What a tranquil, lovely setting. We were made to feel at home. Very clean, roomy, convenient accommodations in a neighborhood with good access to excellent restaurants, near the center. Lots of stairs to climb, but we were fine with that. Many keys to manage, but that was "fun." Breakfast was plentiful, and good quality. We'd stay there again.

Here at Le Stanze di Sara, you are well, here you are well! I was here for the World choir meeting Various Voices, and was thankful for a quiet place to return to, after the milling and the bustle of the festival. It is a pleasure to stay in the spacious room, looking out to the quiet courtyard and garden, shielded from the noise and traffic of the city. The bed is new and comfortable, in the morning, you hear the birds singing (in Italian of course), in hot weather, thanks to the trees, the air from the garden is cool and soothing. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and well equipped, breakfast gives you all you need for a good start in a perfect 'Bologna'-day! The location is convenient, around the corner is via del Pratello with restaurants and little shops, where the locals go, and the shopping street of via Ugo Baldi, with Piazza Maggiore at its end, is just a short walk away. Sara and her husband are lovely hosts, attentive and caring, Sara has good advice of what to do and see in the city, and she can give you some ideas about highlights all around Italy. When coming back to Bologna one day, i am sure to stay at Sara's stanza! Thank you, Sara, and goodbye!

Very nice place and hosts. The property feels very safe behind the gates. The breakfast was not as described. It was absolutely not delicious. Dry biscuits and everlasting muffins stood on the table all the time. But we could use the capsule machine for coffee and there was yogurt in the fridge.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had a great time, it was a perfect location, lovely and central whilst also being nice and quiet.

Le Stanze di Sara is a real gem in Bologna! Beautiful room with a magnificent balcony and garden view. All this in the heart of the city. Very quiet. You can visit the whole city on foot from this location. The hosts are so friendly and give you a real welcome feeling. Like staying with family. I would love to go back there!

I stayed with Sara and Alessandro for two weeks while I was studying in Bologna. It was such a pleasure to return to the garden and the terrace in the evening to chat with Sara and Alessandro after a long day of studying and sightseeing in the heat of Bologna. They are both more than willing to help with any requests you may have. The apartment is extremely well appointed and Sara provides beautiful home made cakes and yoghurt, fruit, fruit juices and croissants which are available at any time. I have no hesitation in recommending Le Stanze di Sara to anyone who needs accommodation in Bologna.

The hosts were extremely warm and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We also loved in particular the beautiful terrace, which was all for us! The property is very well located in the city centre but located in the back of a building complex surrounded by trees and birds, so you have the impression of being in complete nature.

Le Stanze di Sara is a wonderful B&B in a wonderful city. It is located in a very busy street in the center, but once you go through the gate, you come in a very pleasant and quiet garden, where you will find the B&B behind a second gate. We had a good, very clean room with a large quiet balcony full of plants and flowers, and full shadow. The whole house is decorated in a very personal style, with many pictures and little statues. The host Sarah and her husband and son are very friendly and hospitable. Parking is very difficult in Bologna: you can park for a reasonable tariff at 10 minutes walking distance in the Parking Riva di Reno. In Bologna you don't need a car: everything is at walking distance.

We had a lovely stay here. Sara was extremely welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The balcony off the room had a charming view! It was close to the centre of town and the attraction. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent welcome. Accommodation, in the city center, but in a tree-lined private courtyard so quiet. Well served, restaurants right next door, 10 minutes walk from the historic heart. It's really perfect. Well-equipped kitchen.\nOnly small downside: the accommodation is located, as in most large Italian cities, in a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) so be careful not to enter this area otherwise fine. You have to find a parking. We found one, cheaper than those nearby, for 5€ per day: Parking Tanari Via Tanari, 17. Then you have to take bus 29 (2€ per ticket) which drops us off nearby (stop Ugo Bassi or Porta Lame).

Excellent accommodation, in the city center, but in a private tree-lined courtyard so quiet. Beautiful quality structure like all the equipment. Large room, high ceiling, two windows. Beautiful decoration. Well served, and restaurants right next door. It's really perfect. Well-equipped kitchen.

