We stayed at Alba Sul Vatican for three nights in June and had a good experience. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary appliances, including a hairdryer. The location is absolutely perfect. We were right in the heart of everything: surrounded by restaurants, grocery stores, a local meat and fish market, and clothing shops. The Vatican was just a 10–15 minute walk away, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. There’s also a bus stop literally outside the building and the Cipro metro station is only about a 7-minute walk. The B&B is set within a residential apartment building, with a few apartments converted into mini studios. Our studio had a combined living and bedroom area and shower room. There’s also a communal kitchen available, though we didn’t use it during our stay. A few things to note: Noise: The street outside can be quite noisy, so if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting an apartment that doesn’t face the main road. Front door: The front door to the building is very stiff and we struggled to open it at first, but got the hang of it after a couple of tries. Breakfast: Breakfast was provided, but the variety was a bit limited for our taste. It might not suit everyone, but it was still a nice touch. Overall, it’s a great base for exploring Rome, especially if you want to be close to the Vatican and local amenities.

We stayed for 8 nights in Rome for tourism. Great location near Vatican City and 2 metro stations which made it easy to get around. Very well priced for the quality of the rooms and service. The hosts were great and very responsive to guest needs and questions. Complimentary breakfast is set out from 7:30am - 10:00am and is delicious. You could even walk to Colosseum and Trastevere in around 40 minutes if you like - it's a beautiful walk with many interesting sights along the way.

Cosy room, very clean. Super location, few minutes walk to the Vatican. Bus lines just outside, a few minutes walk to Metro. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Gracious hosts, excellent communication. Alba sul Vaticano is a wonderful B and B at a very nice price. Mille grazie Alba e Vito!

I am very impressed by the service in the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The pillows were comfortable. Vatican is a few minutes by walk. The host was a very lovely woman and she let us leave the luggage until the evening because of our delayed flight. I definitely recommend this apartment.

The owner of the B&B was very helpful and I could always contact her. What you get for the price is very good. Do not expect a luxury hotel, but expect a cozy little affordable room perfect for a few days spent in Rome. Breakfast is a plus and is everything you need. You could hear sometimes the noise outside, but it did not bother me too much. Great stay for a city trip in Rome.

The place is a perfect find for tourists who want to explore Rome. It is easy to find and very accessible from train and bus stations. There is a small convenience store right outside the building, which makes it easy for tourists to buy snacks or little things they need. The apartment is so neat and clean. Housekeeping is done on a regular basis. The price/rate per night is so worth it. You get good breakfast and a really warm welcome from the owners/host every morning. Non-coffee drinkers like me can also ask for hot chocolate and the owner (who serves guests hands-on) is more than glad to make one for you. :) To top it all, Alba (the lady owner) makes guests feel at home and comfortable by spending some time welcoming and talking to them every morning in the breakfast area. Everything is perfect and there's nothing else we can ask for. Hope to come back in the future.

Alba Sul Vaticano, I exceptionally loved this Bed and Breakfast. I am fully satisfied with everything. The location is perfect, just 400 meters from the Cipro metro station. The staff were very friendly, helpful, hospitable. I felt like at home. The cleanliness was fantastic. The rooms were very cosy. Everything was very close. Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Church, within 2-3 minutes walking distance. When in Rome, I'll always choose Alba Sul Vaticano. Good luck!!! Once again thanks for your special hospitality. We had a great stay at this B&B. The host was super friendly and gave us a lot of new suggestions on where to go, considering we've been to Rome many times before.\n\nLocation is close to the Vatican, which is not super close to the city center (a beautiful 25-30 minute walk). Bus stop is just outside the B&B and metro is close too if you do not want to walk. The location is however very convenient if you want to see the Vatican since that requires an early morning.\n\nBreakfast was good with more options than we expected. Room was cute and clean and they also cleaned it every day.\n\nWe could not find anything in Rome close to the center that had a better value for the money than Alba sul Vaticano, so we really recommend staying here!

