We were impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the owner and felt very comfortable. Car parking was readily offered on site which we appreciated a lot. The breakfast, which mainly consisted of various cream cakes and sweet creams, was untypical for Italian standards and took some getting used to.

My mother and I had the most wonderful time at B&B Villa Carlotta! Carlotta and Mario are the kindest, friendliest and most attentive hosts. Our room and bathroom were beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was an impressive and delicious daily feast with assorted pastries, sandwiches, breads, fruits, coffee and juices. We came for the Bruce Springsteen show, but fell in love with the city, and with this great hotel! We hope to come back. Grazie millie, Carlotta! Yedda and Rita.

Carlotta and her husband Mario are the best hosts. They know how to create a family atmosphere while maintaining the privacy of their guests - very authentic! Everything is very clean and pleasant. The breakfast, which Carlotta prepares with great passion and fresh every day, is extraordinary! A huge plate with sweet and savory pastries, cakes, various creams; along with fruit salad and fresh fruit, so I almost never managed to finish it. But even in this case, Carlotta, who - like a good grandmother - packs up everything that is left over and gives it to you as a snack for the day. It is about 20-30 minutes to walk to the city center, which for me was the perfect follow-up to the hearty breakfast. If I were to be in Ferrara again, I would definitely stay with Carlotta and Mario. I felt at home there, a recommendation!

Staying here was like being at home. Carla and Mario are charming, very kind and helpful. The house is very spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is divine! Both the quality and the abundance exceed expectations. We wish to return to Ferrara to be able to share in this space again. 100% recommended.

Excellent welcome in a family atmosphere. Mrs. Carlotta is very kind, the rooms are beautiful and well-kept. But the real surprise was the very generous breakfast made up of sweets, pastries, cakes, and some savory surprises, all handmade by the hostess!

I have been there twice in 5 days with my wife. I really have difficulty finding something to say, simply unique. I have traveled and worked in many high-level hotels, but what I found here, love, availability, passion, and dedication that they put into pampering guests, in anything (including restaurant recommendations), both Carlotta and her husband, in addition to a mega breakfast, a morning energy bomb, between sweet and savory, along with an extraordinary mousse/ice cream upon our arrival. Highly recommended and thank you again.

Carlotta and Mario were fantastic, exceptional people and very passionate hosts. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious aperitif. Carlotta recommended a great place for dinner. Great welcome: Mrs. Carlotta and her husband were waiting for us with a snack. They also helped us find a place for dinner. The structure is outside the walls, but it can be reached on foot and is in a very quiet area. Breakfast is very abundant, both sweet and savory. If you can't finish, the lady prepares a packed lunch! Clean room and private bathroom. Everything was excellent. Thank you for everything.

A very pleasant stay, the hosts are very kind and make you feel at home. The breakfast is exceptional, with both sweet and savory options personally prepared by Mrs. Carlotta. The area is well connected by public transport to the station and the historic center of Ferrara. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

What else can I say but to try it. Treat yourself to the pleasure of staying at least for a weekend in this very welcoming home located in a quiet and strategic position from which to start discovering the Estense city. The experience remains personal but rest assured that it will not disappoint you. The hostess will welcome you with extreme kindness offering you a welcome gesture that will be delicious and delicate on the palate and then surprise you with particular attentions as if you were already family. You will feel pampered to the point of perceiving the slowing down of the fleeting time. I personally felt at home. I still have the generous and well-presented breakfast in the sublime context where I was fortunate enough to stay before my eyes. Carlotta and her husband are wonderful. Welcome, availability, care, sympathy... being at home, this is B&B Villa Carlotta. The breakfast is great. What to say... Super kind, caring, and hospitable owners (I felt like part of the family!). The B&B is really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The street where the property is located is very quiet, and from there you can easily reach the city center (especially Piazza Ariostea) even on foot. The breakfast is 'CLA-MO-RO-SA': exquisite sweet and savory dishes (and to say 'abundantly' is an understatement!) prepared by the skilled hands of Mrs. Carlotta. In conclusion... I will be back soon to visit them! The only risk, after all these well-deserved and unanimous 5-star reviews, is not being able to easily find a place! 😊

