. Dirty vase with a withered rose. Refrigerator with freezer had 10 cm of ice. The flushing noise from the next room was very loud. Cleaning was acceptable, but there was mold on the sides of the sliding shower doors and a patched moldy area on the wall corresponding to the adjacent room's toilet. On the balcony there is a damp, dirty storage niche with mattresses and slatted bed bases. I thought: if the mattress I sleep on was stored there, how disgusting! Anyway the sheets and towels were clean (rough but tolerable). The single room photo on the website does not match the real room; it is much smaller than it appears. Chair in the room: the seat's plastic fabric is very worn and will tear eventually (will they charge the guest for the damage?). Breakfast: avoid. Everything is packaged. The breakfast area looks neglected. I did not trust the milk, yogurt and butter in the fridge. I tried a horrible low-cost snack. Only decent thing: one tetra pak of fruit juice per day, rusks and single-portion jams available at the entrance. There is a coffee machine with pods, a kettle and a milk frother (I did not use them because of the same feeling of poor cleanliness). I would have preferred to pay a few euros less and skip breakfast; there is a bar below anyway. Cash payment, why? If at booking you must give a credit card as guarantee. I asked via WhatsApp to pay the staff member asking for a receipt (a 5 € city tax per night is added), otherwise they say to leave the money in the room on the breakfast tray (so you leave without a receipt or anything? Hmm?). Advantages: served by various public transport (metro and many buses, stop Università-Regina Elena). Quite inexpensive (single room 70 € per night during the All Saints' Day holiday 2025). TV and hairdryer in the room work. You can arrive whenever you want because no one is there to welcome you on arrival; you receive instructions via WhatsApp.

The location of the property is excellent, especially due to the proximity to the hospital, which is why I chose it. The welcome and kindness of the staff are exceptional. Their empathy and availability are truly commendable! The cleanliness is the same! I highly recommend it.

Convenient, easy to reach, clean. Great for those like me who needed a quick solution. Restaurants, bars, and everything you need are nearby. Excellent value for money. The manager is very knowledgeable with detailed instructions, even with online check-in.

Accommodation in a very convenient area for me as I needed to go to Umberto I Hospital for a week. I recommend it to anyone who has the same need. Very close to the subway and in a university area. The manager and collaborator are very kind and helpful. Single room with all essentials, facing an internal courtyard and therefore a bit dark. Triple room spacious, airy and facing the street with a small balcony with two chairs and a table. Great for relaxing at the end of the day.

Clean and bright room in a well-served area. The owner is very helpful. Recommended!

Caterina Goodnight is the worst B&B I have ever encountered. Dirty, poorly lit, where there is the breakfast area, at the entrance in the corridor, you constantly have to turn on the light that is on a timer. The duvet had three disgusting yellow stains. Inside the shower, there was mold, and the wall of my room was dirty. There is no fixed staff to turn to in the afternoon, after 1 PM, so I could not have breakfast the next day because the coffee machine was not working and there was no one to explain how to do it. It was impossible for me to pay to get the receipt immediately due to the lack of staff. So the owner told me to leave the money in the room, which I obviously refused, and I paid by bank transfer. Really awful, I will never go back, and it should be removed from the circuit if it stays as it is.

After the first night in the establishment, the manager canceled the reservation for the following two nights because, according to him, I had made demanding requests and had an aggressive and hostile attitude towards him. Although I had not been offensive, I had to apologize, while I did not receive any apologies. I had only contacted via WhatsApp because, until that moment, there was no one in the establishment, even though I had been told that someone would be there in the morning. I had requested and demanded the following things: to be able to pay a person and receive a receipt rather than leaving cash in the room; tea for breakfast (there was only coffee or barley); a persistent light on the common shelf where guests prepare their breakfast (there is only very dim lighting from the hallway, with a timer, which goes off while pouring liquids, and there is not even an indicator light to find the switch). In a double room, there is only one chair, so breakfast is either eaten standing or sitting on the bed. The vindictive tone was not mine but that of the manager who effectively kicked me out. I had written that I would deduct the cost of breakfast at the bar if I did not have tea, but I did not do that even though I had to go down the first morning. It would take little to improve the establishment: stable lighting in the corner where breakfast is prepared; instructions for preparing it; more cutlery for breakfast; alternatively, an agreement with the bar below, attached to the entrance door. Clear information on payment, and if it is really not possible with traceable payments, do not expect to leave cash unattended. Greater kindness and compliance from the manager (the staff on-site were instead kind).

