The lack of air conditioning and the barely functioning ceiling fan brought down our rating. Also, it was really difficult to find the place.

We highly recommend Silvanas Bed and Breakfast.It is clean, with lovely furniture in a spacious flat in a wonderful palazzo.Right next to the seaside and the train station with a stunning view.

A very friendly hostess and a room in a charming, spacious old building. The room in the historic building offers a direct view of the harbor and the sea. It's located right next to the train station and within a 10-minute walk of the shopping center. We really enjoyed it!

It's a very beautiful renovated old flat, with a nice view of the city and the sea. It was super clean and the bed is very comfortable. The owner made us feel very welcome.

A perfect place to stay if you want to be very flexible during your stay. The host Silvana is super friendly, uncomplicated, and kind. She will help you if you need help or have questions about the city or generally. The location is in walking distance to the ancient city and to the main station, therefore perfect!

The structure is located in a very elegant historic building. However, this means that the rooms do not have a bathroom in the room. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The structure is located 5-10 minutes on foot from the historic center, so the location is really excellent. The rooms are dated and lack a bathroom, we heard some noise during the night, probably due to the numerous connecting doors between the rooms, even though they were properly closed. Overall, it was a positive experience!

For a weekend getaway for couples in Trieste, we stayed at Palazzo Panfilli. The excellent central location, with convenient and affordable parking, convinced us of our choice. When we arrived, we received further confirmation. The stay is in a beautiful building, with spacious and well-kept areas. You are welcomed by the hostess not just as tourists, but as guests. The spacious room is extremely quiet. The high floor offers a beautiful view. The breakfast is plentiful and served in the kitchen with care. The location is convenient for visiting the center and, if we had more time, also the suburbs, as there are various public transport lines. Just a few steps away, there are restaurants, taverns, bars, and everything beautiful to visit in Trieste.

We stayed here for one night in mid-September. Mrs. Silvana was very friendly despite us being more than an hour late from the time we initially communicated. The room is very large and bright, a bit uncomfortable in the shared bathroom which is outside the room, but it was still very large and well kept. I would have liked something more for breakfast besides packaged snacks, but having hot coffee was excellent.

Located in a historic Trieste building, very beautiful (although internally the staircases would need maintenance), the property fully met our expectations. The room is very spacious, facing directly the central station and with a beautiful view of the hill overlooking the sea (towards Miramare). It went very well for us because the morning after we had a very early train, but those who stay for several days might have something to complain about, for example, the shared bathroom (very nice, of course), reachable by crossing the corridor where the other rooms face, with a sense of discomfort as it is very creaky and therefore with the fear of disturbing other guests. Also, perhaps it would have been convenient in these exceptionally hot days to have air conditioning instead of a ceiling fan. Since we left very early, we could not enjoy breakfast: I gave a 'flat rate' rating of 8 (B&B.it should include a checkbox in the survey for cases like this!).

The apartment is in a central area and in front of the station as we needed. The owner, Mrs. Silvana, welcomes you as if she were an aunt you haven't seen in a long time and makes you feel like you're at a relative's house.

The place is perfect, I love historical buildings, the location is strategic for parking the car or arriving by train but always staying close to the center. The comfortable room is very nice and the owner was very kind, allowing space and freedom of movement. I will come back.

Luxurious apartment characterized by very spacious rooms, bathrooms included. Excellent cleanliness. The owner is very kind and generous with advice on how to park and move around, and since she lives in the apartment (in a separate area) she is always available for any need and ready to welcome you at any time (of course, by notifying her in advance). We were three (with wife and 12-year-old daughter), we used a triple room that was absolutely adequate. In conclusion, definitely recommended. NB: only downside, they do not accept credit cards (I don't know if it's for this occasion or always), so inquire before staying.

Mrs. Silvana is very welcoming and friendly and available for information. The room and the bathroom are really very large, moreover the structure has the convenience of being close to the train and bus station and a stone's throw from the heart of the city.

Beautiful ancient, neoclassical building, in front of the station and a stone's throw from the beautiful Piazza Unità d'Italia and the Audace pier. The 19th-century furnishings and atmosphere convey the charm that permeates the entire city of Trieste. Mrs. Silvana is hospitable and makes guests feel at ease and is generous with advice. The beautiful cat Biba, the house mascot, welcoming and communicative like the owner, completes the positive picture.
