Our B&B is placed at Reggio Emilia art and culture location, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a quiet, panoramic setting, in the heart of the city. "Il Cortese" is hospitable and comfortable.

Breakfast is in collaboration with Pasticceria DAVA on the corner of our street, winner of CAKE STAR 2021. Upon request we can also offer a rich breakfast in the structure, in the Italian tradition. On the table you can find coffee, tea, cappuccino, milk, biscuits, bread, butter and jam, cake, yogurt and cereals! But for any other needs do not hesitate to ask because we will be happy to provide!

All good: hosts and property, excellent price for the quality. Only downside are the stairs but nothing so important, 2nd floor is ok by stairs.

All very well. Very clean. They do not accept card payments. It's centrally located, but a 30-minute walk from Reggio train station. Breakfast is at a bar on the same street. A coffee and a croissant. It doesn't have an elevator and it's on the second floor.

In struttura sono segnalate le numerose linee bus e il numero del taxi per potersi muovere agevolmente in città. La colazione prevede caffè o cappuccino e brioche, ma per lo stesso importo si può chiedere anche una colazione salata o più abbondante con l'aggiunta di una differenza. Buona serata!

Located 100 meters from a large paid parking lot (6 euros for 24 hours), you are almost immediately in the central area. Nice room, tidy and clean; only drawback, but this is a matter of personal taste: I found the mattress very firm, too firm for my liking. Fantastic breakfast; you have a voucher for the pastry shop located 20 meters away.

I stayed one night in this B&B after a concert at the Arena of Campovolo. Strategic location to get to the concert. Parking at the Zucchi barracks is €6 per day and 200 meters away. We took the bus to the arena and after 3 stops you get to the train station and continue for another 1.5 km. On the way back from the arena to the B&B it took us an hour. The room and the bathroom are clean and very nice. I recommend it!

I stayed at this B&B for a few nights and the experience was simply fantastic. Welcoming environment, impeccable cleanliness, and attention to detail that really makes a difference. The apartment at “Il Cortese” is absolutely delightful. It is well furnished, very clean, and very comfortable. Nothing is missing at all. Additionally, it is easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The owner was very kind and friendly, and communication with her was easy and quick. Highly recommended.

At 80 euros, breakfast at the bar includes a coffee or cappuccino and a simple pastry, otherwise you pay an extra even for a simple glass of water. Having breakfast at the hotel without having to go out in Reggio Emilia, where you don't have to pay for parking with 90 euros, is much better. The structure is old, the stairs smell bad, there is no bathroom in the room! Absolutely to avoid, there are many hotels where you are much better and the cost is slightly higher.

Buonasera signori, desidero specificarvi che, la colazione, se ritenuta non gradita o non adeguata, si poteva decurtare dal costo del soggiorno e che il bagno, esterno camera ma ad uso esclusivo, è chiaramente segnalato nella scheda del B&B così pure come la posizione ZTL. Mi spiace che inosservate, invece, vi siano passate le premure per voi, come la stanza particolarmente fresca al vostro arrivo, la disponibilità sull'uscita oltre orario e il permesso ztl gratuito. La parte della scala, come avrete certamente notato dall'attrezzatura è in ristrutturazione. Non credo sia una struttura "assolutamente da evitare" l'appartamento è stato ristrutturato recentemente con gusto e valorizzando le caratteristiche delle abitazioni del centro storico. Una specifica anche sulla pulizia: ad ogni cambio ospite materassi e cuscini sono sempre sanificati, e cambiati di frequente, come pure i sanitari con vapore a 100 gradi, cosa che ci auguriamo avvenga anche negli alberghi. A beautiful room, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need, is located in this B&B. The cleanliness is excellent and the manager is helpful and flexible. The location is good, right in the center. The only downside is the ZTL. The B&B is located in a full ZTL and not only was I not informed beforehand, but it does not offer the possibility of parking or a pass. Breakfast is included and is excellent, but needs to be taken outside. Despite this, I believe that the merits outweigh the flaws and I will return soon to enjoy this B&B.

The house is very cozy, we stayed 4 adults, 2 boys and a girl, the location is great just a short walk from the historic center and the bus stop very close, the landlady is very friendly, we will definitely return.

Beautiful house, the lady who welcomed us was really welcoming and hospitable. The bathroom is not in the room but is well organized right in front of the room. The location is strategic, just a stone's throw from the center with nearby public parking. Excellent impression. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

I stayed at "IL Cortese" for a few days because I had to assist my father during a difficult heart surgery, and I found a wonderful apartment, clean, quiet, and managed by delightful and friendly people who made my difficult stay more bearable.
