Lume Art Apartment and Room

My partner and I had a great 4 night stay. The apartment was situated a short walk from the train/bus station and a short walk into the center also. There are local shops and restaurants 1 minute walk from the apartment also. The host Ugo was great and gave lots of advice and tips for places to visit and restaurants.

Ugo is a fabulous host. Very responsive and helpful with our trip plans and assisting with transfer bookings. The apartment is very clean and we felt very safe in the area. The large balcony was fabulous and the shutters were great for blocking the heat, noise and light. This is a great property and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to friends. There isn’t a washing machine, but there is a laundromat very close to the apartment. There is no dishwasher. The air conditioner works very well and the beds are very comfortable.

Ugo was a gracious host, even providing a welcoming bottle of wine. After letting us into the apartment and giving an orientation, he communicated with us by text over the three days stay. The place was very comfortable, and the balcony offered views of the town and mountains (even Vesuvius). We were allowed to check out late, as our train was not until after 1pm. Everything in Sorrento is a close walk from the apartment, including the station, a supermarket, and restaurants within blocks. I took off one point for location only because a heavily trafficked street intersection is just down the block. All in all, we would definitely stay at Lume Art if we visit Sorrento again.

Excellent place and very attentive and responsible host, highly recommended. For these reasons we decided to extend our stay. Everything better than imagined.

Ugo was very kind in welcoming us and explaining the access keys. And the functioning of the apartment. The apartment is very comfortable, bright. It has a small kitchen with cooking utensils, safe box, and two balconies that are very useful for dining or having breakfast if the weather permits. The air conditioning works very well. It is located in a neighborhood area with nice buildings. There is a well-stocked supermarket on the corner, laundry around the corner. Three blocks from the train station and the SITA BUS stop that allows you to tour the entire Amalfi Coast. And just 7 blocks from the port, where ferries depart for Capri and other points on the Amalfi Coast. It is a quiet area and 5 blocks from the pedestrian center. You can go everywhere safely. Ugo was very kind in calling us a taxi to return to the station, as we had little time and many suitcases. And his assistant was very kind in accompanying us to the door with the suitcases. Thank you very much UGO!

We have been very comfortable. Good and spacious terraces. Ideal for 3 people. The manager very attentive to everything.

New, very bright apartment with a nice terrace and well furnished. Special thanks to Ugo's wife for her availability with practical advice on where to eat and visit. Structure to recommend.

I stayed in this property for three nights over New Year's. I found a recently renovated apartment, modern and functional, in an optimal location to visit Sorrento without having to take the car. What I appreciated the most was the courtesy, availability, and professionalism of the manager, Mr. Ugo. Upon arrival, there was no place to park the car; he helped me carry my luggage and also accompanied me to a parking lot 150 meters away where I left the car. Congratulations, I will consider you in the future.

Great accommodation. No problems. Everything is perfect.