Vito and family were on hand at breakfast to attend to any special needs and make eggs to order if desired. He was friendly and explained everything on arrival. The B&B was very close to the Vatican museums and an easy walk to the metro. There was also a bus stop near the front door. I would be happy to stay here again.

Alba was a very sweet host. The breakfast was delicious and the room very clean. I am picky about that, so I appreciated it! The only issue was the shower door was in disrepair, but it didn't prevent showering at all. The bus stop was directly outside the B & B so it was very convenient, however, the buses in Rome are a bit unreliable.

Amazing and Best Place to Stay in Rome! We were traveling for the first time to Europe and, like everyone, we were very cautious and took our time reading every review for our safety in another country. We came across this one because of all the positive reviews and now we can see why. Security and Safety are very important to us when traveling, we arrived at a large apartment building and the main door was locked. We were greeted by Vito who was polite, friendly, welcoming, and very helpful with our transportation and made sure we were comfortable. For breakfast, there were plenty of options: croissants, fruit, coffee, crackers, bread, yogurt, and juices. The lady also offers to make eggs for you if you wish. The room was always clean when we came back, we had AC, wifi, and very cozy. Also, a great price! The place itself is in a perfect location, we had plenty to do. A minute away from the Vatican City, many restaurants, souvenir shops, and close to the airport/bus/train/taxi stations. We went on a couple of night walks the last couple of days and the area always felt safe. We are very happy we chose this bed & breakfast and plan to stay again when we return next year. For all first-time travelers to Europe, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful experience!

Absolutely loved staying here, I already want to come back and bring my parents. I was a solo female traveler and felt completely safe. If you arrive at the airport and have AT&T, message her from there because connectivity is spotty when you're in a taxi/train. She gives you a map and everything to introduce you to Rome. This property is within walking distance to the Vatican. Breakfast was wonderful and they provided water and tidied up my room every day. September was cool enough for windows but AC is provided. Also, if you walk down to 127, the family owns the restaurant and they picked out the courses for me with wine and it was heavenly for a dinner close by. Would 100% come stay again!

We had a lovely stay with Vito at Alba sul Vaticano. The location is excellent (under 5 minutes walk to the Vatican Museums and 15 to St Peter's) and the apartment was excellent. As well as a delicious breakfast, there's also a kitchen area where guests can make lunches and dinners. We'd highly recommend!

Such a cute place! The hosts were very kind and helpful. They did a little orientation upon check-in. She gave us a map of Rome and circled/highlighted some good food spots and attractions. Highly recommend her recommendations! The room's AC works very well and quickly, even has a quiet mode. By the way, Rome is hot in June. It was 34 and barely any breeze between the streets. The building also has an elevator you can use or you can go up for 4 floors, stairs are spacious and all open courtyard in the middle. Alba and her husband Vito made our stay in Italy a wonderful one. Would absolutely recommend staying there!

Everything was fantastic! This place is a treasure in a very quiet building near the Vatican, very close to the metro and bus station if you need public transportation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped, always with coffee and tea available. Breakfast was served on the upper floor, so delicious and very varied, catering to all tastes. The hosts were simply amazing, very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for more, it was the perfect place to rest, and to be honest, I wished we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely come back.

Upon our arrival at the guesthouse, we felt like we found one of Rome's best-kept secrets. The guesthouse is a family-run establishment, well-kept and clean, and in a very quiet building which was perfect to end our busy days exploring Rome. Breakfast was always delicious and served in the lovely dining room. Location was perfect - a relatively short walk to the Vatican museum and other famous landmarks but the neighbourhood did not feel overly touristy. The Cipro metro station is also very close. We felt that the price was very fair considering the many services and amenities. Alba was a very kind and accommodating host during our time in Rome. We would love to stay here again.

