We loved our stay here. The room was very clean and big. Big and clean bathroom. Nice hot shower. Very friendly owners and rest of the staff. Good internet access. We loved the staff in the restaurant too (breakfast is served here). Every morning a big smile from the ladies and on the day of our departure a hug and a kiss. The breakfast is an Italian breakfast. Good coffee and tea + a range of sweet cakes, and pies to choose from. When you like sweet in the morning. You can eat your heart out. There was also a free parking spot (even for our big van) Shops are nearby.

Just perfect! We stayed in October for two days at Mulino degli Orti and it was all perfect, very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast is in the neighbouring restaurant where we also had a tasty supper. You can easily reach the center of Piacenza on foot, a city which is not only worth a trip by itself but also a good starting point for trips into the region. Many thanks also to the staff for their kindness and wonderful hospitality. We felt very welcome and at home.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The room was beautiful, clean and equipped with all comforts. We had a great time! The food was also excellent, with generous, tasty portions and very fast service. Rino and his family welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. Great welcome, excellent rooms completely renovated and very clean. In my opinion, the dining/breakfast area could be modernized by adding some protein options at breakfast, such as boiled eggs, ham or yogurt; but perhaps this is not in line with the price or guests are not looking for that service. Overall, I would return; in fact, I will probably return.

We had a great experience both in terms of the structure and the human aspect. The area is very close to the place we needed to go and also near the center. There is parking inside the courtyard and there is also a lounge with a TV where you can work on the computer or have lunch/dinner. For the restaurant, you just need to cross the courtyard, the quality of the food is very good and the price is reasonable.

What can I say... The B&B is undergoing renovation, the room is basic in furnishings but extremely functional. The heating is working (and that is not common) and is easily manageable. The staff is extremely kind and helpful (and that is also not common). When needed, the kitchen is absolutely worth trying, good and economical. In conclusion... If needed, I will definitely return. Therefore, a positive judgment.

What can I say? We stayed at this facility because my mother had to undergo a procedure at the Otological Group. I really do not know how to thank the entire staff for their great availability, kindness, patience, and friendliness. The family treatment that is no longer fashionable in other places is the highlight here. The rooms are very clean, air-conditioned, comfortable, and spacious. The homemade food is delicious, and the warmth of the family running the facility is incredible. Thank you again for everything, and a hug to Simona.

We stayed one night on the occasion of the Tour de France passing through. Family-run structure very clean, spacious bright room, large modern windowed bathroom, air conditioning, TV and fridge. Excellent value for money. Convenient location, the center is easily reachable on foot. Internal parking, alternatively in front there is a square with numerous parking spaces. The structure has a restaurant, run by the same owners, excellent homestyle cuisine, delicious homemade tortelli and much more! We felt at home! Excellent welcome, friendliness, and great availability. The structure welcomes pets with courtesy and great availability. We absolutely recommend staying even if just passing through! We thank all the staff from the bottom of our hearts, we had a great time.

If you want to take a step back in time, I recommend considering the Mulino degli Orti and their restaurant. It is definitely a place for travelers with imagination and poetry. The owners are kind and helpful, the restaurant has a vintage feel and a family atmosphere. Homely food. Not suitable for those without an open-minded traveler's spirit.

They were super friendly from the first moment, helped us with the luggage, the rooms were clean and had a stove, a refrigerator, centralized heating, and kitchen utensils. The breakfast was delicious and everyone was very friendly. We had to take care of some procedures after check-in and they allowed us to leave the luggage. It is the best place to stay in Piacenza, we have no doubts that we will return.

Following an operation, unable to drive and working in the same area, I stayed at Mulino degli Orti for almost 3 weeks. I really enjoyed my stay, they were very kind and caring towards me. My room was very spacious, I even had two extra beds, with a TV, air conditioning, and minibar. Top breakfast with their fresh and delicious cakes, so excellent value for money and definitely an experience to recommend.

I stayed here in the months of September and October for three days each week. An ideal solution for me, as I have a part-time vertical job in Piacenza. Foolishly, I then sought an 'independent' solution by going to a studio apartment in the center for 5 months. Now April is near and I will return to Mulino degli Orti, always regretting having 'betrayed' them. What can I say about the managers? An extraordinary availability, always ready to help you. Ideal location whether you arrive by car or by train, it is still close to the center, great restaurant and excellent value for money. I won't 'betray' them anymore!

We stayed here for 7 nights due to a surgical procedure. The property is well-kept and comfortable, with spacious rooms equipped with air conditioning and good wifi. The restaurant's cuisine is simple and genuine. The shuttle service to the Piacenza clinic was excellent, as we were on foot, it was a great help. I recommend it.

It has spacious and very spacious, clean, and bright rooms, or apartments with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Everything is very simple in the furnishings but the price is truly competitive in a city like Piacenza (which cannot be defined as cheap!). The city is very small and human-sized, so the distances are always ridiculous, 2 km from the center! Tip: better not to miss one of their dinners if you are staying overnight! Quality guaranteed! Home cooking! No tricks and no deception! Generous! Embarrassing kindness. Real delicacies! Brilliant family management.

We stayed on December 31. The price offered for the holiday period was very appealing. The stay was pleasant, the structure is adequate for the proposed price, good the breakfast offered and the variety of products. The temperature inside the room, very warm given the period of the stay, is to be praised.

Slightly outside Piacenza but well connected and easily reachable from the train station and highway. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff, both for the rooms and the food (excellent and even too abundant). Perhaps, and this is why I gave a seven, I would expand the breakfast food offer a bit. Not the quality, which is also excellent, but the variety and availability. And a big thank you to Simona, wonderful co-owner, whose availability and professionalism deserve the entire stay. I will highly recommend it to all my friends soon.

The structure is very old, the room door is glass and closes poorly. Not very clean room, with cigarette smell, hair in the bathroom, very noisy because the window faces the street, not equipped with double glazing. For breakfast, dry croissants and dirty glasses. Expensive for this service.

Very kind, helpful staff, attentive to guests' needs. The first evening we arrived late (at 23.30). They waited for us and kept the restaurant (owned by them) open to let us have dinner even though it was very late.\n\nWe definitely recommend it. Optimal location for moving around.

I gave a slightly lower rating to the breakfast because it is not European, it doesn't have those alternatives that make foreigners happy. Strengths, in addition to the kindness of the staff, the connected restaurant, dinner is excellent and at really moderate prices! The cleanliness is more than sufficient but not perfect, if someone wants perfection it is better to look elsewhere but will find significantly higher prices.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Mulino degli Orti for the New Year's holiday and I must admit that besides being easily reachable on foot from the center and the station, it is also a very nice place and it is a comfortable and lovely structure. The staff is very friendly and everyone is available for any customer needs. The quality-price ratio is excellent, the rooms are cleaned every day and always heated. I highly recommend it to everyone.
