Beside the Vatican

This is an excellent property! Great location near the Vatican, nice modern, clean facilities and a truly wonderful and helpful hostess in Alessandra. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Rome, in great part to being able to rest well at the BnB. We would gladly come back here again and again when in Rome.

This is a very very clean B&B. They cleaned every day. The breakfast and coffee were terrific, salami, boiled eggs, croissants. The host Alessandra and Alexia were so genuinely kind and helpful.

Great location, only a short walk to the Vatican, station, and bus stops. The room had great facilities and was very clean. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We really enjoyed sharing stories and a lot of laughs at breakfast time with the other guests. A very informal setup that we really liked.

At first thought we had come to the wrong address. But once inside the B&B was excellent, plenty of food for breakfast, rooms were spotless, and Alessandra was so very nice and helpful. Had a lovely few days there, would recommend this B&B.

Alessandra is very hospitable, making every aspect of your stay pleasant, from breakfast to the room to any questions you might have about sightseeing plans.

Highly recommended! Alexandra was a great host, providing many useful advises about Rome, places of interests, charming restaurants and transportation. She was always available to answer all of our questions. The rooms were perfectly clean and maintained in great condition, from the beginning to the end of our stay.

This property is such a wonderful place because of Marina and Alessandra! They were so welcoming and provided such excellent advice about Rome and the best places to visit and eat (and we followed the advice). They were so kind and made us feel so welcome. The property is right by the train station Saint Pietro and on a bus route which takes you into the centre of Rome. It is in a residential area and there is a supermarket nearby. We had a lovely stay and wish we had stayed longer.

Our first view of the location was not a good one. We had a shared ride with an older couple to the location and it was embarrassing that there was a car service open right on the corner. Then, we had to look for the name of 'Beside the Vatican' on the buzzer and really wondered if we had made a good choice. Thankfully, there was an elevator because we came off a 12 day cruise and had 3 large bags and 2 small ones. When we knocked on the door Marina met us with a huge smile and warm welcome! My daughter asked if she could help us with our bags and she came right out and helped us put them in the foyer. She showed us our room (which was being cleaned) and we were so impressed! The whole apt was lovely! She said we could come back in maybe 2 hours and actually get situated (which was about 2 hours earlier than normal check-in) and that's what we did. She and Alesandra were so friendly and accommodating... we loved them! The bed was comfortable and the pillows were more comfortable than our cruise ship pillows and bedding! The shower was amazing with great water pressure, and there was plenty of room for our bags and our clothes. The bus pickup was right across the street with several great restaurants nearby. The only drawback... there was no close access to the metro underground or the Hop on Hop off buses. Thankfully, we like to walk, although we took a taxi twice to get to the Termini. This was our first time in Rome, and although we loved the B & B, we would probably choose a location closer to the Termini next time.

Do not trust the entrance of the building.

An excellent address that I would recommend, even if a bit far from the tourist sites, except for the Vatican, if you take the buses you can easily get close to them. The welcome we had from Alessandra was great, it felt like we were part of the family and, in addition, in French. The copious breakfast is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. I'm not used to staying at B&Bs but if they are all like this one, I would do it every time. We had a great week and the good advice we received helped us make it even better. I highly recommend it.

Great welcome, the rooms are very clean and quiet.

Both Alessandra and Marina have been two wonderful managers. They have helped us very kindly in everything we have asked for. It is an excellent hotel disguised as a Bed and Breakfast. Everything very clean and well cared for. Full breakfast. Highly recommended.

Availability and efficiency. Highly recommended.