Structure about 15-20 minutes walk from the center, easily reachable on foot or alternatively by bus. Triple room (with TV and terrace) spacious and clean like the bathroom (with personal hygiene products). The owners are very nice and courteous, they welcomed us with delicious hot fritters! Excellent and very abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory, what we had left over was packed for us to take away. Family atmosphere, the owners were also very kind in providing us with directions on how to move around. In our next trips to Ferrara we will definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at B&B Villa Carlotta in January. I thought my wife had written the review, while she thought I had done it, we apologize for the misunderstanding and here it is. The holiday was wonderful, also thanks to the sunny weather. Ferrara deserves a visit, and the surroundings are beautiful and interesting too. Mario and Carlotta are extremely kind and make you feel at home. From cleanliness to hospitality, they provide many useful tips for a lovely holiday. They recommend places to visit, restaurants, and food to buy because in Ferrara, you eat really well. It was also pleasant to chat about this and that, I'm sorry that Spal got relegated. A special mention goes to the breakfast that Carlotta prepares with skill and pleasure for the guests. Sweet and savory in large quantities, a real treat for the eyes and palate. This is a place to keep in mind for all the times you happen to be nearby. I gave top marks because they deserve them all. We hope to return soon to B&B Villa Carlotta. Thanks again. If you want to feel at home, B&B Villa Carlotta is the perfect solution. The owners are very kind and accommodating, the breakfasts are abundant and never dull, many things prepared directly by Mrs. Carlotta. It feels like being at the house of that aunt who loves her nephews and makes sure they are well. I will recommend this family and if I pass by Ferrara again, I will return, thank you Carlotta and Mario.

We stayed at B&B Villa Carlotta for only one day but we had a great time. Warm welcome, kindness, and great availability from the owners. In the morning, they served us a rich and abundant breakfast. Definitely worth going back.

Carlotta and her husband gave us two days of splendid hospitality. Attic room reachable via a common staircase with the living room, consisting of a bedroom, living area, and private bathroom. Clean, quiet, and comfortable, part of their home, we found ourselves in a familiar environment. Just a 20-minute walk from the center of Ferrara. Mrs. Carlotta waited for us until late at night for check-in, and the next morning she awaited us with a wonderful homemade breakfast. Puff pastry, cakes and sweets made on the spot, and savory treats to take away in case they were left over, all at an all-inclusive price with the overnight stay. You feel at home even though you are miles away. Highly recommended.

My husband and I arrived at this B&B on Saturday afternoon. We were welcomed with typical Emiliano warmth. The lady also offered us freshly baked apple fritters. Furthermore, with a map in hand, she suggested where to park and where to dine if we were going to the center of Ferrara. My husband and I arrived at B&B Villa Carlotta on Sunday afternoon and the owner, Mrs. Carlotta, welcomed us in a fabulous way! Besides her beautiful smile and incredible kindness, we enjoyed her delicious snack, she made us feel immediately at home, comfortable. The villa is 2 km away from the center, but by car it takes 2 minutes to get to the center! Our room was very spacious, clean and bright, the bathroom complete with everything, towels, bathrobes, all kinds of soaps, etc. In the morning we were treated to a dream breakfast, never seen before! From savory to sweet, in excessive quantity, all handmade by Mrs. Carlotta. With what we couldn't eat, she prepared a takeaway package for us! It was pleasant to chat with the lady and Mr. Mario who also recommended some itineraries in the surroundings of Ferrara, in short, we found two very kind, helpful and welcoming people. If we were to come back to this beautiful city, we would definitely stay at B&B Villa Carlotta.

My daughter Beatrice stayed for study purposes for 5 days at B&B Villa Carlotta. Mrs. Carlotta knew how to welcome her and make her feel at home; super breakfast, cleanliness and comfort at excellent levels. I feel strongly about recommending B&B Villa Carlotta in every aspect. Although it is not in the city center, it is within a short distance and the welcome, cleanliness, and breakfast were excellent. What I find most appreciable are the kindness and good manners of the hosts, especially Mrs. Carlotta who takes care of everything in an exemplary manner and is a lovely person like the sweets she prepares.

The hospitality of Carlotta and Mario is priceless, as soon as we arrived they offered us an aperitif, the bottles of water were always available, the breakfast was fabulous and if you couldn't finish it, the lady would prepare a takeaway package for you. Beautiful villa immersed in greenery, in the morning you woke up to the singing of birds, room and bathroom equipped with every comfort, very comfortable bed. In less than half an hour's walk you could reach the city center. Also nice was the possibility of having breakfast at the table with the other guests. Thank you very much Carlotta and Mario for your hospitality and friendliness.

