Ostarie Vecjo Friûl 1901

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautiful, clean and calm. The building is old but has been renovated tastefully. We particularly enjoyed the dinner, breakfast and wine. The owners were very kind and gave us plenty of helpful suggestions. We hope to return one day!

Very atmospheric place to stay. The room was clean and cozy and the staff was helpful and very nice. We've eaten here dinner and breakfast and both of the meals were delicious. The only disadvantage was the air conditioning which worked when it wanted to. It wasn't a big issue because we spent only one night here. Even though I highly recommend this place to stay.

The young couple running the place is exceptionally charming and friendly, and they are highly professional - and both speak very good German. We enjoyed an excellent dinner with regional cuisine in the idyllic garden restaurant, where there was also a wonderful breakfast. Our room was stylishly renovated and we slept wonderfully. A shelf in the bathroom would be useful... But that would be the only tiny point of criticism.

Far from the city's hustle and bustle yet close to everything. It is a strategic base for visiting Udine, Pordenone, Palmanova, Cividale and Gorizia. We chose it for its ideal location to visit Villa Manin and Udine and for being situated in a very quiet area. The hosts are very welcoming and willing to meet our requests. The on-site restaurant, run by the same owners as the rooms, is excellent. It offers many traditional dishes at fair prices consistent with the quality of the food. The premises are well maintained and the rooms well heated. The restaurant is very well presented, both in the dishes and the dining room. Recommended.

It's a pity we only stayed one night! Charming structure very well renovated, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable bed, the young managers were really welcoming and met all our requests, we ate very well, particularly good were the cialcions and the frico. Surely if we are in the area we will ask for their availability to host us again. Well done!

We greatly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the owners and the old-world charm of the place. We recommend.

Great for a short work stop. Too bad I couldn't use the restaurant.

Everything was excellent, the room was spacious and above all clean. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was more than satisfactory. Highly recommended.

Friendly and welcoming hosts; the room is a bit small but very nice especially for the rustic exposed beams and the historic structure. The place is beautiful for evening peace, perhaps a bit far from the main visit centers.

We dined and stayed at the 'Ostarie Vecjo Friûl 1901' for just one night but we were greeted with kindness and special care by the hosts. We will definitely recommend our friends to stop by and stay with them. Really thank you.

Spacious and very clean room, convenient and easy to reach location. The only downside, if one wants to find it, was the impossibility to park upon arrival around lunchtime for the restaurant guests, a problem that disappeared upon our return in the evening (parking is in a private courtyard in front of the rooms).

We stayed in 4, in this wonderful bed and breakfast, it is a historic farmhouse perfectly renovated, spacious rooms equipped with all comforts, beautiful and well-kept internal courtyard, but above all 10 and praise for the kindness, courtesy and availability of the owners, excellent cuisine, well taken care of and quality. Pet friendly! Thank you for everything and see you soon!