I must preface that I have spent little time in the accommodation (exclusively for overnight stays) and I cannot really complain. The structure is a bit dated but comfortable and convenient. What I appreciated the most was: comfortable bed and a very quiet room, well soundproofed. The breakfast is acceptable and although there is everything necessary to prepare even a cappuccino, it lacks milk. The manager is very kind and proactive in being helpful, which offsets any possible defects. As far as I am concerned, since I occasionally return to Rome, I will keep it in mind again. As I already suggested to the owner, I would have appreciated finding a bottle of water in the room as a welcome.

The room is very spacious, with an excellent location for most of the faculties and for the Policlinico. Some aesthetic details need to be reviewed, but for the price, the area, and the size of the rooms, I can only be satisfied.

We stayed for one night, the room was simple but absolutely clean, along with the bathroom. The manager was very kind and helpful, congratulations for the management of the check-in and the organization of the keys to enter and exit. I recommend it, also for the prices in line with the services offered.

I had a great time. The room was very spacious and very close to the university. Everyone was very kind.

Convenient structure due to its proximity to the University La Sapienza. Excellent customer management with all the precise instructions from the manager.

Completely in need of renovation. No one present on site. Sheets with holes, light keyboard possibly originally white. The only positive note is the proximity to the university.

It is a room in a bed and breakfast in a normal building. We had an issue with the elevator (our fault), but the people living in other apartments in the building started shouting and even threatened my 78-year-old grandmother. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it. The rest, the quality-price ratio is good, close to the metro and the host is kind and helpful.

Good logistical location but definitely expensive for what it offers. It's definitely not a B&B but more like a student dormitory.

My room was essentially the utility room of the structure and certainly not the room I thought I had booked. Walls as thin as tissue paper, non-existent breakfast.

Not very satisfied with cleanliness, reception, and breakfast.

Spacious, bright, well-maintained room. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Breakfast could be improved with a few more coffee capsules and fresher snacks.

Very kind and welcoming staff, spacious room with a great terrace. The cleanliness was mostly good, except for a small area on the ceiling a bit musty due to the dating, but overall a very clean room. As for breakfast, it was always available but often of poor quantity, with very small portions, an aspect definitely to work on. Overall, my experience was completely positive, both for the price, the services, and the friendliness offered by this bed and breakfast. If I were to return to Rome in the future, I would definitely choose to come back to this property!

Excellent welcome and professionalism. Simple but clean and tidy room. The only flaw is the breakfast with packaged snacks, but there is an excellent bar downstairs. We are still satisfied with the stay and recommend Caterina Goodnight.

The manager is very kind. The environment is very clean. Regarding breakfast, it would be better to provide a voucher to use at the bar downstairs.

Torn sheets, very dirty curtains, malfunctioning shower. Two packaged cakes left open at the entrance for days, not even water for breakfast. I emphasize the possibility of payment only in cash. Not recommended.

Cozy rooms, maximum cleanliness and proximity to the metro stop. Kind staff. I will come back!

The 'Caterina Goodnight' structure is a bit dated, but clean. The room is narrow, but for the cost, the quality-price ratio is excellent. Breakfast is poorly provided.

Great for those who want to visit the center of Rome, just a few minutes away from the metro and bus stops! The room was clean, and the owner was very kind and helpful. Quiet area near La Sapienza University, highly recommend to everyone.

Considering the prices of the facilities in the surrounding area, the value for money is excellent. The B&B is nice, the room may not be the best, but I have to say that I felt very good, comfortable bed. Dario was exquisitely kind and I thank him so much for his availability. Until next time.

I spent two nights in a comfortable room, with a comfortable double bed and en-suite bathroom. Excellent location, with the subway I moved easily to visit the beauties of Rome. Very convenient for those who have to take exams at the university. Dario assisted us for the check-in and check-out. The staff was very kind.

Excellent accommodation and comfort. Especially considering the very cheap price.

The property is in an optimal location, with metro B and bus stops at short distances perfectly walkable. The availability and discretion of the manager and the reception service made our stay very relaxed and free from constraints. Breakfast is sufficient for those who do not expect a buffet or active cooking. The premises are clean, with some minor neglectable defects (for example, the hot bath was a bit dusty). Exceptional value for money. I recommend it to those looking for fairly central, comfortable, and economical accommodation, for travelers who want to be out and about.

Basic structure, for basic needs.

We spent a day at Caterina Goodnight. The expectations were not disappointed. Efficient services, accurate room cleaning, kindness and availability from the reception staff. It was truly a pleasant stay.

Functional, quiet, well furnished and welcoming, just what is needed.\n\nI appreciated the availability of the manager.\n\nI will definitely come back.\n\nAn unexciting note for breakfast that affects the final score, certainly maybe a deal with the bar on the ground floor would have been ideal.

Spacious room, clean, spacious bathroom. The structure is positioned at the intersection, but very well soundproofed. Spartan but abundant breakfast.

I did not have breakfast as I am not used to it. The value for money seems more than good.
