Thank you very much Selim, we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us, we are sorry that you did not enjoy our breakfast, let us explain the point of our single-serving basket of goodies: Rome is a fast-paced city, full of things to do, gastronomic offerings, often a place of departure after a trip to Italy, which is why many of our guests wake up very early or have little time in the morning. The rich single-serving breakfast with quality and typically Italian products (some of them KM0 and well known in Italy as Rome's symbol) allows all those who are in a hurry in the morning to be able to eat something quickly or to take it with them in case of very early departures. The Martini Bed has always wanted to give its guests the freedom to wake up independently, without time constraints and without the need to meet other people. Many accommodations in Italy reserve space for interaction with guests right during breakfast, we believe that in Rome it is more important to dedicate that time to guests during check in, so that they can be informed and prepared for their experience in the Eternal City. In the basket we leave in the room there is what can be found in the pantries of Roman families: croissants, rusks, biscuits, jam, Nutella, honey, juice and milk. There is also a self catering kitchen in the flat and there is a supermarket open daily 24 hours a day for all kind of needs. Once out of the house, the city's gastronomic offerings are impressive, with excellent food (unattainable in a small accommodation like ours) on every corner...maritozzi with nut, pizza with mortadella, supplì and many other typical Roman products that deserve to be tasted and become part of the memories of the holiday await tourists outside the Martini Bed...better hurry up! L'abbondante colazione mono dose con prodotti di qualità e tipicamente italiana permette a tutti quelli che la mattina hanno fretta di poter mangiare qualcosa velocemente oppure di poterlo portare con se in caso di partenze molto presto. Il Martini Bed ha sempre voluto lasciare la libertà di un risveglio autonomo ai suoi ospiti, senza vincoli orari e senza il bisogno di incontrare altre persone. Molte strutture in Italia ritagliano lo spazio per l'interazione con gli ospiti proprio durante la colazione, noi crediamo che a Roma sia più importante dedicare tempo agli ospiti durante il check in, in maniera da poterli informare e preparare a vivere al meglio la loro esperienza nella città Eterna. Nel cestino che lasciamo in camera c'è quello che si può trovare nelle dispense delle famiglie romane: croissant, fette biscottate, biscotti, marmellata, nutella, miele, succhi e latte. Inoltre è presente una cucina nell'appartamento e sotto casa c'è un supermercato aperto tutti i giorni 24 ore su 24 per sopperire a tutte le necessità. Una volta fuori casa l'offerta gastronomica della città è impressionante con eccellenze alimentari (irraggiungibili da una piccola struttura come la nostra) in ogni angolo...maritozzi con la panna, pizza con la mortadella, supplì e tanti altri prodotti tipici della cucina romana che meritano di essere assaggiati ed entrare a far parte dei ricordi della vacanza aspettano i turisti fuori dal Martini Bed...meglio sbrigarsi! Terremo comunque presente il tuo feedback e cercheremo di migliorare, grazie ancora Paolo.

Everything was perfect. Paolo is a really polite guy, very forthcoming and always there to help us with any questions we had. The place is really close to metro station and approximately 15 minutes from downtown Rome. We appreciate the bottle of wine he offered us when we came to the place, as well as a bottle of champagne for the New Year's Eve. The kitchen was totally equipped and we had all our breakfasts there. Highly recommend it.

We had an excellent time at Martini Bed. It is a great place for someone who is content with a simple and functional place to stay and enjoy the 'Eternal City'. Paolo is an incredible host and met all our expectations. When the bunk bed was not suitable for us, he immediately accommodated a foldable twin bed as an additional bed. It is a great way to spend time in that neighborhood to get a feel for the city. Public transportation from that place is excellent... sometimes beyond belief. Just try to avoid rush hours on working days, trains are packed.

Lovely place to stay in a neighborhood I am very fond of near a metro station and a lovely huge park with Roman aqueducts. Basic I guess but very comfy and clean, very lovely hosts, so helpful, coffee on tap and everything you could need, even a kitchen if needed. Highly recommend.

