Lovely hotel room. Very close to the centre. Gave lots of information. Was woken up by a loud, consistent banging noise- not sure if this was to do with the hotel or apartment. The host was very informative and helpful. I would have appreciated the invoice quicker. The number on the website to ask questions is not correct- this could do with updating.

The owner claims and demands (not in a polite way) that the payment of the cleaning fees and municipal tax be paid only in cash. This is not rightful! You have the right to pay by credit card. They have an active Virtual POS on their listing, so they can accept credit card payments. They can accept credit card payment also for cleaning fees and municipal taxes and any other extra charge, so it's your right to pay everything with your credit card. The only thing is that municipal taxes should be credited to the Municipality in total. So, if the payment is by credit card, the bank will charge the B&B with a little commission on the transaction (as everywhere in the world!). If you pay in cash, be aware to ask for a receipt before your payment. Otherwise, do not pay anything in advance! Also, be aware of the stamp if asked to pay! Stamps are required for receipts with amounts over 77,47€, and the cost is 2€! Ending with, it is a fair and clean Β&Β, close to metro, markets, shops, restaurants, etc. A good choice to stay in Rome if you don’t mind staying away from the city center.

Ha scritto tutto in modo giusto, Non ho capito il problema della tassa di soggiorno in contanti, per 1 ospite è una piccola commissione a fine anno tanti ospiti diventa un importo molto alto, cioè praticamente dobbiamo pagare noi 1 tassa su tasse del comune? Non è giusto, non vedo quale è il suo problema. La marca da bollo di 2 euro sopra 77, 47 è specificato anche all'ingresso. Infatti non la chiediamo a tutti, anzi se ci tiene a saperlo non ci sono prenotazioni con importi inferiori a questo prezzo, solo in bassissima stagione e per camere singole. Tengo a precisare che non c'è nessuno diritto di pagare le tasse con "carta di credito" infatti come lei sostiene il POS virtuale con il sito internet stabilisce la somma possibile da pagare con carta o in contanti, non lo facciamo noi. Le ha dato fastidio pagare circa 30 euro in contanti? Io sono molto più contento di sapere che è stato bene nella nostra struttura visto che ha scritto che si è trovato bene. Grazie del suo soggiorno.

This suite is acceptable for the price paid. It is absolutely not romantic; there are only LED lights, a sober painting, and that's it. The rooms are very noisy: you hear everything. You hear all the voices coming from all the rooms and what they are saying. Also, the shower curtain was moldy. \n\nBut, all in all, we enjoyed our stay. The price-quality ratio is good. The location is good: you are 3 minutes away from Metro line A. Within 30-40 minutes, you can be in the city center.

I recommend Acanto Room Suite, as an affordable option for staying in Rome. It is right near the Metro and only 20 minutes from the center on Metro line A. The air conditioning was excellent and a lifesaver as it was 30 degrees Celsius every day in the week I was there (night-time minimum temperatures were 23-24 degrees). Staying out of the center gives you the experience of living more like the locals do and the price of restaurants in the area is much lower than in the center. The restaurant next door (Atipika) is excellent and I had some of the best food of my stay in Rome there. There are other good food options in the area as well.

We stayed in the Deluxe Room. Overall the property is not of the highest standard, but we were not expecting luxuries, so no major disappointment. However, the leaking sink should be fixed and the carpets cleaned better. The host was helpful, informative, and very responsive online. As he pointed out, it's better to speak to him and try to solve any problems with him first. We did it and he delivered. During check-in, he introduced additional stamp/service fees that were not included during online booking, but after some discussion, he offered to pay it himself, which we ultimately did not take advantage of. I think the price could be lower, but it was still much cheaper than places in the center. And the location, although far from the center, was near the metro, which I think is the biggest advantage of Acanto. Overall I would recommend it.

This place is amazing, nice neighborhood, not far from the city. 20-minute train ride or cab ride. Very clean, and the owner is very attentive and helpful. He got a cab for me to the airport, let me store my luggage, and everything. Don't hesitate on this one!