Nous voudrions féliciter Sara Sabattini pour son accueil et sa gentillesse dans son établissement. Elle a TOUT fait pour que le séjour se passe au mieux: une grande attention de sa part sur nos besoins (petit-déjeuner, eau, fruits...). La camera "Romantica" est superbe et très confortable avec un balcon fleurie qui donne sur les toits de Bologne. Cette magnifique vue et l'emplacement très accessible ont fait que nous n'avions absolument pas besoin de transports en commun pour nous déplacer. J'ai déjà envoyé une évaluation depuis l'Italie mais elle n'a pas été acceptée car elle ne venait pas de la France. Nous sommes rentrés d'Italie il y a peu de jours, d'où le retard dans l'envoi de ces commentaires. Si nous l'occasion de retourner à Bologne, nous ferions appel à Sara pour une chambre sans aucune hésitation.

Highly recommended accommodation. In a very quiet area, ideal for resting. A few minutes from the center and at the same time close to the station. Very large room and bathroom. The bathroom was private but not connected to the room. The owners were very kind and friendly. The only thing to improve is the wifi connection.

I had a good time on my first trip to Bologna. The manager is very kind, the room was perfect, I always found breakfast ready to start my tours. Recommended for those who want to find a quiet place in the wonderful Bologna.

A corner of peace in the middle of greenery, behind Piazza Maggiore. Clean, welcoming. It has a very well-equipped kitchen for every need: coffee (both moka and electric machine), tea, herbal teas, juices, yogurt, corn flakes. The room where I stayed has a French door with flowers on the balcony and a view of the garden and the ancient part of Bologna. The owner is a dear person. Kind, helpful, and discreet. You won't find better. I recommend this property to everyone.

I often go to Bologna and every time it has always been difficult to find a place where to stop with tranquility and above all have the comforts that we always look for when we are traveling, both for work and for pleasure. However, I have finally found my fixed point every time I return to Bologna. The house, the bedrooms, and the bathrooms are very clean, a rarity for frequent travelers. The location is central, allowing you to move around easily on foot and is well equipped with everything you need. In short, Mrs. Sara and her husband are two fantastic people who offer a service worthy of the name. Highly recommended.

Sara and Alessandra are very kind people and their small Bed and Breakfast is pleasant and offers a great place to explore the center, which is easily reachable on foot.

The Bed and Breakfast "Le Stanze di Sara" is a structure located in the wonderful historical center, surrounded by a green oasis where looking out the window rejuvenates the soul. It is a short distance from the main squares of Bologna so there is no need to move around by car or public transport (very efficient). I spent a few days but they were enough to enrich my cultural baggage. Surely my wife and I will return to Bologna hoping to stay again in this splendid dwelling. A compliment to the managers and owners of this structure who, besides being friendly people, are of a unique kindness.

Great location, nothing was missing inside the house. Just that the rooms seem much larger in the photos, but still very nice.

I discovered an incredible place in the center of Bologna: a palace with a beautiful garden and a very nice large room. The view of the trees was wonderful. Above all, the welcome from Sara and her husband was extraordinary. Thank you very much for this wonderful stay.

Relaxing place and excellent hospitality from the owners, convenient being inside a courtyard on a central arched street 5/10 minutes walk from piazza grande. The only jarring note concerns breakfast, too basic to feel on vacation. No big deal, we opted for a pampering breakfast at a nearby bakery.

My stay at Le Stanze di Sara was excellent from all points of view.

The landlady is very kind and caring, she has a big heart. The room is cozy and comfortable, and during the night you can enjoy a pleasant quiet. However, in the morning it can be a bit noisy due to ongoing cleaning, which does not make it suitable for those who need to concentrate or want to stay in the room to rest. The Italian breakfast is delicious, but unfortunately it does not include organic or ecological products, and it comes with a large number of plastic packaging. To reach the accommodation from the station you need to walk a bit, but you can take the bus to reduce the distance to travel. In addition, the accommodation is located on the fourth floor without an elevator.