Only a few minutes' walk from the Vatican City. Near the bus stop to see all the sights. Boutique style, very pretty B&B. Beautifully decorated, very clean. Very helpful host who is happy to help and suggest places to visit. Will definitely stay there again when returning to Rome. Very happy.

Highly recommend - this is an elegant, lovely, freshly-renovated space and a location that lets you see both the Vatican and a lively Roman neighbourhood. The owner gives an excellent orientation to start so anyone unfamiliar with Rome will have details of local attractions, transportation options and ideas for eating. I would stay again.

Alba and Vito are such sweet hosts. I was welcomed into the AirBnb. Be aware that you need to buzz the Alba Sul Vaticano apartment to get in. The door is gold and hard to miss. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, but remember that the ground floor is floor zero in Italy. The room was very white and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was that the towels weren't very soft. Other than that I had a great experience. I spent 4 nights there and Alba and Vito were very accommodating. They both make the best cappuccinos. Ice cold air conditioning and new and interesting people to meet at breakfast every morning. Over the tables in the kitchen they have a map with pins from where each visitor was from. Vito said they remove the pins every year. It was quite impressive and I met a lovely Chilean couple, a French couple, and some German friends during my stay. I would definitely recommend the B&B to all my friends and family.

Arrived for 5 nights at Alba sul Vaticano, we had an excellent stay at this B&B. Our two hosts were attentive, available, and accommodating. The good communication before our arrival allowed us to easily arrive after the check-in time. We also received excellent sightseeing tips, and every day the breakfast was plentiful. On the morning of our departure, even though the dining room was full, they even brought it to our room so we could eat before catching the train... What more could you ask for? Thank you very much!

Excellent stay at Alba sul Vaticano. We were very well welcomed by the owners, the room was comfortable and nicely decorated, the breakfast offered a variety of choices. With a short walk you can see all the main monuments, but if you are tired, the metro and bus are very close, and the neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!

We can absolutely recommend the accommodation! The contact before arrival was very nice and since we arrived late, the key was left for us. The breakfast was very good. Our host even prepared scrambled eggs for us. The rooms are delightful and thanks to the elevator, they are easily accessible even with tired legs. The room service does a great job, 5-star level! We will gladly come back! Perfect for visiting the Vatican and the host's tips are worth their weight in gold!

I was in Rome for 4 days. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The best part of the trip, however, was the Bed & Breakfast of Alba sul Vaticano. Very close to the Vatican. Quiet in the backyard, everything very clean and tidy. The rooms furnished with taste and attention to detail. Many extras like kitchen usage, chilled drinks, and an incredible continental breakfast. Who would say that in Italy there are no good breakfasts. Mortadella, ham, salami, cheese, fruit, yogurt, various coffee specialties, and super scrambled eggs on request. Fantastic. And all at a reasonable price. Tips from owner Alba for visiting Rome's sights and bus connections on top. Truly great. Recommended for those planning an individual visit to Rome.

This B&B is a real B&B. It is a structure very close (300 m at most) to the Vatican Museums. Quiet area, equipped with all services (including metro and bus). The room is spotless: hard to find cleaner and well-kept solutions than this one! It is located in a building that gives you a bit of the illusion of being Roman too! The owner is super courteous and helpful. The breakfast is good. We will definitely return!

The location is perfect: just a few steps from the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Square, ideal for exploring Rome comfortably on foot. We have just returned from a long weekend at this facility and I must say that we found ourselves very well. The rooms are very nice, furnished in a romantic style and comfortable. The cleaning is perfect, the cleaning lady was putting away objects and clothes she found around the room into the cabinets. The breakfast is abundant and includes various types of sweet and savory foods. The location is excellent, 10 minutes from the Vatican Museums, 5 minutes from the Cipro metro stop which takes you to the center, and bus 492 which stops right outside (which also takes you to the center). The owners are very kind and available for our requests. We will keep you in mind for our next visits to Rome.

