Our B& B is located with lavish spa waters and facilities (Terme San petronio Antalgik, San Luca Pluricenter · Terme Felsinee Bologna, Terme Felsinee) at Bologna art city, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a quiet, panoramic setting, in the historic heart of the city. "B&B Casa Elide" is a lovely, refined building.
Surroundings
Our guests will be able to stroll around the lights and colours of the shopping streets, enjoy and buy local artisan products, enjoy the scenery and experience local cuisine on various food and wine tours, explore cultural events and exhibitions, wander amid the scents and sounds of the area's many gardens.
Close by our guests will find several monuments and famous places. Any football fans can catch their team playing at nearby stadium 'Stadio Renato Dall'Ara di Bologna'.

In the morning we will delight you with our abundant and genuine breakfasts, also appreciated by foreign guests. Artisan jams and desserts, coffee, barley coffee, milk, soy milk, rice milk, lactose-free milk, tea and infusions, honey, fruit juices, cocoa, rusks, and hot croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt. Vegan and gluten-free breakfast on request. Breakfast will be served in the large kitchen and also possible in the lovely veranda. The breakfast time can be agreed according to your needs

The breakfast was excellent, with unique, lovingly handmade jams and cakes. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the bed comfortable. But most of all, Elide is a lovely and personal host who made my stay truly amazing.

Great stay. Location was perfect. Good breakfast and Elide really cares about her guests. We loved Bologna and wished we could have stayed longer. I also wished we spoke some Italian too. Ciao.

Absolutely perfect stay at Casa Elide. Zero faults. Excellent communication, and what a wonderful, clean and welcoming home. I would return without hesitation the next time I'm in Bologna. There is a bit of street noise at night, but Elide does provide ear plugs.

Everything was wonderful, the room and bathroom were extremely spacious. There is a small elevator so anyone with luggage has easy access. It was very secure and welcoming to all walks of life. The location is perfect for the 20s-40yr olds because it is literally around the corner from a ton of hip bars and cafes. An easy walk all around old town and a nice stroll to the train station. The breakfast was incredible and Elide was so kind. I will absolutely be back and I will recommend these accommodations to everyone I know!

I would stay here again, for many reasons. But the building is at a main crossroads in the city, and you should expect quite a bit of street noise during the evening and night. Also it is disappointing that there are no comfortable chairs for sitting in the room. The host is very helpful and the breakfast was excellent every day. We stayed 4 nights.

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Casa Elide. The location is great, close to the center of town and the University of Bologna. The room is comfortable, everything is clean and pretty, and the bathroom is large with a great shower. But the best part is the hostess, Signora Elide. She is very warm and helpful, a delightful person. She prepares a delicious breakfast including her own baked treats and tasty marmalade that she makes herself. Thank you very much, Elide!

Lovely apartment and the loveliest host! Her breakfasts were delicious and very accommodating. The property was spotless and comfortable. There was some noise from the streets at night but that is hard to avoid in cities. I would definitely book again.

The pros: Good room, great bathroom, very clean overall, A/C works, friendly and good host. The cons: I was only able to fall asleep at 3AM as it's extremely noisy on the street just outside the flat (loud music and people were constantly clapping and singing just outside the window). The windows are quite thin which doesn't help. So I'd definitely recommend bringing earplugs.

Good location for the city centre. However, it was incredibly loud outside during the night. The windows are very thin and do not block out any noise, so we did not sleep very well.

Elide is a pleasure as a host! Although we had a significant language barrier, we all worked at it and managed to communicate adequately and enjoyed our company together. The B&B is well located, about a 15-minute walk from the central train station and easily within walking distance of the main destinations downtown. Also, it is very close to many great dining spots.

We initially had a very nice stay at Casa Elide. Two points diminished the experience for us: During the night, a lot of nightlife noise penetrated the room, making it difficult to sleep. When we checked out, Elide was kind enough to give us the opportunity to leave our bags in the main room. However, when we returned, my girlfriend urgently needed to use the bathroom. Elide harshly told us we could not use the bathroom. We found this to be very inhospitable.