Central location just a stone's throw away from the main attractions and nightlife. Clean and spacious room. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. A special mention for the two owners, very kind and always available, thank you for making us feel at home.

The b&b is located on a central street in Bologna, a 10-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, in an apartment on the third floor of a building located inside a courtyard. Since there is no elevator, one must climb stairs, which can be a disadvantage for those with mobility issues or traveling with heavy luggage. The rooms are very beautiful, bright, and equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms where my mother, sisters, and I stayed had a private bathroom with access from the common corridor, which we already knew from reading the b&b's website, so, no problem. Due to covid, breakfast was not served in the morning, so we had to prepare it ourselves using the kitchen where necessary items were available. We also had to wash dirty cups and make the beds. Now, considering that all covid-related restrictions for accommodation facilities have long been lifted, it is unclear why this b&b still considers them in effect. Even if wanting to continue to respect these restrictions, since we were not the only guests in the property, it would have been more appropriate for someone from the b&b to serve us breakfast or, if not possible, provide us with vouchers for consumption at a bar. The same goes for the bedrooms and bathrooms that were never cleaned during our stay. Despite these observations, the stay at the b&b was pleasant. The managers, moreover, are truly friendly people. Just think that before departure, while waiting for the taxi to the airport, the owner gave us the opportunity to eat a sandwich in the garden below, also offering us a bottle of wine. A gesture that we greatly appreciated. In conclusion, our overall assessment of the b&b is positive although with some reservations.

Here nothing is missing to fully experience the atmosphere of the magnificent historic center of Bologna and feel like inhabitants of this beautiful city for a few days. The welcome is warm, simple, and sincere. When you leave, you think of coming back soon.

La struttura è esattamente come apprendista nelle foto. Camere spaziose e bello spazio esterno. Consigliato.

Il B&B si trova in un contesto molto bello in mezzo al verde, silenzioso, a 10 minuti da Piazza Maggiore. La padrona di casa è gentilissima e disponibile. Camera e bagno erano piccolini, ma puliti e dotati di tutto; le altre camere sono più grandi ma con il bagno esterno alla stanza (sempre privato), noi abbiamo preferito avere il bagno interno. La colazione si può fare in autonomia con cucina e microonde a disposizione; ottima la torta fatta in casa.

Abbiamo passato un week end bellissimo, le camere super comode, luminose ma soprattutto pulite. Il padrone di casa gentilissimo e disponibile, da tornarci, consigliatissimo, grazie ancora!

Posizione bellissima, tranquilla e riparata dalla strada, eppure a poca distanza dal centro e dai principali luoghi da visitare in città. Ottima accoglienza e disponibilità, colazione abbondante e camera molto bella.

Ho soggiornato a capodanno con il mio ragazzo, siamo stati molto felici della scelta fatta. Ottima accoglienza da parte proprietari, la stanza pulita e accogliente, anche la colazione è abbondante e con scelta varia. Lo consiglio ben volentieri!

Ho soggiornato con mio marito per una sola notte in questo B&B, nella camera con bagno e terrazzino, tutto molto pulito e curato, anche se non nuovissimo, ma meraviglioso, ci si sente un po' come a casa, grazie all'ospitalità ed alla gentilezza dei gestori che curano ogni particolare. Essendo nel centro storico non c'è possibilità di parcheggio ma a poche centinaia di metri c'è un grande parcheggio multipiano dove lasciare l'auto al di fuori della ztl. Esperienza positiva, lo consiglio.

Gestori cortesissimi e disponibili, camera (Romantica) spaziosa, ben arredata, silenziosa. In ottima posizione, in un angolo meraviglioso, al riparo da traffico, a dieci minuti dal centro. Ottimo tutto.

Il B&B sorge in un angolo talmente grazioso da far dimenticare di essere in centro a Bologna. La posizione rientrata rispetto alla strada principale rende la struttura piacevolmente tranquilla e silenziosa. I gestori, marito e moglie, sono due persone deliziose! Gentili e disponibili per ogni esigenza. Le camere sono veramente graziose e la pulizia è impeccabile! Colazione abbondante e pronta a soddisfare ogni necessità, intolleranza o allergia di ogni genere. Se dovessi risoggiornare a Bologna sarà sicuramente la prima struttura che ricontatterò!

