Sweet Room

I stayed in Sweet Room for a month in October 2024 and liked the place. The location is just a few bus stops from the center of Bologna and there is a very good and convenient bus connection to different parts of the city. The host is kind and helpful which made my stay comfortable. The room is clean and the surrounding is peaceful and quiet. The price was affordable. I recommend Sweet Room for both short and longer stays.

The owner was kind and helpful. We had some problems since we came during a cold season, but with Emanuele's cooperation we resolved them. Sometimes just talking is enough to overcome inconveniences. Breakfast was not served on the premises but at Bar Matteo, whose owner, Matteo, is very friendly and welcoming. It was a nice experience.

The room is located in a somewhat old building, but it is very clean and having a private bathroom in the room was very convenient. It is also in a location that allows you to reach anything in Bologna within a few minutes (by bike or by bus).

Areas for improvement: - Cleanliness is a critical point. - Some maintenance work could greatly enhance the property, making it more welcoming.

The structure is in a good location, but this time I do not want to give evaluations on the structure or location, but on the great kindness and availability of the manager. He is attentive to issues and ready to solve them even if they are not his responsibility. Thank you. 5 stars would be too few for his professionalism.

A simple room, comfortable bed, hot water, beautiful courtyard, very close to the bus stop, the bus goes to the center in just 12 minutes. Excellent trattoria nearby with Bolognese dishes.

The bathroom needs renovation and cleaning (we found black hairs everywhere), the WiFi doesn't work at all.

The structure needs renovation work in the bathroom and common areas. The manager is kind and punctual.

Emanuele was a very kind and helpful host in providing information about the place. The accommodation is centrally located, close to bus stops. Outside there is a nice garden, a pity that sometimes there are many mosquitoes. I would suggest in the summer period to provide a fan (even the small ones) and better lighting in the room.

Humble but very welcoming, clean and functional accommodation. The manager is truly very helpful, friendly, and kind. You can count on him for everything (a truly precious element in a city like Bologna. Very convenient location due to the proximity to the bus stop and to the train stop at San Vitale station. Definitely recommended stay.