Overall reasonable. But the quality of breakfast needs to improve. Moreover, someone needs to look after the room before guests are welcomed. We noted no soap or shampoo on our first day. TV not working, most likely due to a faulty antenna... Need more clear instructions for the guests who visit the place for the first time as it is a bit confusing, particularly if you are coming from overseas.

Your rate about cleaning, position, structure, breakfast and value is too much low and does not reflect reality! I did your check in (thanks for that 8) and spent more then one hour with you, helping you organizing your 4 days holiday day by day and booking transfer for airport. You booked a family room for 4 persons, I did the check in only with you, your wife and 2 teenager sons were on the balcony while I explained you everything. I was so annoyed by the behavior of the rest of your family who didn't show the slightest interest in my welcome and my work aimed at making your stay pleasant and well organized that at a certain point during check in with the excuse of showing them how the mosquito net worked, I let them back into the room. Evidently your family was so uninterested in what I was saying that they didn't hear that we answer the phone until 10 PM and in the corridor of my guesthouse there is an emergency phone that is active 24 hours a day. Moreover i sent you a PDF with all useful information about my guesthouse where everything mentioned before is well written and explained. Why you did not call us when realize that no soap was left in the dispenser or the antenna was not properly inserted in the tv? We want our guests have the best stay ever here but we need them to be communicative during the stay! About breakfast we offer Italian traditional breakfast using mono dose products that are mandatory for guesthouses, we use products of the following top quality brands: Ferrero, Barilla, Colussi, Boschetti, Borbone, Ambrosoli and Sant'Angelo, maybe you prefer a different kind of breakfast but for sure we do not have to improve quality of our breakfast! Very nice accommodation in an authentic Roman neighborhood. 20 minutes from the city center, 10 minutes from Appia Antica Park. You can rent a bike and enjoy the amazing nature and history around. The owner is super reliable and will give you interesting tips. We have been with a 6-year-old child, so it is very suitable for families. We hope to repeat and sure you will not regret a moment if you choose Martini Bed & Breakfast.

We had a fantastic time in Rome thanks to Martini Bed and Paolo. For a family of five to be able to have a room they could all stay in and relax was great rather than be cooped up in hotel rooms. Having the well-stocked 24/7 kitchen was excellent and much better than having to call room service in a hotel to get a tea or coffee. Free wifi a fantastic bonus too. Just a couple of minutes to the Metro and quickly into the city centre with authentic supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Would recommend to everyone.

Great accommodation with the possibility to park the car in the underground garage. Clean and safe. Paolo, the landlord, was very very kind to us and gave us tips to explore Rome. Nice property with a very spacious five-bed room. Well supplied with towels, a large TV in the room and breakfast. Nice kitchen equipped with an oven, dishwasher and washing machine. It's a pity that the bathroom is outside the room and that unpleasant smells from the restaurant below prevent opening the windows.

Ci dispiace per gli odori nel bagno (solo in bagno, non in camera!) provenienti dal ristorante sotto al nostro palazzo, abbiamo già avvisato il proprietario di far controllare la canna fumaria! Comunque il bagno ha sia la finestra che l'aspirazione, anche a finestra chiusa è possibile utilizzare il bagno senza problemi. Il bagno della camera quintupla è esterno, è specificato nella descrizione della camera, le altre camere hanno il bagno interno. Ci dispiace aver ricevuto un voto così basso sulla colazione, anche quella è descritta e fotografata nella scheda della struttura. É una colazione self service pensata per non limitare nessuno con orari e tempi, fatta a norma di legge con prodotti confezionati, abbondate, tipicamente italiana e con prodotti di ottime marche. A breve sostituiremo gli arredi della camera quintupla, spero che tornerete a trovarci per verificare di persona tutte le migliorie che stiamo per realizzare. Cordiali saluti Paolo.

I really liked Martini Bed. I had a great stay. The only drawback, which neither the organizers nor the managers could control, was the person in the room next door who was snoring, but it can happen.

Slightly dated property, but well maintained. Everything works and the owner is a very kind person and available for any need. Paid parking is very close and Metro A and supermarkets are nearby, practically a short walk away.