As for the bathroom, it wasn't my intention to upset you, I simply said that it wasn't possible to simply use it because at check out it is sanitized and prepared for guests who, among other things, had already arrived and I don't think they would have liked it. The host, Elide, is absolutely lovely - very accommodating and helpful. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were more than enough. Transport is close by but walking to the city centre is also a viable option if you are not carrying too much.

This is the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in - absolutely impeccable! Another highlight was the very generous and delicious breakfast, with homemade muffins every day, as well as croissants, fresh fruit, and a savory dish. The air conditioning was also much appreciated in the hot weather. The only slight downside is that you can hear noise from the street late at night/early in the morning - Bologna is, after all, a university town! Okay with earplugs but worth noting. Thank you!

Exactly what I was looking for. Accommodation right next to the university (that I was visiting) and within walking distance of the station, centre, and other amenities. The owners were very hospitable and everything was kept in tip-top shape.

Spacious bathroom with great rainfall shower (not en-suite). 10 minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore and minutes from the Pinacoteca and historic Jewish quarter.

The apartment met all our needs. It is in an excellent location with all major attractions and good restaurants within easy walking distance. The railway station is nearby and there is good access to buses. Elide is a charming and helpful host and she provided us with good breakfasts. The apartment is particularly secure and is very cosy.

I had a short but perfect stay here, very comfortable. The facilities are clean and modern, the location central, and Elide was a very generous host, arriving early in the morning to prepare my breakfast because I had to catch an early flight. The bathroom was shared but I had no problems. Zero complaints, highly recommended.

Elide is a very courteous and helpful host. We arrived quite late, around midnight, and were concerned that we could not see any signs indicating the location of the B&B on streetview. Elide came downstairs and waited outside to show us the way. The rooms are on the upper floor (labelled in the lift) and are very clean and welcoming. A nice breakfast including freshly made cakes, which you can take with you if you can't manage them at breakfast. Good location for the railway station and easy walk into the city centre. Also a good price, we recommend Casa Elide.

Ideal situation. Super close to the places to visit, restaurants and bars nearby. View of the rooftops of the houses and the church. Elide is very attentive and prepares super breakfasts with homemade food. I recommend it. The rooms are spacious, cool, and extremely clean. The bathroom has been completely renovated and is spacious. Frankly, you feel right at home.

A very warm welcome, just like at home! Although close to the train station, the place turns out to be ideal, very well frequented, not far from the center on foot, convenient for taking the train to tourist cities like Ferrara, Parma, Modena and for taking the Aerobus to the airport. A breakfast beyond our expectations with pastries, homemade jams. For the less hungry there is fruit, yogurt, cereals and various fruit juices. The coffee is excellent prepared with the Italian coffee maker. We received plenty of good advice on the sites to visit and everything was done to make our lives easier (for example luggage deposit before leaving, payment by credit card).

Mrs. Elide runs her B&B with great love. She bakes everything herself for breakfast and creates delicious dishes. If you like a sweet breakfast, this is the right place for you. The accommodation is beautiful, the bathroom is modern, and everything is clean. Even the beds are made if you stay longer.\nThe B&B is located in a beautiful old house. The only small drawback is that it is on a main road. At night you can hear the noise of the city, which you have to like. For two nights it was fine for me since the rooms are on the second floor. Four nights were too long for me due to the night noise, even though the breakfast is delicious. Those who sleep well with earplugs will surely feel comfortable here.

Great accommodation in a central location, not far from the train station, the university district, and the city center. The noise from the street is audible but not overwhelming. The room and the shared bathroom are very clean and well-equipped. The air conditioning works perfectly. Besides the nice view, it is especially the hostess who makes the accommodation special. Elide mainly speaks Italian and a little English, but is very accommodating and hospitable. I really enjoyed the stay and would have liked to stay longer!

Elide is very kind and the accommodation is impeccable. Great homemade breakfast, very comfortable and clean accommodation. The location is very good, close to the station and the center. The only thing I would highlight is that one of the side streets of the accommodation is very noisy at night and you can hear it in the rooms, but Elide provides earplugs.

