I stayed at Ad Maiora B&B for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience. I stayed in the "Foro" room, which was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, charming cafes, and the train station. What truly made my stay special were the hosts, Matteo and Luciana. They were incredibly kind and helpful, offering thoughtful suggestions and flexible support throughout my stay. They even allowed me a late check-out, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Ad Maiora B&B to anyone visiting Rome. When I return, this will absolutely be my first choice.

Handy for metro and Vatican. Spotlessly clean and very good bedrooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately, no kitchen or even basic facilities to prepare drinks or food. If there were it would be a 10. Breakfast provided in nearby cafe basic. \nManager friendly until, for very good reasons, we forgot to leave keys. This is not unusual in hotels and we posted them asap, but he seemed more displeased than one might expect.

Thank you for the review. Before booking in a b&b you have to read what the establishment offers, in our case it is stated that breakfast is not served. It is also written that in the rooms there are no products for preparing breakfast and drinks. In Italy there are rules and we respect them. For the keys the problem was serious, as it is not a hotel as you keep writing but a b&b, and it caused us problems with the next check in. Matteo

The Host Matteo is amazingly welcoming. Room and bathroom are simply spotless! There are many bars nearby where you can enjoy a proper Italian breakfast (Roman and Sicilian)... Just 10 minutes walk from the Vatican Museums. Well... I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Everything was perfect. Convenient location to move around freely both on foot and by public transport. Clean, tidy room equipped with all comforts. The hosts are wonderful people; from the booking, they gave us maximum availability and their hospitality was truly familial. The bed and breakfast is very clean and in an excellent area, close to the metro (Cipro) and with many bars and restaurants nearby. Moreover, the staff welcomed us in a wonderful way, even leaving us a little gift made by them. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a weekend or a longer stay to visit the city of Rome in all its splendor.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast, strategic location to visit Rome. Cozy rooms, excellent cleanliness. The owner Matteo is always available to meet our needs. The metro and buses are very close. I recommend it to everyone. We stayed for three days (New Year's Eve 2024). We will definitely return!

We spent three days in Rome and stayed at the bed and breakfast Ad Maiora. What can I say, the location of the bed and breakfast is excellent, in fact, it is located three hundred meters from the Cipro metro station, and I assure you that having a metro stop nearby is no small thing. The room is beautiful, clean, it has everything you need. And then there are Matteo and Luciana who are the owners of the bed and breakfast and who are wonderful people, kind, always ready to advise and help you. If you want to visit Rome, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We landed at Fiumicino. With the train in about 45 minutes we arrived at the Villa Aurelia station, which is located a short distance (about 10 minutes on foot) from the B&B, well served by the metro. We managed to reach St. Peter's Square on foot in a short time, and from there we continued reaching Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and Piazza di Spagna. With the metro, we instead reached the Colosseum, and then walked back to the B&B to enjoy all the beauties of Rome. The B&B is very clean, well furnished, with clean and fragrant linen. The owners made us feel at home, always available, they helped us a lot by explaining how to get around. Upon arrival, they provided us with a map. When we return to Rome, we will gladly return to the B&B Ad Maiora.

B&B located inside a palace in the area behind the Vatican. The room is clean and quite spacious. The manager and his mother are very attentive to the guests' needs and caring in ensuring that everything goes smoothly. The location is excellent as it is only a few minutes' walk from the Cipro metro station on line A, which connects directly to the main monuments. There is no breakfast service due to Covid, but you can easily make up for it with the bars around. If I have to point out a flaw, it is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms, which leads to hearing perfectly the conversations of other guests and those who live in the adjacent apartments in the same building. In general, a suitable solution to experience Rome at its best.

I stayed with my family for the 25th of April 2019 bridge. Great experience; convenient area to the metro station and not far from the Vatican Museums; very kind owners and available for any advice. Modern, clean, and well-furnished rooms; varied breakfast with fresh brioches. Mr. Matteo recommended us some good local places nearby to have dinner. Definitely a great choice.

I had the pleasure of staying at the B&B Ad Maiora and I can only confirm what was stated above regarding the hospitality, structure, cleanliness, friendliness, availability, and professionalism of the managers. Its location just a few steps from the subway and the Vatican Museums, the proximity of many restaurants to eat at, the tranquility of the area will make me remember with nostalgia the days spent in the Eternal City. Structure a few steps from the Cipro metro stop, very clean and welcoming. The spacious room is clean with a bathroom en suite. Free Wi-Fi. The owners are splendid people, nice and welcoming with whom it was a pleasure to chat during the rich and good breakfast, excellent I would say. If I had to pass by Rome again, I would definitely know where to stay.