I proprietari sono garbati e premurosi. La stanza matrimoniale, con bagno e terrazzo dove abbiamo pernottato, è spaziosa e confortevole. Cucina, frigo e microonde a disposizione. Colazione completa, abbondante e per tutti i gusti, arricchita anche da un bel dolce preparato dalla signora Sara. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Lo consigliamo vivamente!

Mio marito ed io abbiamo trascorso una fine settima entusiasmante nella suite "Le Stanze di Sara". Segnaliamo volentieri i pregi di questo luogo incantato, nel cuore della città: la tranquillità della camera, essendo in un cortile interno, molto gradevole l'accoglienza, perfetta l'autonomia di movimento anche in cucina, strepitoso il letto con materasso Dorelan e il bagno in camera dotato di una grande doccia. Fantastica la parure di lenzuola. E per finire, deliziosa colazione autonoma in terrazzo.

Delizioso appartamento all'interno di un silenzioso e verde cortile al centro di Bologna. Noi eravamo in coppia e nella stanza migliore quella con bagno in camera e terrazza sui tetti. Camera comoda e spaziosa così come il bagno. Proprietari gentili ed ospitali. Colazione industriale ed autogestita ed unico neo che non sono state effettuate pulizie tra la prima e la seconda notte. Per il resto tutto perfetto! Consigliatissimo!

Il nostro soggiorno presso le Stanza di Sara è stato breve ma davvero piacevole. La struttura si trova a pochi passi dal centro di Bologna, pur rimanendo in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Bella la stanza, con un grande terrazzo privato e dotata, su richiesta, di un lettino per la mia bimba. Ottima la colazione e molto disponibile e attenta la signora Sara, la proprietaria.

La struttura è al centro, silenziosa e pulita. La stanza piccola ma graziosa. La colazione ottima e abbondante, dal dolci come le torte fatte dalla signora Sara, frutta, salumi etc. L'accoglienza è stata ottima, la signora è molto cordiale e ti verrebbe voglia di stare a chiacchierare con lei come se fosse un'amica che conosci da tempo. Lo consiglio.

Abbiamo soggiornato io e una mia amica per il cosmoprof, i gestori sono molto accoglienti e simpatici, la camera è molto elegante e pulita. La cucina sullo stesso piano è a disposizione e sempre ben fornita sopratutto per la colazione quando tornerò a Bologna prenoterò sicuramente di nuovo qui!

Ottima ospitalità, in pieno centro e in pieno silenzio al contempo, relax assoluto.. e fuori la città pulsa di vita! Consigliatissimo.

Posto magnifico per posizione, tranquillità, bellezza degli ambienti. Importante il posto auto gratuito in giardino e chiuso. Il gestore gentilissimo, premuroso, attento ad ogni esigenza del cliente e, nello stesso tempo, riservato. Assoluta libertà di gestire l'orario della colazione. Molto soddisfatti, torneremo a Bologna e sosteremo nuovamente lì. Non solo: segnaleremo la struttura anche a conoscenti ed amici esigenti.

Sistemato in una via centrale e tranquillissima, l'ideale per visitare Bologna a piedi. Le stanze sono molto carine e pulitissime, ed è stato un piacere svegliarsi la mattina e trovare ogni giorno una diversa torta fatta in casa dalla dolcissima Sara. In questo B&B ci si sente a casa!

Le stanze sono molto belle, la pulizia è da 10 e lode, la posizione è strategica per chi vuole vivere la città. Un ringraziamento a Sara per tutte le torte che ha preparato. Consigliatissimo!

Vi si accede dai portici di via San Felice e si entra in un giardino pieno di verde in pieno centro di Bologna. La stanza era molto bella e arredata con gusto, il posto è molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Mi ci sono trovato veramente bene anche grazie alla squisita ospitalità e disponibilità dei gestori. Che dire, un motivo in più per tornare a Bologna.
