Sea Family Apartment – Amalfi Coast

Dear Reader. My wife and I stayed at the "Sea Family Apartment — Amalfi Coast" for six days. We were picked up from the train station in Salerno by Francesco, Marlene's brother, and received a very warm welcome at the apartment from Marlene. Besides an introduction to the apartment with welcome gifts, a bottle of red wine, and Prosecco, we were also given some helpful tips and suggestions. The bus stop is right outside, and Torrione train station is only a six-minute walk away. We also walked to the town center several times, sometimes along the main street or along the promenade, which takes about 20–25 minutes. The apartment on the fourth floor is accessible by elevator, has balconies, and offers views of the sea and the Amalfi Coast. It features an open-plan entrance hall and living/dining room, where we felt very comfortable. The supply of coffee, tea, and cookies was more than adequate. The supermarket, a two-minute walk away, is open until midnight and offers a deli counter with prepared meals ready to heat up. We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment if you enjoy interacting a bit with locals in their daily lives. Just one more thing: from the bus stop "Positano Sant'Elmo", which is a three-minute walk away, we took the bus 119 directly to Naples Airport — there is no better choice. Beautiful apartment, renovated and very clean. It is in a central location, 12 minutes from the center (about 30 minutes on foot), just steps from the sea and 5 minutes from the station. We stayed, unfortunately, only one night, four of us. The host, Marlene, fantastic: kind, friendly and very helpful. Because the weather was not very kind, she took care of our arrival to let us know that we could arrive even before the check-in time, as the apartment was ready. She gave us advice on places to see, where to eat, the Luci d'artista and the transport to reach everything, which are very convenient from the apartment. The Torrione area is well served. The apartment is as described: cozy, tidy and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is also equipped with items to make a quick breakfast. The mattresses are new, comfortable and heavy bedding was available if needed, but we did not need it as the place was air-conditioned. I can only recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to spend a vacation or a short holiday, with company, in a location easily accessible to all city services or as a base to visit Salerno and the surroundings without too much hassle. If there is an opportunity, I will definitely return.

We had a great time: impeccable cleanliness and a perfect location, just a short walk from the Luci d'Artista. The bus stop is right below the house and the accommodation is located in a really nice neighborhood, full of decorated little shops and with a market where you can find pretty much everything. The owner was very helpful: since we had little time in Salerno she explained in detail the best route to see the lights, what characteristic places to visit and recommended an excellent place to eat fresh fish. A really positive experience. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately our stay at this property was really too short. In the days before we were guided and then, on Sunday morning, we were welcomed by Alessandro in an impeccable way, with kindness and friendliness. The apartment is beautiful, brand new, cared for down to the smallest details, and the location allows you to reach Salerno city center with a pleasant walk of about 1 km, avoiding the hassle of finding parking or getting stuck in traffic. We will definitely return, the numbers are saved in our contacts 😘.

Everything was perfect, the apartment was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. It was easy to get around on foot with many shops and restaurants downstairs. I will definitely return.

The apartment is spotless and the welcome was truly outstanding. It is located in an authentic neighborhood of Salerno, where you really have everything on your doorstep: delicatessens, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pubs, supermarkets and even the market just a short walk away. The location is very convenient, because just outside the door there is a bus stop that takes you in a few minutes to the center, the station and the port, from where I took the ferry to the Amalfi Coast. This apartment was a wonderful find.

I stayed in this fabulous B&B. The owner is very kind and immediately made herself available to ensure we had two wonderful days. The property is spotless: I travel a lot and I have never found such a clean place. The apartment's location is excellent; it is in the center of Torrione, just a few steps from the sea, the supermarket and the station. The rooms are beautiful: the house has a nautical theme. On the bed, in addition to the towel set, there were also candies and a bath and shampoo set. In the kitchen the owner left us a bottle of wine. The rooms are very large and comfortable: we were two adults and a child and in the room we were very comfortable. It is a very convenient and beautiful property; we fully recommend it.

The Sea Family Apartment was perfect for our stay in Salerno. The apartment has everything you need, is tastefully furnished in a maritime style and conveys a sense of peace. The location is ideal: the bus stop is right below the building, there are many shops nearby and the small square close by where we had lunch and dinner at an excellent fish restaurant. In a few minutes you can reach the railway station and the ferries to the Amalfi Coast. Marlen is really very helpful and kind, we had a great time, I will definitely return in the spring! The host Marlene is a kind and helpful person. Great welcome. The apartment is beautiful, very clean and spacious. The bedroom is very roomy and the air conditioning works great. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking; I only used the coffee machine because I ate at a pizzeria near the house and the pizza was delicious. The neighborhood is very lively: there are supermarkets, pizzerias and several bars where you can have a drink with friends. The beach is close to the apartment; you can easily walk there. There is both a free beach and an equipped one. The location is perfect. At check-out I left comfortably by bus that stops right under the house to go to the port to take the ferry to Positano. I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

The house was spotless, maintained down to the smallest details and truly beautiful, just like in the photos! Equipped with all comforts: air conditioning, fast Wi‑Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. One of the highlights is certainly the private balcony, with a small table and chairs, perfect for having breakfast or relaxing in the evening. From there you could see the sunset and also enjoy a spectacular view of the Amalfi Coast – truly evocative! The area is lively and very convenient: there are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets right below the house. I used public transport and in a few minutes I reached the port and took the motorboat to Amalfi. Marlene was a very kind and super responsive host, she gave many suggestions on what to see in Salerno. A perfect stay, highly recommended!
