Bologna Homestay

Two nights at Bologna Homestay were a lovely experience: very friendly and helpful hosts, super clean and well kept apartment with personal and individually decorated rooms. The B&B is located on the third floor (there is an elevator that can be used with one of the provided keys) of a traditional Bologna building in a residential area. It is about a 15 minute walk from the main station or just a few minutes by bus. The bus stops to and from the station as well as the historic centre are located almost in front of the house. A great place to eat (Snoopy's) is just down the street and offers wonderful seafood dishes or other Italian cuisine. MariAnna, AntoNello, and I spent the first evening there, enjoying food and chatting along. I would recommend this "home away from home" and after staying there I feel like I found friends in Mari and Nello.

Incredible! Very good attention and location. Totally comfortable, even if there are other people staying. Very clean, with all the necessary services to make a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for getting to know Bologna.

It is a well located accommodation 15 minutes walk from the train and bus station. We also walked to the city center. Clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable bed. It has a kitchen, WiFi and TV. Quite complete breakfast included. On a street where there are numerous restaurants to choose from (Chinese, Japanese, African, Italian, etc.). We felt at home. The bathroom is shared but, as there are only 3 rooms, it has not caused us any problems, it was always available. In addition, Mari and Nello are lovely. We will return without any problem next time...

Nello is a kind and conscientious young man. The apartment was recently renovated and cared for down to the smallest details. The extreme cleanliness was surprising, the room was spacious, bright, very aesthetically pleasing and equipped with every comfort. In addition, the location is excellent, both for reaching the city center and the exhibition area, either on foot or by public transport. Excellent experience, highly recommended!

Nello's welcome was very thorough and pleasant. The cleanliness was perfect. The shared bathroom was not a problem because there are only three rooms. The kitchen was well equipped. The room was spacious and functional. There are many services and restaurants nearby, both Italian and ethnic. Mariangela and Nello were fantastic.

The structure is a bit old, the elevator is used only for luggage, but the apartment is cozy and very clean, the owners are helpful. Good price and location near the station.

Excellent.

I stopped for just one night and felt at ease. The owners are two exquisite, friendly, and kind people. The B&B is located in an excellent position. The apartment is well-kept in every detail, everything is clean, spacious and bright rooms with TV and internet connection. Kitchen available for breakfast, with a space for pets, which is very important for me because I always bring my inseparable cat Selvaggia with me. I can honestly say that the next time I return to Bologna, I already know where to go.

Everything is so extremely friendly, you feel at home as soon as you enter! The courtesy and friendliness of Nello, Mary, and Eto make this bed and breakfast the best in Bologna, so much so that this was my second stay! I will definitely return! Almost everything is smart, even the light switches, which for a curious person like me, make a difference! Absolutely recommended.

I stayed for two nights for work, chosen for the location (10 minutes on foot to reach the Fair) and for the possibility of parking under the house (subscription for one day 7.50 euros). The station is also a 20-minute walk away. An old but well-kept building, the B&B is an apartment with three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, which is therefore shared, something that has never scared me, for a very simple reason: if the manager is serious (and they are very serious) they keep it clean and above all, anyone who accepts the shared bathroom knows the rule: use it as if it were yours. Therefore, no problem. For the rest, nothing is missing, Antonio and Marianna have thought of everything regarding supplies. During my short stay, I only met Marianna for a few minutes, but I appreciated her extraordinary kindness and perfect English (while speaking with another customer), which is not common. Furthermore, she has a Japanese availability: you almost hesitate to ask for fear of upsetting her if she cannot fulfill the request. For breakfast, I could also give it ten because in reality, nothing is missing: I gave it nine because I am very demanding on the subject, and as a cherry on top, I would have added the availability of fresh pastries and eggs and ham or bacon (which I believe were not available, although if one wants, they can buy them and make them themselves without problems). Well done, I will definitely return next year.

Beautiful apartment of the guys. Very nice and comfortable single room. It was a pleasure to spend two days at Antonino and Marianna. I will return!

I was at a course in the center of Bologna, the location I found it excellent because in the center the parking is unfindable. Clean place, cozy room and comfortable and warm bed. Very nice and kind owner. If I have to find a single flaw, the shared bathroom, even if it didn't bother me. I enjoyed it very much.

Everything perfect, the rooms are well-kept and equipped with all the comforts: from the latest generation television to the pens on the desk, there's really everything! The owners are hospitable and really very kind. And cleanliness (fundamental) is impeccable. A truly positive experience, surely if we return to Bologna, we will return to Bologna Homestay.

Super helpful and for those who are using a Bed and Breakfast for the first time and don't know how it works, they are understanding and super kind, also providing you with advice.

I didn't expect it, everything was perfect. Nello was extremely friendly and above all available for everything. The room was very clean, with a shared bathroom that was still large and clean. For breakfast, there was a bit of everything. The property is a stone's throw from the station, you can get there in 10 minutes. I am really satisfied to have chosen Homestay and will definitely return.

Comfortable and clean B&B, with a fully equipped kitchen for breakfast. Kind and hospitable owners, they recommended places to visit, restaurants with typical cuisine, and good ice cream. We will come back.