Martini Bed is a modern B&B in the Quartaro district of Rome, it is not close to the center but the Porta Furba metro station is just a few steps away. The neighborhood is quiet and well-frequented, with bars, breweries, and typical trattorias. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean. It provides many services but particularly free bicycle storage in an adjacent garage. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful, we also received a bottle of local wine as a welcome gift. I had a great time and would recommend this B&B to cyclists and anyone coming to Rome who wants to stay in a quiet area.

I stayed almost a week at the B&B Martini Bed. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the A Metro stop Porta Furba, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the center. There are various restaurants, bars in the area and a supermarket that is always open nearby. Thank you very much to the owner Paolo for his kindness and all the advice!

The place is very convenient for the nearby metro stop. The receptionist is very kind and punctual. The structure is very clean, it feels like being at home. Unfortunately, at 5 in the morning, people coming back or going out were talking in the hallway and making noise. For breakfast, everything is abundant self-service.

I stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast for just one night. The location is excellent because it is very close to the subway. The host was very kind and attentive to our needs. The only downside for me was the bed being a bit small and the breakfast being somewhat limited. Otherwise, the room is very nice.

The structure is located in an excellent position, a few steps from the metro, equipped with all comforts. Abundant breakfast and very clean room. The owner was very kind and welcoming from the very beginning, even though I arrived before the expected time, he immediately let us settle into the room, and in the afternoon he treated us to an excellent bottle of wine.

Fantastic structure with a helpful and kind manager. He welcomed us by giving us valuable information even without us asking. The room is clean and welcoming, packaged breakfast but with the possibility to choose among different things.

Purtroppo il regolamento dell'extra alberghiero della regione Lazio (quindi per B&B, guesthouse e case vacanza) ci impone l'uso dei prodotti mono dose, prendiamo i prodotti migliori che ci sono in commercio (il croissant che hai trovato in busta ci costa come quello del bar e se scaldato nel forno è davvero buono) ma conveniamo con te che il fresco sarebbe meglio. In passato abbiamo utilizzato latte e yogurt freschi ma l'eccessivo spreco alimentare che avviene con questi prodotti ci ha fatto scegliere il latte a lunga conservazione. La spremuta non la possiamo proprio fare perché non abbiamo la somministrazione. Nell'appartamento è comunque presente una cucina per preparare la propria colazione preferita. Ti ringraziamo per il tuo feedback, valuteremo se mettere un'alternativa al nostro cestino per una colazione al bar sotto casa con coupon fornito da noi. Alla prossima!

The structure is located 2 minutes from Metro A Porta Furba station which allows you to be in the center (Fori area) in about half an hour. The structure is not new and is a bit spartan but I didn't feel the lack of anything. I found the bathroom and rooms clean and the bed was comfortable. Small flaw in the soundproofing of the rooms and the room is very bright in the morning, so bring earplugs and a mask. Breakfast with packaged and single-portion products. There is also a small kitchen available. The girl who welcomed us was always very helpful. If I were to return to Rome, I would gladly return to Martini Bed.

Very convenient because it's close to Metro A, which reaches the historic center of Rome where all the monuments are located. The room is very spacious with solid beds and comfortable mattresses. Each bed is equipped with a power light and USB A socket. The elevator, air conditioner, and 50" TV in the room, along with free Wifi, add comfort to the stay. Well-organized with a well-equipped shared kitchen, it's a bit like being at home. We were there on New Year's Eve and they left us a bottle of Prosecco and glasses in the fridge to celebrate the new year! Ideal for a family like us. The tranquility is a 10. Highly recommended.

We booked a room for just one night: the Bed & Breakfast is located on the third floor of a building, the room was spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. The staff at the Bed & Breakfast were really kind and welcoming, providing useful information. Despite being a bit off, the location is very convenient near Metro A stop (Porta Furba), and the area is absolutely well-served and lively. Worth mentioning the attention to avoid waste. Absolutely recommended, also considering the price.

Due to a mix-up in the booking, Paolo, the host, was able to immediately manage the situation excellently and resolve it. wanting to find a critical issue... small things to review like the coffee machine that doesn't work very well. For the rest go there! you will have a great time! On the other hand, I criticize the site manager: when you send the booking confirmation email, enter what you booked, which room... they have names, make an effort, in the event of a mistake it can be immediately remedied. another thing, not everyone knows the English language and the host will not receive all the reviews since the questions you ask are only written in English...so eh... other languages shouldn't be excluded. if I don't know English, I can choose between Italian, French, German, Russian... I could go on but I'll leave your work to you.

