It was a lovely stay, the apartment was very clean and spacious. The owner gave us precise instructions to get in, it was easy and efficient. We enjoyed the breakfast and loved that we could use the kitchen for our meals preparation. Everything was clean and daily cleaned. The apartment is close to public transport and it is definitely a very good bargain for the price. Thank you Ottavio, we would definitely recommend your B&B and we would be back.

The host was very kind, the place was a bit far from the city centre but bus stop and metro are accessible so it's not a big problem. Highly recommended.

During our journey from Germany to Southern Italy, we were looking for a place to stay in Rome. Casa Caterina turned out to be a very good choice. Located near the highway in a quiet neighborhood, we easily found free street parking in front of the B&B. Cleanliness is a priority at Casa Caterina - this is already demonstrated by the "cleaning cupboard", where fresh cleaning cloths are neatly lined up waiting to be used. Nice apartment on the 2nd floor of a well-kept residential building. Fair price. One small drawback: a very basic breakfast without fresh bread, fruit, or cold cuts, but Italy is not exactly the mecca of lavish breakfasts and at that affordable price, it's okay. In some other reviews, the kindness of host Ottavio is highlighted. I had already cleared everything with him in advance. Good, clear communication. However, during my stay, he was not in Rome and had asked his father to stand in for him. Here it was evident that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The father was also extremely friendly and helpful. We asked, among other things, if he could recommend a good pizzeria nearby. He couldn't, but immediately called Ottavio, who was able to give a good tip: Pizzeria "Pizzando Grilliando" in Piazzale Jonio 39, easily reachable on foot. The father offered to drive ahead of us to guide us there by car. It wasn't necessary, but it was a very kind offer. Top. Casa Caterina will definitely be included in my list of recommended accommodations. I will gladly contact Ottavio again on my next visit to Rome.

Everything is very organized. The house is very nice and clean! I recommend!

Accommodation 100% recommended, very cozy, clean, abundant breakfast, impeccable towels and bath towels. The accommodation has everything necessary and more to be able to prepare food, all the utensils, some daily use products for hygiene and for the kitchen. It is 300 meters from bus 80 and a 15-minute walk from the metro. Ottavio super attentive to our needs and to make us feel at home. Without a doubt, we will return.

Highly recommended accommodation. Communication with Ottavio is excellent. It is ventilated, it has a large window in the bedroom and the bed is extremely comfortable.

Excellent accommodation, cleanliness, very comfortable bed, beautiful neighborhood, quiet and connected with public transport. Possibility to park for free in the area. Abundant and varied breakfast. Economical and simple. For those looking for a place to stay in the area, it is ideal.

The structure is in a quiet and relaxing position. Excellent location just 4 minutes from the bus stop where number 80 allowed us to walk in the center even in the evening, Jonio metro is 7 minutes away. Excellent breakfast to start the day. The owner (Ottavio) is available and caring, often asking if we needed anything. Too bad we did not meet him in person. I hope for the next vacation. Thank you very much, we will return soon.

The structure is clean and very welcoming. It is evident that it has been converted from a restructured apartment to obtain a few more rooms (we were accommodated in a probable former living room), very comfortable. The bathroom is outside the room and probably shared with other rooms, but it did not bother us. We had an issue with the shower water that suddenly turned icy. With the help of other guests, we managed to restart the boiler, which had stopped, on our own. Unfortunately, we only got to know the manager, Ottavio, over the phone, and this is the only downside. However, he was courteous in all the responses we asked for, including some suggestions on where to eat. Breakfast is self-managed but still prepared abundantly. If what is already prepared is not enough, you can also manage with something in the kitchen's fridge. The location, although not very central, is on a hill a stone's throw from the Ionio Metro station, which quickly takes you to all central areas. Excellent value for money. In Rome, we have not found better.

The location is very convenient and the owner is helpful and kind. The house, with a slightly retro style, is clean and comfortable.

Casa Caterina is a great Bed & Breakfast to stay at while visiting Rome. Ottavio is an exceptional host and very caring towards the guests. Always available and precise. His recommendations were very helpful. In ten minutes you can reach the B1 metro line which allows you to move around Rome. The property is in a great, quiet, and well-ventilated location. We slept very well at night. Additionally, Ottavio provides a great selection of packaged products for breakfast. Casa Caterina is highly recommended. My family and I had a great time and hope to return.

Very nice location. Simple, but beautiful. The manager, a young guy, is extremely helpful for any doubt or question. The services are excellent, the rooms are very clean, very well maintained, bright and colorful. And the breakfast is...abundant!! I am very satisfied and I recommend this property to anyone. I have given some ratings based on my volunteer life experience. Excellent overall. The manager is an excellent communicator who inspires trust. The house represents what everyone aspires to. Cleanliness and order. The structure also offers the possibility to use the kitchen. Nothing would be missing to live there normally.

The place is lovely, very well-kept. But what makes it special is the care and passion that the owners put into managing the b&b, making the guest feel at home. Excellent breakfast with good products, very varied and with excellent cakes!

Very nice place and equipped with everything. The location is great, a 10-minute walk from the metro. The neighborhood is very quiet. Ottavio, even though we did not meet him in person, was always available for any need. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. Spacious and very clean room, the manager was nice and super helpful for any information. Shared bathroom as advertised, also clean. Possibility to have breakfast with kitchen and fridge available. 10-15 minutes walk from the metro (Jonio which is 15 minutes from Colosseo stop).

Pleasant stay, common areas clean, warm room but when I asked for a fan, Ottavio's father (a kind person) immediately provided it before leaving. Quiet building and pizzeria 70 meters away. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Ottavio in person but he was very kind and helpful over the phone. The area is a bit out of the way but in 10/15 minutes you can reach the Jonio stop on line B which takes you to the Colosseum in less than half an hour.

I stayed at the B&B with my niece for more than 2 weeks, I must say I had a very good time. The B&B is located in a quiet area and within a 10-minute walk you are close to the metro or various shops, post offices, pharmacies, etc. As for the B&B, it felt like being at my own home thanks to the kindness, privacy, and above all the availability of Ottavio (the manager). So I highly recommend this B&B for the location and the excellent quality-price ratio.

Trip to Rome for four days, we stayed at the B&B Casa Caterina, a functional structure slightly uphill not far from the metro (end of line B 'JONIO') and bus stops. It is located on the second floor, small but nice, managed by Ottavio who unfortunately was out of Rome and we couldn't meet, but on the other hand his very nice and super helpful parents were present, so much so that they even took us for a ride in the car with them to show us the area around. Positive experience to recommend.

I found myself very well, always very helpful, even for evening chats. To be taken into consideration for the next stay in Rome.

Excellent facility and close to the Carabinieri barracks Salvo D'Acquisto in Tor di Quinto, as well as a helpful and kind owner. Until next time.

This summer I stayed at Casa Caterina twice and I really enjoyed it. Kindness, availability, and above all cleanliness, in a very quiet area and very well served by public transport; in 3 minutes on foot you reach the stop of several buses that go directly to Piazza Venezia, or to the nearby Metro station. So, I already know where I will stay on my next Roman vacation and I will definitely recommend it to my friends who want to visit the capital.
