The air conditioning was dripping inside the room the whole night as well as the elevator is paid however the first time to bring your luggage the host pays for it. We stayed for a night so it was manageable but they need to highlight the fact in their booking.

Excellent! Very clean and cosy rooms and strategic location. The hostess Antonella is super nice and welcoming. The only downside: the lift is chargeable and costs 50 cents per ride and was not mentioned before. For the rest everything was perfect. Thank you!

We booked this hotel as a central spot while we took day trips in the area. The hotel was great, clean, comfortable, quiet, the people that we met were extremely nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, the tours we booked required us to leave early in the mornings so we weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast but from the sound of the host, it seemed it would have been lovely. The host even called to set up us going to get the breakfast early but we still couldn’t make it with the timing. I really loved that he went above and beyond to try and get us breakfast before our day trips. It was such a caring thing to do. The area was great, we came back pretty late and the nightlife was still happening in the streets. It’s also really close to the archeological museum so if you go to Pompeii, you can continue with the artifacts almost right next door.

Great location within walking distance of the metro, restaurants, and shops. The bed is rather hard and the elevator requires 50€, but the room is value for money.

La Smorfia is beautiful. Tucked away behind closed doors, it is modern and well-appointed. Our room was large and very comfortable. Francesco, our host, was charming and always pleased to answer questions and help with dining recommendations or transport issues. Have given a lower score for breakfast, only because it was slightly awkward to have to go offsite and across a busy road to get to a small cafe with limited seating. However, this was offset by an extremely friendly and lovely hostess and her delicious homemade cakes and freshly squeezed juices.

Very nice establishment. Very beautiful and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and professional welcome.\n\nThe only drawback is that this B&B has an agreement for breakfast with a nearby café. The walk to get there is very pleasant but the establishment is very small, the number of seats is limited.\n\nWe had 2 breakfasts out of three at the counter on a bar stool in front of the owners who are very dedicated and friendly, but can only offer what they have. Diversifying this offer would be a real plus.

Beautiful, new structure. I stayed with my friend in room 42. I found it comfortable and very clean. Daily cleaning of the bathroom. The receptionist, Antonella, fulfilled all our needs from an extra pillow to changing the towels after the second day, always politely and kindly. The Smorfia also allows you to reach all points of interest on foot or with the nearby metro. The only downside is the old elevator, although that does not depend on the manager. When I return to Naples, I will definitely come here!

Structure in a very charming period building, in the historic center of Naples (UNESCO heritage). Kind and helpful managers, the legendary Serena is very nice and well prepared to provide information on artistic and cultural sites of interest. Clean room, made up every day, efficient and not excessive air conditioning. The hot water in the bathroom arrives intermittently... which is not a big problem in July but could become one in the winter months. I also suggest a better shading of the windows with full-height curtains, to avoid a "shop window" effect when sitting in bed wanting to keep some air... For the rest, everything is ok. We are just a stone's throw from the Veiled Christ and the National Archaeological Museum, in a very lively area even at night. Unfortunately, the streets are very busy, with cars and scooters not respecting pedestrian zones and ZTL, and this penalizes a bit an otherwise very fascinating area: it must be said, however, that the B&B overlooks an internal courtyard, so tranquility and clean air are guaranteed. Overall, we definitely recommend it.

I must say that we often and gladly come to Naples and wherever we have stayed, we have always been treated wonderfully and they have always been welcoming and very kind. I chose this property because it accepted the holiday bonus, but the first surprise was a justified price increase precisely for the use of the bonus. In no particular order then: the staff does their job but is quite cold in general (met on the street the girl who welcomed us, the name escapes me, she didn't even greet us, just like when paying, everything very quick, no small talk and frills, straight to the point and goodbye and thank you). This job requires a lot of warmth and in case one is not predisposed, I would avoid it, especially because we are in a wonderful city and the memory is worth more than the whole setting. The property is beautiful and in a very respectable location, we didn't have breakfast even though it was available (affiliated with a bar right below the property, which didn't convince us much, but not having tried it we can't express judgments). As for the hot water in the shower, it takes a long time to arrive and it's a waste to lose all that water. Impeccable cleanliness.

We stayed in this B&B in Naples for 4 nights. \nI must say that we enjoyed it very much both for the place and for the location compared to the city center. Friendly and polite staff. \nThe room is nice even though we expected a little more like wardrobes or shelves to put things on. \nVery quiet environment, it's comfortable, we recommend it for visiting the city of Naples.

We can only say positive things about our experience at La Smorfia. The staff from the booking stages was extremely kind and helpful, welcomed us with warmth and attention. The location is great, in the heart of the historic center, close to the 'museo' metro station of both lines. Breakfast is served at an affiliated structure, just a step away from the B&B, with a staff that is also here, available, kind, and friendly, the breakfast is rich and delicious. Unlike other B&Bs we have stayed in, room cleaning is daily and the rooms are spacious and clean. I really have nothing negative to say about the property, I just hope to be able to return soon, I would certainly recommend it!

It is absolutely recommended. Strategic location in the city center in a historic building, very well taken care of in every detail. Excellent welcome as a true Neapolitan, extremely clean and welcoming rooms, abundant breakfast in a trendy bar just a few steps from the bed and breakfast. If we return to Naples, it will definitely be our reference point.

Excellent. This term sums up my stay experience in the property I chose based on what was represented on the website and not only did it keep its promises but went far beyond. Fantastic location for the historic center; fascinating location in an ancient palace, beautiful contrast with minimalist and functional furniture, exquisite hospitality and availability of both Francesco and Serena whom I still want to thank. Breakfast should be done at a bar outside the property. The quality of the breakfast is good but it's not very convenient to have to go out of the B&B to have it.

Great Bed and Breakfast in a historic building located in the historic center of Naples. Due to its location, it is definitely advisable for those who want to move around without having to rely too much on public transport. The rooms are large and spacious, with excellent furnishings. Very kind and helpful staff. If I happen to return to Naples La Smorfia will definitely be the Bed and Breakfast I will choose! Seeing is believing.