Perfect location to move from the outskirts to the center, metro practically under the house, a 24-hour supermarket around the corner very useful, pub, restaurant and hot tables practically coming out of the house gate. Comfortable environment and lively neighborhood even at night. Perfect management by Paolo, dynamic and available all day long. Inexpensive and comfortable.

My family and I spent one night (a stop on the way back from the summer holidays). The property is located near the Metro stop, making it very convenient to visit the city. Everything was perfect as described, abundant breakfast with single-portion branded products. I appreciated the attention to detail and the possibility to separate waste with the bins provided in the room. The host was available to provide us with all the necessary information. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend a few days in the beautiful Capital.

We spent a couple of days in Rome with the whole family. The structure is located along the Tuscolana in the Quadraro district with the metro line A stop just a few steps away, which leads directly to the center and Termini station. Our room was spacious and complete with everything, with top cleanliness even in the bathroom reserved for the room. Breakfast can be had in the room or in the common kitchen, where nothing is missing. We had a good time. Mirko was very helpful upon our arrival, providing us with all the useful information both about the structure and about visiting the city. If you are planning to spend a few days in Rome, definitely consider it.

First of all, thanks to Paolo, super welcoming and friendly, willing to provide advice and insights for visiting the city. The b&b is located in a beautiful building in a fairly quiet neighborhood, two minutes walk from Porta Furba stop on Tuscolana. Available to guests in the apartment are a kettle for tea and a coffee machine. In the room, there is a small basket with single-serve breakfast products (croissants, rusks, jam) and in the fridge milk and fruit juices. Well done and very useful the pdf brochure that can be consulted via qrcode. Saved in favorites, I will definitely keep it for the next visits to Rome. Until next time!

I recommend this B&B to everyone: cute, cozy, clean, splendidly managed by Paolo. The location is not very central but just a step away from metro A, making it easy to move around to discover classical Rome but also hidden corners, like the Appia Antica Park, equally beautiful.

I discovered this B&B in Rome for a substitute position at the paritarian institute Enrico de Nicola on Via Flavio Stilicone, which is very close to the apartment. At first, it seems like a normal B&B, but when you ask Paolo why there are so many bicycles drawn on the walls, you discover something incredible, a workshop for repairing bicycles for the free use of guests, with a wall-mounted stand and special tools. There is a guarded parking area for bicycles at the expense of the structure and an explanation of a path to reach the Appian Way without going on the road, but only through the park. Since I love traveling by bike, I absolutely have to recommend this B&B to all cycle tourists passing through Rome, as it is not easy to find hotels for cyclists and cycle travelers in large cities like this one. Paolo has not yet started to advertise this new service related to his passion for bicycles, which is why I decided to help him. The breakfast can be abundant, as you serve yourself, but there are no savory foods; not a problem, as there is a grocery store nearby that prepares excellent sandwiches and a supermarket open until 9 PM just 100 meters away, very convenient as there is a kitchen at home! It is also convenient to have the possibility of doing laundry. I would have stayed a few more days and I will definitely stop here during my next bike trip in Italy.

Ciao Barbara, nel frattempo ci siamo convenzionati con il noleggio bici nel parco di Tor Fiscale, a due passi dal B&B, se capiti di nuovo a Roma per lavoro potrai approfittare della convenzione per una pedalata lungo l'Appia Antica che in questo periodo dell'anno è meravigliosa, l'estate si avvicina e siamo impegnati a finire di installare zanzariere e condizionatori; sistemate le cose più urgenti cominceremo a pubblicizzare sia i servizi legati alla bici (dobbiamo ancora completare qualche dettaglio) sia le misure adottate per ridurre l'impatto ambientale della nostra attività. Un B&B eco e bike-friendly a Roma è una sfida, sono le persone come te che ci fanno pensare ad un possibile successo. Aggiornaci sui tuoi prossimi viaggi in bici e in bocca al lupo per tutti i tuoi progetti. Paolo e Enrico.