Recently we visited Rome for a few days. After researching many days for a good accommodation, I came across the Acanto Room Suite. It charmed me with its pictures, so I booked a room. I exchanged a few messages with the owner of the place, Simone, and from the beginning he proved to be a caring and attentive host. On the arrival day, Simone was waiting for us at the location despite that our flight was delayed more than an hour. He showed us the pretty room and I was pleased to notice that it looks the same as the one I saw on the internet. The room was clean, tidy, and very nicely staged for guests. The bathroom was a little small, but it satisfied our needs for a few days of vacation. The room's walls were a little too thin, so we had some nuisance during nighttime from some of our neighbors who didn't respect the quiet hours. Simone was very kind and gave us all the details about the place and also a map, indicating how we can reach the major attractions in Rome. Also, he gave us some tips on where we can eat well in the neighborhood. Acanto Room Suite is located in a quiet area, there are many shops, restaurants, bars in the neighborhood. The most important thing is that the metro is only 2-3 minutes away, so tourists can reach any destination in a short amount of time. A metro/bus ticket costs 1.50 Euro and is available for 100 minutes. I am glad that I found Acanto Room Suite, I will consider it again for a potential future trip to Rome. Thank you, Simone!

Absolutely superb accommodation and very careful service by Simone. The building is located in the calm area near the metro station, so it's easy to get to the downtown. In a very close area, there is also a park with an aqueduct. Excellent price/quality ratio, so we can highly recommend.

The value for money is good. Very good location, close to the metro. To make a point, they are very strict about the cleaning time for the room, if you haven't left before 10.00, they won't clean it. But it's also true that they inform you about this circumstance. One negative thing is that we requested a taxi to pick us up from the airport through the establishment, after more than half an hour, we had to take a taxi on our own. Of course, it's not the establishment's fault, but it's important to know so it doesn't happen again.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The structure is clean and tidy. The only note (but with a funny twist) is about the sensor light in the bathroom: under the shower after a while you are left in the dark and you have to go out and wave your hands to turn the light back on. Otherwise, everything is perfect! Recommended!

I stayed for business with a small group of colleagues and we all had a great time. The facility guaranteed us beautiful, modern, and well-kept rooms. The bathroom, in the room, is modern and functional. Cleaning absolutely impeccable. The structure is located in a building with an elevator. Perfect location, area with no shortage of shops, restaurants, and cafes. The metro station A "Giulio Agricola" is just a three-minute walk from the property and in just 15 minutes by metro, you can reach Termini Station. Simone, the host, was immediately courteous and available to accommodate our requests. Payment options include cash, cards, or bank transfer. Invoice requested and obtained without any difficulty. Absolutely recommended.

Payment with card was not expected, even though we knew in advance. We had asked for explanations and the lady told us that she did not know how to use electronic services. Let's say that was not a valid response. The expected cost was 83€ + 3.50€ per person for the tourist tax and 8€ for cleaning, so 98€. In the end, we paid 100€, without a receipt of course. However, the room was large and clean.

The structure is located in a pleasant residential area, near the beautiful Appio Claudio park. It is also close to Via Tuscolana, a rich street with shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. Excellent proximity to Metro A, which easily connects with the rest of the city. There are no parking problems for those with a car, you can park for free where you find a spot. Excellent welcome and availability from the manager. Breakfast is not included in the price, it is purchased separately and served in a nearby bar. I feel I can recommend this B&B and if the opportunity arises, I will return. The only aspect for me to improve is to allow payment by debit card. Payment is in cash.

The structure is truly excellent. Extremely clean, cozy, and quiet rooms. Moreover, the location is strategic, in a quiet street very close to the metro and with every type of service at hand. In my case, I opted for the rate without breakfast, but I would say that in any case, the value for money is unbeatable. The manager was very kind and very helpful, I was even offered a room upgrade (from a standard room to a deluxe) completely free of charge. I couldn't have asked for more, if I were to come back to the area, I would definitely stay at this facility again.

The structure is located in a well-served area and just a few minutes walk from the metro. Unfortunately, it is very lacking in cleanliness, care, and general maintenance of the room (shower faucet leaks water, low-quality shower gel, layers of dust on less visible surfaces).

