Guests love it because: in the city center, cheap, the design of the property, charming property, shopping area, by the river, near the metro, very new, abundant breakfast.

The breakfast service is offered at one of the oldest bars in Trastevere, immersed in the atmosphere of medieval Rome, in one of the most characteristic squares of the city. The bar, located next to the B&B, offers a delicious typical Italian breakfast with excellent cappuccinos and fresh pastries. For most of the year, it is possible to relax at one of the numerous outdoor tables to immediately enjoy the fantastic city climate. The service is available without time limits. Alternatively, you can request an international breakfast with ham, cheese, omelettes, and fresh orange juice for an additional cost of 7€.

We loved our stay at this property! The location is located in a very nice and fun neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The location is close enough to the major sites to walk, but not so close that it felt touristy. The room itself was clean and charming, and the shower was especially amazing. George was very accommodating and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Our room was as advertised, we even received an upgrade due to the length of our stay. Daniela and staff kept everything clean and in good order. The B&B is located on the quieter side of Trastevere, but close to many trattorias and bars. Daniela provided a list of recommended restaurants and let us know which forms of public transport we should use to get around. The yogurts and limoncello in the common area refrigerator were much appreciated, as were the pastries, teas and coffee. We would happily stay there again.

Our room was as expected: bright, relatively spacious, and in a wonderful historic building. Staff kept everything very clean, although there were some small ants in the bathroom. The B&B is on the quiet side of Trastevere, which we enjoyed. It is walking distance to many of the major sights. Daniela had good restaurant recommendations for us and was very helpful in negotiating arrival and in booking airport transport. We appreciated the yogurts and limoncello in the communal refrigerator, although the coffee had run out (but it is not hard to find a good coffee bar in Rome). On the down side, there is no easy way to get to public transport. We were not prepared for the additional charges of city tax plus a PayPal payment fee, which raised the cost more than we were expecting. Overall, however, this was a good experience, and we would recommend Arco del Lauro.

Great location in a quiet area of Trastevere with quick access to many areas we like to visit in Rome’s Centro. The price was fair and the value excellent. The only issues were very minor: my wife didn’t like her flat pillow and I had to ask for a glass for the bathroom. Again, these weren’t biggies. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Very nice B&B in a very quiet area even though in Trastevere; very kind and helpful hosts, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast at the nearby affiliated bar is complete and good. We had a great time, we will come back!