Mrs. Carlotta and her husband are very welcoming people. B&B Villa Carlotta is located in a very green and quiet neighborhood of Ferrara. The lady's breakfast is truly 'the highlight,' I have never found such a tasty, rich, and high-quality breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay.

Ferrara is a beautiful, pleasant, human-sized city, livable, with so much to see and visit, urban planning, architecture, history, landscape, to recommend to all those who have never seen it. My wife and I were guests at B&B Villa Carlotta for one night. What can I say: fantastic experience. Starting from the extremely warm welcome accompanied by a homemade dessert by Carlotta. Perfect cleanliness, quietness, everything you need is included. The breakfast then is a spectacle: sweet and savory strictly homemade. Very abundant and of fantastic quality. An experience absolutely worth repeating. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in Ferrara.

A combination of proposals that link the Ferrara tradition to French pastry, in a disruptive array of flavors. We spent two nights at B&B Villa Carlotta with Mr. Carlotta and Mario. It was a great pleasure to spend our mini-holiday in Ferragosto in the Ferrara area and at their home. Both were very helpful, kind, smiling, and it was nice to chat with them. We have booked in different Bed and Breakfasts, but we have never seen a woman with so much passion and love in preparing such a plentiful breakfast for her guests, and this also applies to the care of her home. Everything else is to be confirmed, as the previous guests have already written. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely return 100%. Thanks again for everything. Highly recommend.

A friend and I stayed one night in this Bed & Breakfast for a concert. It felt like being at grandparents' house, the welcome was magnificent and extremely warm. Carlotta is an excellent cook and immediately made us taste her delicacies. We had very pleasant conversations with Carlotta and Mario and from this we deduced how much passion they put into this activity. We hope to return soon to Ferrara to stay with them again. I stayed at the B&B Villa Carlotta during the April 25th weekend. My husband and I were pleasantly welcomed by the owners, Mrs. Carlotta then delighted us with her delicious sweets right away. In the morning, we woke up to the scent of freshly baked pastries. Really good, perhaps a bit too many for breakfast in the morning though. Another positive point is given to the linens: they were changed every day. I rated 7 for the location because it's a bit far from the center. One more very positive note: they are cat lovers (they have two).

It was a magnificent weekend, we relaxed and felt pampered. Thanks to the availability of the managers, the courtesy and the friendliness of Mr. Mario and the efficiency of Mrs. Carlotta with her excellent, always different and abundant, delicious breakfasts, both sweet and savory. They are two splendid, delightful people, always ready to meet any of our needs. Furthermore, the location of the property is very convenient for exploring the city on foot, being just outside the walls, so also convenient for parking. We felt at home, the room was very spacious, with a private bathroom and very clean. We will definitely be back.

I recommend this wonderful structure just outside the center of Ferrara, located in a very quiet neighborhood of terraced houses.\n\nThe owners are truly helpful and kind people, ready to provide explanations of all kinds.\n\nMy girlfriend and I stayed in a beautiful attic, with all the comforts (including air conditioning).\n\nThe highlight is the breakfast, entirely prepared by the landlady, sweet and savory (of an abundance never seen, they even give you the possibility to save what you have left over for lunch).\n\nThere is nothing else to say: for service and family atmosphere, if we were to return to Ferrara this would be our "hotel" again. Giving a 10 to this structure is truly too little. I stayed for work and found a very family-like welcome, ideal after a day of work. The owners are very nice, very available, and very welcoming, they greet you with a lot of warmth. Mrs. Carlotta, a wonderful person, makes you feel at home. The rooms are very beautiful, bright, tastefully furnished, and always clean and tidy. The breakfast is the "cherry on the cake" in every sense. Mrs. Carlotta prepares indescribable desserts that are truly exceptional, they really give you both physical and inner energy to face the workday. Beautiful structure, impeccable cleanliness just 10 minutes on foot from Porta Mare. Mrs. Carlotta was very kind, she recommended a place for dinner and even made the reservation upon our arrival. Delicious breakfast, very abundant (both savory and sweet). Very good quality-price ratio.

Short weekend in the beautiful city of Ferrara. Everything was wonderfully perfect. At B&B Villa Carlotta, my partner and I felt truly good and were equally well received. Private accommodation, located not in the central area but still convenient for getting around the city. Very clean, spacious, bright rooms, equipped with services. Welcoming, kind, and very helpful managers. Super abundant and fresh breakfast. Recommended.
