Description Breakfast
In the foothills of Parma, at 550 meters above sea level, far from roads and residential areas, Casa dei Cuori welcomes guests to an authentic and peaceful setting, immersed in nature. The property is located on the edge of the forest, in a rural stone house, and offers spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for those seeking relaxation, privacy, and contact with local flora and fauna.

The accommodation features a private entrance, a bedroom with a private bathroom, and a living area with a sofa, table, desk, piano, record player, and a well-stocked library. A third bed can be added in addition to the double bed. Outside, a green corner furnished with a table, benches, and a hammock invites guests to enjoy the scenery and, with a little luck, spot roe deer, birds of prey, or badgers. Guests also have access to e-bikes for rent (in the nearby village of Torrechiara) and numerous trails to explore on foot or by bike starting directly from the house.

An optional breakfast (€9 per person) can be served in your room between 7:00 and 10:00, according to guests' preferences. It is prepared with organic, local, and homemade products, with a choice of sweet, savory, or a combination.

A few minutes' drive away are charming villages and places of cultural and gastronomic interest. Torrechiara Castle is 15 minutes away, the Via Francigena is 20 minutes away, while Parma, with its historic center, museums, and theaters, is just 24 km away. About an hour away, the Cento Laghi Park offers lakes, mountain refuges, and a chairlift that takes you to an altitude of 1,600 meters, ideal for hiking and breathtaking views. Nearby, you can visit traditional cheese and prosciutto makers, as well as numerous trattorias offering authentic local flavors.

Stefano, the host, has chosen to live in harmony with nature and will be happy to welcome his guests to a place that reflects his lifestyle and his love of nature, without sacrificing quality hospitality or proximity to the artistic and cultural beauties of the area.

Optional breakfast, really appreciated from our guest, from €5 to €12 (standard €9) prepared with high-quality local, organic, and homemade products, served in your room from 7 to 10 a. m. , at your preferred time. It is possibile to customize your breakfast and request a sweet, savory, or mixed breakfast.

It is a very romantic place, almost like a fairytale; it feels like entering a separate world of wonderful, unspoiled views where you only hear the sounds of nature and see its colors. On our arrival at sunset, on the dirt road we were greeted by a partridge and a little further on the old house with red shutters could be seen, partly sheltered by the surrounding copse. The room is very cozy and tastefully furnished; there is a large bookshelf for every taste, a comfortable sofa, a record player with some LPs of good music and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom has an old-fashioned cast-iron bathtub. The owners welcomed us with very kind, helpful and very discreet manners. It is definitely a place to disconnect and recharge when needed; we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to nature and rejuvenate by taking nice walks in the area. The only thing I might suggest for those who need it (which was not our case) is to bring a little something to nibble on because the town center is not exactly around the corner, but that's part of the charm. We liked it very much and will definitely come back.

We had a truly special stay, immersed in the peace and quiet of a beautiful forest. The owner, Stefano, was extremely welcoming and friendly: he explained many interesting things about the bees and the surrounding nature, making the experience even more enjoyable and enriching. Special mention must go to the breakfast, simply wonderful: full of organic, wholesome products prepared by them, which we really appreciated. An authentic and relaxing experience in an enchanting, nature-filled setting. Highly recommended!

Excellent place to stop, the owner is very kind and friendly. We had a good stay. The road to get there is unpaved, but with a regular car you can reach it (cars that are too low cannot make it; I had a Golf and did not have any problems).

Per completezza di informazione, a proposito della strada sono arrivati ospiti anche con porche, Tesla, merced, panda ecc. mentre, a proposito del rapporto qualita-prezzo attualmente per tre persone (1 adulto e 2 bambini) la tariffa è di 53 euro complessivi (17.66 a persona) e la colazione, decisamente generosa e genuina dolce e salata insieme, costa 9€ a persona e viene preparata con cura per ogni singolo ospite.

I booked this accommodation for my sister, her husband and their son. They enjoyed their stay very much, surrounded by nature in a quiet place; being used to the city, they slept deeply! The hosts are super kind, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is extra, but it is worth it for its quality and authenticity. Highly recommended!

Grazie per la recensione, che evidenzia il rapporto qualità prezzo 10 in una struttura che come ricordato all'arrivo non è di lusso ma rustica ed immersa nella natura e nel bosco seppur pulita, aspirata, sanificata, spolverata ogni giorno per garantire buoni soggiorni. Mi pare che alcuni ospiti confondano rusticità con pulizia magari avendo come riferimento una stanza di hotel in città; non sono la stessa cosa ovviamente.

This was exactly what I was looking for... Absolute peace. Pristine, unspoiled nature. Stefano was extremely helpful with a gentle manner; together with his wife they prepared for us a very special and plentiful sweet and savory breakfast. Serenity reigned, the sounds of the world, the fireflies... the scent of wood. It is not for everyone: you need a spirit of adaptation if you really want to disconnect from the frenzy and get close to nature; otherwise you can go relax at a luxury spa. That one is indeed for everyone. Nature makes no concessions; you must be receptive. The host Stefano always approached us with grace, giving us explanations about the place and suggestions on what to see in the area. A unique experience for those who know how to listen.

The host is really kind and helpful. You shouldn't expect a five-star hotel, but that's fine. The countryside and the scenery are breathtaking, with enviable peace and tranquility.

A delightful, secluded place run by wonderful people. Amazing breakfast. Everything is done with so much love and passion. We will definitely return. Warning: it is difficult to reach by low-clearance cars because of potholes on the dirt roads.

Stefano is a wonderful person and the place is beautiful, but it is quite far from main roads. As someone traveling alone who loves the peace of nature, I enjoyed it very much. The only suggestion I would make is to provide adequate signage for arriving guests.
