An absolutely beautiful home, tastefully decorated with charming vintage finds, set in a peaceful location right in the heart of nature. The spacious garden is full of cozy corners—perfect for reading or relaxing outdoors. The pool has stunning views. Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even invited our children to help prepare dinner, which was delicious and a wonderful experience for them. We had such a lovely and memorable stay—highly recommended!

I really cannot fault La Buca. An utterly delightful small farm with just a few rooms, the quality of accommodation is beautiful and the host, Andra, is so welcoming. As much as possible of the food both at breakfast and dinner, if requested, is produced on the property. The quality and standard is excellent and Andra's meatballs from her own pigs are out of this world! I could not rate it higher, and we have stayed in a lot of high-end hotels and visited top restaurants. Plus there's a pool for the kids. What more could you ask for? A wonderful place for a few days respite, near the beautiful city of Bologna and on the doorstep to Tuscany.

La Buca is an enchanting property surrounded by nature. Andra and Mauro are very kind people, full of consideration and attentiveness. The view from the pool is spectacular. All the animals at the B&B (horses, capelle, parrots, small birds), but above all the little dog Oliver, are beautiful. We spent a wonderful week. A wonderful experience. Andra and Mauro are two fantastic and very kind people. The structure was immersed in nature and surrounded by silence. Truly an excellent solution for those who want to get away from the urban chaos. We will definitely return.

The accommodation is very nice and the owners are kind and helpful. The pool is freely available but a bit neglected with overgrown plants that cover the view and it is infested with flies and not very enjoyable, perhaps due to the proximity to the small stable, which you can also smell strongly in the internal courtyard. The structure could offer much more and looking at their social media profiles, it seems that in the past they offered activities such as aperitifs and dinners, but none of this is mentioned upon arrival, where they just hand you the keys and that is it, without offering any services at all. It is a bit of a shame, but perhaps after so many years they preferred a more detached approach to avoid being too involved with the affairs. After all, even the very late check-in serves the owners to take small trips or outings during the day, while the arrival of a guest is sometimes seen as a nuisance.

Immersed in the green hills between Bologna and Modena, this country house is the ideal place for those who want to relax and unwind. Andra and Mauro are very kind and make you feel at home right away. We particularly appreciated the breakfast with local products and homemade sweets and as for the pool, the tranquility of the surroundings. Their dog Oliver is adorable. We will recommend this special place.

All wonderful! Andra and her husband are very kind, always available to help. The region is very interesting with many things to do. Our room and its little garden were pleasant. We particularly liked: the visit to the vinegar factory, drinks whenever we want, breakfast (ham, jam, fruit juices...), dinner. Kisses to Oliver.

Beautiful place! Perfect for couples. Located 40 minutes from Bologna, it is surrounded by nature with a truly beautiful view. The place feels like a small city from another era: the vegetable garden, the stable, the animal enclosures, the pool with an amazing view, the indoor parking. Really lovely. The owners of the place are very kind, they even waited for us even though we arrived at 11 pm when the check-in was theoretically at 8 pm. The next day, the breakfast is very abundant and all homemade in buffet style with high quantity and quality. Well-kept, clean, and spacious rooms. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time! Thanks again to the owners, a 10/10 place.

If there is the concept of the "perfect B&B", it must be applied to the B&B "La Buca". Extremely clean, romantic, quiet, in a beautiful location: owners are nice, available, kind. Not a single detail out of place, all furnished in an old style but with great taste: we were truly very satisfied. Moreover, here you can find the real balsamic vinegar at correct prices.

If it had been possible, I would have given higher ratings, even though I gave the maximum. The structure is splendid, well-kept in every aspect but rustic and genuine. The location, unique, hidden at the top of the hills, an oasis. Andra and Mauro, the owners, two exquisite people, whom you immediately feel are friends, capable of making you feel at home in an instant. A piece of advice: light dinners, because Andra's breakfasts are amazing! Like anything you happen to taste, all produced by them. We just returned but it's a retreat we will return to as soon as possible.

I thought I could find a place like La Buca one day. Found it. The food is good, they produce what you eat, the vinegar factory, the olive trees, the birds, the animals, the rooms and the structure, welcoming and clean, excellent pool, which we could use given the sunny day, but what strikes are Andra and Mauro who transmit their passion to you, keep it up.

Despair was assailing us. It seemed that there was no correspondence between our Tom Tom and "La Buca". But finally, at a roundabout, my wife spotted a small sign. A dirt road led us to the "end of the world" (look at Google Maps!). And in the end, we found it: paradise on earth - La Buca. A wonderful place and splendid residence. And, last but not least, Andrea and Mauro, the icing on the cake. Breakfast, dinner, local wines, a little glass of liquor in their cozy kitchen, everything exquisite and abundant. A wonderful experience, impossible to forget. I am sure, really sure, that in a couple of years, I will once again travel that dirt road, humming "Stairway to Heaven" (by Led Zeppelin).
