We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Cento 19 in Ravenna. Ravenna is a lovely town with that has multiple UNESCO world heritage sites featuring gorgeously restored byzantine & early Christian mosaics. They are extraordinary!\n\nCentro19 was a wonderful place to stay while we explored the town. We arrived via train and walked about 20 minutes to the B&B using google maps for walking directions.\n\nOur room was large, clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of many sites and restaurants. Our host, Gabriele, was friendly and helpful.\n\nBreakfast was "light" with juice, coffee or tea and a pastry or porridge.\n\nNights were a bit warm and we realized after our stay that there are city and country ordinances regarding use of AC during the spring. We easily slept with the window open for comfort. The street below is a randomly noisy from passing cars but quiet later in the night. The smell of jasmine blooming outside the window was lovely!\n\nWe would definitely stay at Centro 19 again if we are ever in Ravenna again!

Cento19 is a Bed-and-breakfast place just outside of the historical center of Ravenna which can easily be reached by foot in about 5 min. I stayed there with my wife and we both liked the accommodation a lot. Gabriele is a very friendly host, speaks fluent English (our Italian is rather basic) and he prepares a breakfast which fulfills all wishes if you ask what is being offered. Latest the next day, it will be available! The green tea should specifically be mentioned because it was prepared in a glass teapot with freely swimming leaves and clearly the best green tea I had during the whole vacation (which included stays in Venice and Trieste). Furthermore, Gabriele supplied us with good ideas for tours into the Po delta area, the beaches, San Marino or of course about the city of Ravenna itself. The area felt quite safe and there are several options for parking in the vicinity at different cost levels starting from 1,50€ per day. The pricing for accommodation and breakfast is more than reasonable and we would choose Cento19 again if someday we want to return to Ravenna.

The B&B is located in an excellent position - about 1.2 km from the station (a walk that can be done easily) - it is in a quiet and pleasant area and is just a few minutes from gems such as the Basilica of San Vitale and the mausoleum of Galla Placidia. Very nice rooms. The lounge where breakfast is served is well furnished and makes you feel at home. The breakfast is spectacular, with fresh pastries! Very kind, helpful and friendly the owner, Gabriele. I will gladly return!

The structure is very welcoming, clean, tidy and functional, in an elegant area, not far from the main tourist attractions including the beautiful Basilica of San Vitale, the tomb of Galla Placidia and the National Archaeological Museum. Ravenna is stunning and the people of Ravenna are very welcoming and friendly. The host, Gabriele, is a kind, helpful, friendly person and made us feel at ease. If we were to return to Ravenna, we would be happy to stay again in this beautiful structure.

Structure used during a hospital stay. Rooms and private bathrooms of generous size perfectly clean and equipped with everything necessary. Breakfast area suitable and homey. Breakfast prepared directly by the manager with fresh brioche and bomboloni every morning. Mr. Gabriele proved to be very welcoming regarding our needs. We hope to return as his guests to visit the wonderful Ravenna.

We stayed for two days. The host Gabriele was very courteous and attentive to our needs. The rooms are spacious and equipped with services. There is also a kitchen available for guests. It is close to the center, the hospital, and a twenty-minute walk from the station. We will return.

B&B that requires severe and accurate maintenance and perhaps also renovation. The room is spacious but dated and has an uncomfortable mattress. In the bathroom, there is no hook for the shower of the bathtub and neither the curtain and I have said it all. You have to wash in installments. Broken mosquito nets, air conditioning from the Punic Wars and not working. Anti-robbery curtains: they are open and immovable. Breakfast served with moka coffee of terrible taste; we solved it by going to the nearest bar. To be chosen only for the location; for the rest, it is better to avoid. Congratulations to the manager!

Grazie per la dettagliata recensione. Avrei gradito riceverla anche dal vivo, non nascondendosi dietro una tastiera. Il bagno di quella camera è con vasca (mai sostenuto diversamente) e per lavarsi basta fare il bagno. Mi risulta che il condizionatore fosse funzionante e revisionato 2 settimane prima (i clienti successivi lo hanno usato regolarmente). Non ho capito il concetto di tenda inamovibile. Mi spiace per il materasso ed il caffè, uso una buona miscela, la prossima volta me lo dica che glielo rifaccio. Comunque apprezzo i complimenti.

Great stay. B&B very close to the historic center of Ravenna and its numerous monuments of incredible beauty and historical and artistic value (really a 5-minute walk), but still in a quiet and residential area. Numerous parking spaces nearby, both free and paid. Large and clean bedroom. Italian breakfast, with hot and cold drinks and fresh croissants from the bakery, but the manager is attentive to meet the different needs of customers. We found excellent hospitality, friendliness, availability for suggestions and tourist information.

We spent one night and we had a great time. The manager is very kind, helpful, and friendly. He suggested a restaurant, La Gardèla, where to eat, really excellent. The property is located 10 minutes walk from the center and 20 minutes from the station. The room is spacious and the freshly prepared breakfast is very good.

Overall satisfied. We were welcomed by Giorgio, very kind, and Gabriele also proved to be equally kind serving us breakfast and allowing us to keep our luggage in the property until our departure. The location is great, as is the structure itself. The only downsides are the very few outlets in the room and the thickness of the walls. If you're unlucky enough to have noisy neighbors, it's like having them in the room.

R&B located in a quiet area and in an excellent position compared to the historic center and the main sites to visit in Ravenna. It is about a 20-minute walk from the station, but for those arriving by train, the owner is available to pick up guests. The orange room, where my boyfriend and I stayed, is spacious, simply furnished, and equipped with a safe and air conditioning.\n\nThe bathroom, also spacious, equipped with shower/shampoo samples and a hairdryer. I would recommend putting a shower curtain around the tub to avoid 'the lake' after using the shower.\n\nThe breakfast (Italian and quite basic) is served directly by the owner, Mr. Giorgio, a very kind person.\nIf you have extra requests compared to what is offered, you should ask; in this regard, I would have preferred to find a small buffet where you can serve yourself.\nFree Wi-Fi which sometimes had a weak or absent signal.\nAvailable luggage storage service.\nAgreement with a series of restaurants, where you just need to present the tourist map, stamped with the structure's stamp, and a 10% discount will be applied.\nVery good value for money. Definitely worth considering for a future visit to Ravenna.

Mr. Luigi is very kind, welcoming, and well-prepared. Quiet location but close to the center. We had bicycles available and in Ravenna they are very useful, they allow you to see more and get tired less.

The structure is in a great location, about 10-15 minutes walk from Ravenna station (where you can take the bus to reach the sea, I recommend Marina di Ravenna) where walking you can cross ancient Ravenna in harmony with modern Ravenna. The welcome from the manager was very warm, making us feel at home, which is very important to us! The room was very well-kept in detail and very clean. The kindness of Mr. Giorgio is a rare thing these days, the only flaw in my opinion was the breakfast, the croissants that seemed fresh every morning were a bit frozen, but everything else was truly excellent! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, keep it up.

Well-structured place, spacious, clean and well ventilated. Everything as described on the website. Street parking is available, with a parking meter during the day and free at night. Gabriele, the host, attended to us courteously and gave us all the necessary instructions for access and for outings. Breakfast is served by the host with good-quality products. Another point to highlight is the concern for the environment: the reduction of plastic use where possible was clearly noticeable; among other measures we can cite paper packaging, glass jars, and furniture and accessories in wood or metal. We recommend this place.