I really enjoyed staying with Elide. Everything was very well taken care of in detail. The room was spacious and had everything necessary. I liked that there were more pillows and blankets. The only downside of the accommodation is that the street is very noisy, making it difficult to fall asleep. People shouting, chatting, until 4 or 5 in the morning. Otherwise, everything was very good.

Staying at Elide's house feels like being guests of a relative, the room is spacious and comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and new, just like the kitchen where breakfast is carefully prepared in the morning. The B&B is very well-kept and especially clean. Both our room and the bathroom were spacious and equipped with every necessity. The breakfast is good, there are many products to choose from and fresh pastries. 15 minutes on foot from the station and the city center. To know: the green room (but it seems to me that the others do too) overlooks a really noisy street due to both traffic and nightlife, so sleeping is difficult. Earplugs are provided, but it is the price you pay for being in a central area.

I stayed at B&B Casa Elide for one night (for study/work reasons) and, after the first impression, I wanted to stay longer. B&B near the central station within walking distance and close to many bus stops. The "wisteria" room is beautiful, spacious, and absolutely comfortable and usable. It has everything you need. The bathroom is private and outside the room, but this is not a problem at all. The bathroom has a modern design and is very clean like the room. The owner is extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming, making the guest feel at home. Abundant breakfast prepared with care and attention. Rating 10/10, can't wait to come back! Thank you!

The house is very beautiful. Spacious and central. The only problem is the noise coming from the street. It feels like sleeping with the windows open. The breakfast is not exactly what is defined as continental, for example, bread, butter, and cereals are missing. The six guests all sit at the same table. It can be nice but some prefer to be alone and in silence in the morning. Mrs. Elide is very kind and helpful.

Cozy structure in an optimal position to visit the city. Cleaning and breakfast 10 and praise. Only downside: a bit noisy area on Saturday night. Mrs. Elide was very helpful with us and our one-year-old baby and made us feel at home.

Everything perfect, from the location to Elide and the very good breakfast. The only thing to keep in mind, which I hadn't read elsewhere, is that, due to the location, it's noisy in the evening even with the window closed. Those who need quiet should bring earplugs (it's not a criticism, just a warning so one comes prepared!).

I can only give 10 to Mrs. Elide and her B&B! Cozy structure in a very convenient location for walking to both the train station, the city center, and the university campus; spacious room (Orange) and bathroom (shared) with maximum hygiene and cleanliness. Particularly hospitable and kind reception from Elide who made me feel at home and gave me many valuable tips about the city of Bologna. The B&B is located in the center of Bologna and is easily accessible from the central station. Everything is very clean and you can sleep peacefully. The room is spacious and has a small balcony from which you can see the city. The host, Mrs. Elide, is very kind and helpful. She prepared the muffins without an ingredient I can't eat and they were delicious! The breakfast was very rich with coffee, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit, and even cheese and ham. Absolutely recommended.

We stayed for a day at this B&B Casa Elide and we must say we had a great time! Mrs. Elide who manages it is very courteous and down-to-earth, always willing to meet the customers' requests! As can be inferred from the ratings given, our stay was perfect. The B&B Casa Elide is very well-kept, spotlessly clean and very close to the center easily reachable, on foot, in less than 10 minutes. And what a delightful surprise the breakfast! Exquisite homemade pastries and jams (how delicious!) and everything you need to start a day well (cereals, yogurt, fruit juices, etc.). Mrs. Elide was extremely helpful and also gave us a lot of information on what to see, visit and where to eat. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two days and could not take advantage of all the excellent advice received but it will be a good reason to come back! Highly recommended.