B&B very close to the Vatican Museums, it consists of two apartments in a building with an internal courtyard. Very close to the metro (Cipro and Ottaviano) and several bus lines (bus stop right in front of the entrance). Breakfast is served in a not very large common area, but nothing is missing (sweet, savory, fruit, hot and cold drinks). The hosts are very kind and available to give advice. Quick check-in and check-out, and it is possible to leave luggage after check-out. Excellent value for money! Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely come back when we are in Rome again!

Structure not far from the Vatican, but very well connected by bus and metro to the center and to numerous tourist spots in Rome (right outside the door there is a bus that goes to the center and another that goes to the metro stop, which is 400 meters away on foot). "Alba sul Vaticano" is a beautiful bed and breakfast just renovated very close to the metro stop "Ottaviano". The neighborhood is quiet and quite calm, rich in restaurants and bars where you can eat. The structure is located in a building without too many pretensions where there is an old-style elevator. The rooms are very clean and tidy (appreciation for those who clean, I was positively surprised), it is evident that they have been recently redecorated. The hosts are extremely helpful for any questions or requests. The breakfast is very rich and very good, prepared fresh every morning. Structure more than recommended.

I greatly appreciated the availability of the owner who allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, allowing us to make the most of our stay in the city free from the trolley. Served by metro and surface buses, it is strategically located to visit the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's. With a 30-minute walk you can also reach Piazza Navona passing by Castel Sant'Angelo! We were very satisfied. I highly recommend it. PS: kind and very appropriate the idea of offering frappe for breakfast - during this carnival period - the traditional sweet of this celebration. The managers of the Bed and Breakfast are truly affable and kind, very helpful and caring. Good breakfast with delicious homemade pastries. Comfortable and clean room. The only 'negative' thing is the lack of a bidet in the bathroom. Great location of the structure. Just outside there is a bus stop and only 800 meters from Ottaviano metro station. The structure is located on a street parallel to the Vatican Museums. I recommend it also because the quality/price ratio is very good.

I had the fortune to stay in this wonderful accommodation located in a quiet position just steps from St. Peter's Square. The room was very clean, the linen and furnishings new and refined. I also had the chance to experience the exquisite kindness and courteous availability of the owner and her family. I highly recommend it.

Mrs. Alba was very kind and extremely helpful in giving us advice for our requests, especially regarding gastronomy, which turned out to be excellent. The location is enviable. Breakfast is truly superb, with sweet and savory items of excellent quality, and the room is very clean. We will definitely return on the next occasion.

I stayed in Rome for just one night but I found everything I was looking for at Alba sul Vaticano. I was looking for something close to St. Peter's Square and this Bed and Breakfast is in a great location, very close to the entrance of the Vatican Museums. Everything newly renovated and of excellent taste. I found in Alba a truly exquisite lady, very kind and helpful. I was alone on this trip but I will definitely come back with my family. Highly recommended.

If you want to see Rome, this is perfect. Just a stone's throw (really) from the Vatican, a clean B&B run by an extremely friendly lady. The breakfast is exciting, rich with everything! Due to an engagement, I should have skipped it to leave early that morning, but the lady kindly asked me to stay, and I was right to follow her advice: all the delicacies just out of the oven that I still remember! And to top it all off, to make sure I did not arrive late for my appointment, she even gave me a ride on her scooter while acting as my mini-guide! Incredible! A Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn reversed!

We stayed at the B&B of Mrs. Alba on the occasion of the Depeche Mode concert. We were satisfied with the strategic location for moving around Rome, the proximity to the stadium, St. Peter's, and the places to visit. The structure is quite silent, located in an ancient building, near the metro. The welcome was excellent, the managers were very friendly, the rooms were clean and tastefully renovated. The breakfast is genuine and with fresh products. Congratulations!

Very welcoming B&B. Kindness, cordiality, and availability are the adjectives that the lady who manages this structure deserves. Strategic point, close to the Vatican, well connected by public transport and very close to the subway.
