"Galla Placidia B&B" is a hospitable structure with refined attention to detail.
Surroundings:
The area in which we are located and the surrounding places offer our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the colors and lights of the shopping streets, be surprised by the creations of our artisans, enjoy the view of the places and experience the flavors of the place thanks to the various food and wine itineraries , participate in numerous cultural events and unmissable exhibitions by getting lost in museums and exhibition spaces.
A few steps from the structure there are the main UNESCO heritage monuments: the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia

Many things were very good at Galla Placidia. The room is very clean and quiet. The central location is superb. There are two minor difficulties. There are a lot of stairs to climb and there are no comfortable chairs to sit in.

Our host Gabriella welcomed us very well, was good advice for visits to do, very smiling always available for information. Really a pleasant meeting and a pleasure in a very well located accommodation, close to the parking (cheap) and the city center.

The B&B is located in the heart of Ravenna, a 15-minute walk from the station. The location is excellent because it allows easy access to all the city center's tourist attractions (very convenient since it is mostly pedestrianized despite being compact) and it is a short walk from the square where buses to the sea (Marina di Ravenna) depart. Mrs. Gabriella is an excellent host, very helpful and down-to-earth, attentive to all requests and needs. She is very knowledgeable about the sights and provides a good amount of material for visiting the city. The room we stayed in, although retro in style, is excellent: new air conditioning, beautiful parquet floors, lamps, power outlets and a bathroom with various improvements to make it modern. The hot and cold water supply is also very good. The bed with sheets and blanket is very good; a bit firm by my standards but still fine. No particular noise was noticed during the night, considering that the city is very frequented even after dinner. Entry and exit from the property are autonomous via a code entered on an electronic keypad next to the front door. There is also a terrace where you can hang some clothes or sit outside. Only one small note: the Wi‑Fi, which often lost signal especially late in the evening. Breakfast is offered in a bar a few steps from the property through a voucher system to be presented when ordering. The bar also has a selection of vegan pastries and almond or oat milk for any intolerances. In conclusion, a highly recommended property for spending a weekend or a few days in Ravenna.

We stayed at BeB Galla Placidia for three nights. The owner Gabriella, a wonderful person, made us feel at home. The main tourist attractions in Ravenna are very close. The breakfast is good and can be taken in a nearby bar with a lovely courtyard.

The B&B is located very close to some of the most important tourist destinations of Ravenna, including the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia from which it takes its name. From here starts Via Cavour, one of the main shopping streets. The rooms are located on the second floor of the apartment. Breakfast, currently (summer 2022), is served in a very good bar located a few blocks away, Caffè Corte Cavour. Bus 70 passes by the nearby square to go to the beach (Punta Marina and Marina di Ravenna).

Welcoming, helpful and very kind manager. The structure is in a very central yet quiet area, with a somewhat retro decor. I was in Ravenna for work/study, in a different context maybe I would have missed a TV in the room, instead equipped with a beautiful terrace. Recommended!

Nothing is missing, what you need is there. The structure is right in the city center, served by a large parking lot in the immediate vicinity, at 3€ per day (free on Sundays). If you want to go to the beach, no more than a 20-minute drive away are the Lidi Nord. The manager and owner (Mrs. Gabriella) of the structure is a pleasant and helpful person. The breakfast (included) can be enjoyed in one of the most beautiful and suggestive places just a few steps from the structure, in the center of Ravenna.

Located in a quiet area and close to everything, very spacious and spotlessly clean room. Mrs. Gabriella is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast served in a nearby bar is abundant.