Purtroppo non possiamo piacere a tutti, lo dico sempre. Quando accolgo un cliente dico sempre che se qualcosa non funziona è bene farlo sapere durante il soggiorno e non sfogandosi con una recensione a posteriori, - il rubinetto della doccia perde per circa 1 minuto in tutte le doccie, si chiama sgocciolamento, ed è naturale se me lo avesse chiesto magari glielo avrei spiegato da vicino il funzionamento - il bagnoschiuma di scarsa qualità? sulla base di quale test o in confronto a cosa? I nostri prodotti sono tutti di alta qualità e vengono forniti negli appositi dispenser (per avere attenzione nello spreco di plastica e di prodotto) se mi avesse chiesto, le avrei fatto vedere di persona la "marca", e sono certo che si sarebbe ricreduto in maniera sorprendente - strati di polvere delle superfici poco visibili, ahimè mi dispiace egr. Cliente se ce lo avesse fatto notare avrei detto al personale di pulizia di approfondire la cura della pulizia anche sulle superifici "poco visibili". Mi viene però un dubbio, lei è stato più di un giorno in camera e non ha chiesto mai la pulizia della stanza? E' questo il motivo per il quale si è formata la polvere? Se davvero come asserisce è scarsa la pulizia, perchè non ci ha fatto entrare? Mi creda, per noi questo è un lavoro e come tanti clienti siamo apprezzati per gli sforzi che facciamo ogni giorno, dalla pulizia ai proditti alla manutenzione generale, però mi capita anche a me di viaggiare e di andare in vacanza, e quando lo faccio mi vado a divertire mi gusto l'aria fresca di una nuova città e cerco di essere cordiale con chi mi ospita, ci provi anche lei alla sua prossima vacanza vedrà che tornerà a casa più soddisfatto.

We were very satisfied with the always available manager and the excellent location of the Acanto Room Suite, just a few steps from the metro and many services. Room cleanliness and shower water could be improved. Still highly recommended.

Simply fantastic! Our stay in Rome started with the delightful welcome from Simone, who not only guided us with his directions to a very convenient parking lot 40 meters from the property, but also thought of refreshing the room by turning on the air conditioner before our arrival (much appreciated gesture). He provided us with maps and tips to move around the Metro and the city streets effectively. The meticulous cleaning of the room, despite our mess, is truly priceless. Moreover, the location of the property is extremely convenient and offers the opportunity to visit a neighborhood (area) like Tuscolana, full of little shops, bars, and restaurants. Dear Simone, thank you for everything and I hope to soon book our next stay with you! Can you believe we just left and we're already thinking of coming back. Ciaooo Roma!

Excellent strategic support point for getting around a big city like Rome. All services within reach. The room is located about 150 meters from the GIULIO AGRICOLA metro station, in a good quiet location. Approximately 20 minutes by metro from Rome's main stations. The room (the deluxe one) is comfortable, the bathroom is a bit small but still great. The cleanliness is excellent. The owner is truly an excellent person who gives you many explanations on how to explore Rome and what to be careful of. Also recommends a great restaurant located right next to the property. Definitely next time I come back to Rome, I will stay at this property. Really excellent.

Decent quality price ratio, courteous and helpful staff, slightly out of the way from the center but easily accessible by metro. If you go by car, parking is free everywhere. Good experience, the only flaw the shower with low pressure, otherwise positive.

A really beautiful structure, curated in the smallest detail. Equipped with truly beautiful and comfortable rooms, very comfortable bed, but the things we appreciated most were the balcony, being a smoker myself, with an ashtray, and the spacious shower, because I hate small, tight and uncomfortable showers! Furnished with a modern, colorful and very pleasant style! The manager "Simone" is really nice and friendly, welcomed us without making us feel intimidated, treating us as if we had known each other for years. The structure is charming and very clean, the staff is very kind and the location is absolutely strategic, just a few steps from the metro and in an ideal area for shopping. We stayed at the property and as per public information, we found what was described. The Rome metro with Giulio Agricola stop is 50 meters away and the neighborhood is very busy as via Tuscolana is home to both fixed and open-air commerce shops. The kindness of the manager, Simone, puts the guest at ease who can take advantage of the various accommodation proposals offered by the property in addition to any problem-solving related to it.\n\nBeing a different type from a hotel, one cannot expect to have a concierge always present, but on the other hand, you will have absolute privacy with the availability of the necessary keys to access the building, the apartment, and the room as if you were in your own home. Lastly and not least, the quality-price ratio which is not negligible compared to hotel proposals for overnight stays in Rome that, for the services offered/received, are on par with the Acanto structure and in some cases even lower than it; For your information, smoking is not allowed in the rooms; however, some of them allow access outside to indulge in the "vice".. Mini-bar available at "very affordable" prices for those who want to treat themselves to a cold drink.

Clean and welcoming rooms, modern and recently renovated. Excellent breakfast, too bad you can't smoke in the room but there is a balcony.