Elide has proven to be an absolutely exquisite hostess! Available and attentive to the customer's needs, she does not skimp on small attentions that make the traveler feel like a guest in her property as if they were truly at home! B&B Casa Elide is furnished with great taste and charm and even has a whirlpool tub, with accompanying candles to create a spa effect. We found a very clean, functional, and welcoming room. Mrs. Elide prepares jams and sweets with her own hands that are sublime! For breakfast, she takes the small attention of making you coffee in a real moka pot and not in the usual machine, and sets the table with every delicacy! She is a precious source of advice if you are in Bologna as a tourist. Ask and she will advise you for the best. She was also available to keep our luggage at the end of our stay while waiting to go to the central station. I really hope to be able to return to Bologna because I already know where to stay. I highly recommend the property because it is excellent both logistically and in terms of comfort. If you are visiting Bologna, don't bother looking elsewhere: choose B&B Casa Elide and you won't regret it.

It is a real B&B! So a lovely airy and welcoming apartment, very clean, with well-separated rooms, managed with harmony and kindness by Mrs. Elide, really nice and helpful. We stayed only one night in a double room, air-conditioned, with private bathroom, a pleasant room with a comfortable hallway between the two areas. Personally, I would change the colorful sheets, very nice, with something perhaps a bit more sober but in superior quality cotton and cooler. Super breakfast with homemade lactose-free pastries, a truly appreciable gesture. Very convenient location, close to the station and the historic center. A nice experience.

I confirm everything good that has already been written by others. I took the Relax room with a double bed and private bathroom, single use. Spacious, comfortable bed, bathroom with whirlpool that can also be used as a shower, provided with shampoo, shower gel, soap, hairdryer. I would have appreciated having a small table/desk in the room. Abundant and good breakfast, you can have a bit of everything. Extremely clean apartment, magnificently maintained. Elide is nice and efficient. Very good location, close to the station (5 minutes walk) and the historic center (15 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore), also served by buses with a nearby stop. It is on the 6th floor, of course with an elevator. It has a peculiarity: when you press the button for the desired floor, nothing happens for a few seconds giving the feeling that it doesn't work, but then it starts regularly.

I stayed last night in the delightful apartment of Mrs. Elide who gave me a warm welcome making me feel at home. Since I couldn't have breakfast with everyone the next morning, she gave me the cakes she had specially prepared... Exquisite. Cozy, new, and clean apartment, located near the station. Free wifi, water, and welcome biscuits. The double room has a nice private bathroom with a whirlpool tub that unfortunately I didn't have the chance to use. But if I were to return to Bologna, I will definitely come back.

The accommodation is in a great location, very close to Bologna Central Station. Excellent cleanliness. The room is very airy and bright, with every kind of comfort. Mrs. Elide is a lovely person, friendly and jovial. Excellent breakfast with truly exquisite food carefully prepared down to the smallest details. It will be a pleasure to return to Casa Elide next time.

We stayed at this B&B just 2 steps from the train station and the historic center of Bologna for 4 nights and we were lucky because we didn't share the apartment with other guests. The B&B is very spacious, bright, cheerful, and clean as well as the Relax room we benefited from, equipped with an adjacent but exclusive bathroom with a whirlpool tub. The breakfast is abundant and varied: every morning the friendly Mrs. Elide made us find delicious and always different sweets made by her such as croissants, muffins (with chocolate heart, pineapple, caramelized ginger), tarts, even special cakes (excellent the mint one in a chocolate crust) and then homemade jams (all delicious but the mango and pink pepper one really special) and much more. Mrs. Elide also wrapped up the sweets that, being full, we hadn't eaten for breakfast to take them on our outings and upon arrival she welcomed us with anise seed biscuits and other courtesies (colorful and very clean towels and various types of bath soaps). What to add: we felt at home and hope to return as soon as possible!

We stayed at this property on June 1st and 2nd, 2014. We were two families and we had a wonderful time. The house is welcoming, comfortable, well-kept, and very clean. Mrs. Elide is truly very kind and discreet. She prepares a top-notch breakfast rich in uncommon sweets made by her and very special and delicious jams. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to have the comforts of a home and the amenities of a hotel during their vacation.

I spent my birthday in this establishment with my husband and we had a great time. The environment is taken care of in every detail, the kindness of Mrs. Elide, and her breakfasts are rich with cakes and wonderful fresh fruit jams and hot freshly baked brioche, all strictly made by her. I highly recommend it to everyone!
