Very nice B&B, clean room and bathroom, nice host, good breakfast. The location is well located, the center and all important public transports are in walking distance. Our room was quiet with a great view over the roofs of Trieste. Very recommendable.

My cousin and I spent three wonderful nights in this charming Bed & Breakfast in Trieste. The accommodation is extremely central: in just 15 minutes on foot you can reach the train station, and in just 5 minutes you are in the city center. Perfect for city explorers! We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and immediately provided with helpful excursion tips. The room had a lot of charm, was very clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast is served in the shared kitchen, and Davide really made sure we were well taken care of. His cappuccino was an absolute delight – I looked forward to it every morning. Thank you very much, Davide! On the day of departure, we were able to leave our luggage at the accommodation without any problems, which allowed us to make the most of our time in the city until the last minute. The way to the train station was then a breeze, and from there you can reach the airport in just 30 minutes. In summary, we had a wonderful time in this great city and would definitely come back. The value for money is unbeatable, and the accommodation exudes typical Italian charm. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant accommodation in a top location! We rested well. The accommodation is a nice haven of peace from which you can explore the city very well. The owner is super nice, helpful, and gives valuable tips! Older travelers should know that there is some stair climbing to do: but we had no problem, especially since the owner always carried our luggage! Breakfast is partly shared with other travelers in the common room with kitchen, which may be a bit unusual or noisy - but it offers exchange! There is a daily room cleaning with towel change, etc., which was not necessary "for our level" and maybe even "a bit too much of a good thing"; -)) For environmental reasons, I recommend a more sparing use of resources, more consistent waste separation, slightly less individually packaged food, and would prefer more fresh products (croissants or similar). But still a top accommodation! It is also worth mentioning positively that you can make yourself a tea in the kitchen and use the kitchen equipment. Thank you very much for everything!

Great structure, recently renovated accommodation, perfect cleanliness and very good breakfast. 5 minutes on foot and you are in the center, third floor without elevator, the only downside. The garage is essential. Davide, the owner, is very nice and ready to give useful information. I would definitely return.

Davide's property has an enviable location, everything you need is within walking distance. Davide is very nice, helpful, and makes you feel at home. It is an authentic B&B in an old building. The garage under the house is a great strength. Highly recommended.

The B&B Gens Julia is a small and cozy place. Our stay went smoothly. The highlight of the property is definitely Davide, the manager, who, thanks to his friendliness and kindness, made our stay in Trieste much more enjoyable.

The structure is located in a very central position, just steps from Piazza Unità d'Italia, and has a convenient private garage (at a very honest daily price) which is very useful as it is hard to find parking in the area. The owner is very kind and very helpful in everything (including local gastronomic suggestions); the breakfast is absolutely adequate, as is the cleanliness. The only downside is that the double bed is a bit too low. It should be noted that the structure is located on the third floor, without an elevator, in an old building, so going up and down could be a limitation to consider when making a choice. For everything else, absolutely recommendable for enjoying the stay in a beautiful city.

The manager was very helpful, even though I arrived almost at midnight. The room is welcoming and charming, complete and comfortable, very clean. The breakfast is abundant and well-prepared in a really beautiful room.

Everything ok, clean, helpful manager, sweet and savory breakfast! I just want to point out, for any elderly guests, that it is on the third floor without an elevator. Also, when you arrive, look for the street and house number (Gens Julia) and be aware that there is no place to stop for a moment with the car... city center!

The manager is a helpful, precise, and down-to-earth person. The room for three people (with a bathroom) was comfortable, spacious, and above all super clean. Simple but plentiful breakfast. I recommend also booking the garage (which has an extra cost, but more than fair) because there are no parking options.

Despite the lack of an elevator, it represents a smart and satisfying choice for those who want to be in the center. The availability of the garage is a great convenience. The room was clean and well-equipped. The manager is a very kind and caring person. We also appreciated the care in the choice of breakfast dishes.

We found a very clean room and bathroom, and the central location of the structure allowed us to move around the city center on foot very easily. We appreciated the option to have the garage for the car at a fair daily price. The manager and the mother were very kind, helpful, and ready to solve any request. The only thing to report, which was absolutely not a problem for us, is the location of the apartment on the third floor and the lack of an elevator.

Having to go for treatments at Casa di Cura Salus, I stayed in this very charming Bed and Breakfast located just a few meters from the healthcare facility. Very convenient to leave the car in the spacious garage on the ground floor and then be able to walk around without having to find parking nearby (difficult!).\nThe manager, Davide, was very caring, kind, and helpful in providing me with the information I needed. My room was very comfortable, bright, well-kept in detail, and spotless.\nThe abundant breakfast enjoyed on the sunny terrace and the coffee served at the table by the manager himself added an extra touch to the already very pleasant stay.\nHighly recommended!

The Bed and Breakfast Gens Julia is located just a short walk from the center of Trieste, easy and convenient to reach to immerse yourself in the evening nightlife or stroll in Piazza Grande. The possibility of parking is a great added value, given the scarcity of parking spaces. The owner contacts us the day before to offer his availability and it was a beautiful and valuable acquaintance. The B&B is warm and welcoming, the attention to detail in the furnishings make it charming with a touch of antiquity. The lady is generous with advice even on shopping and we women liked this. Right quality price ratio, I highly recommend it.

The structure is very pleasant, truly in a central location, clean, and with an abundant breakfast. Davide was very kind and also gave us useful advice. Do not be scared by the three flights of stairs and the decrepit door. I highly recommend it.

The B&B is located in an ancient building in the city center, with the pros and cons of all buildings in the city center. Very convenient parking, which the owner.

What can I say, we had a great time. The place was very clean and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The B&B is close to the city center, with the only downside being that there are no stairs and since it is on the third floor, it can be a bit tiring, but we are used to it. Davide was very kind, he provided us with information about the city, and he did not let us miss anything for breakfast. Even the decaffeinated tea for me, which is not even found in the best bars. The city is charming, you all have to visit it. We fell in love with it.
