Chiacchiere

This is one of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed at. The design is clever, light and warm, with lovely artistic flourishes that make it stand head and shoulders above more expensive B&Bs elsewhere. Massimo and Simona, the hosts (and their sons), are so friendly and accommodating, with marvellous touches to make you feel at home (those Sicilian oranges, the cake). Piacenza is a lovely town; this B&B makes a stay there perfect.

The small apartment is enchantingly pretty and practically furnished. In addition, a modern refrigerator with refreshing drinks and fruit and a lovingly filled breakfast basket create a cozy atmosphere. A beautiful metal staircase leads past a small terrace (chatting corner) to the entrance door on the first floor. The hostess is very friendly and open to conversation, because "chatting" is, especially in Italy, vital.

I received excellent service. The owner is attentive and available for any need. The place is beautiful, new, clean and welcoming.

Simona, the owner, is very kind, incredibly friendly, and helpful. She welcomed us with wonderful touches that make you feel immediately at home. I stayed only one night but I will definitely return. Simona was impeccable! Very attentive to the needs of her guests!

Everything went as expected. The property is very nice and comfortable, 13 minutes by bus from the station and a 10-minute walk from Casa di Cura Piacenza, very close to the center; the Esselunga supermarket is a 5-minute walk away and there is a pharmacy nearby. The host is very welcoming and kind.
