Hotel Villaggio Tabù

I had an excellent stay at the Hotel Villaggio Tabù. It is set up like a village with a large communal space in the center surrounded by rooms that each feature their own porch. Each of the rooms was clean, had a private bathroom and air conditioning. The value for the price was incredible and this is certainly a place I could stay for a long period. Gian Franco, Raffaele, and Salvatore were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed hanging out by the bar at night and speaking with them. Breakfast was also excellent, they had fresh pastries, meats, fresh fruit, yogurt, a variety of juices, and every type of coffee.

Good property. The owners are friendly and attentive. The staff is good.

Overall everything was good, although the property could use some renovation.

Simple and, as their slogan says, no frills. Strategic location.

Staying at this property was a disappointment. Although the food was excellent and the shuttle service to the affiliated beach was very convenient, management shows serious shortcomings. The family atmosphere does not justify the complete lack of professionalism: staff served at the tables in sweaty undershirts after performing hard work, and the handling of towels was hygienically unacceptable (a dirty towel left on the floor was rehung next to the clean ones). The low point concerns the bungalow (room 16), which was damp and had a broken air conditioner. We found the mattress wrapped in a plastic bag, probably to hide the problem. Upon returning, we found the bed soaking wet due to a water leak from the air conditioner. Despite reporting the issue, the property only offered us a fan, which proved useless in the scorching heat, showing little customer care. Finally, at checkout, we were denied a small goodwill discount of just €7.50 despite the inconveniences suffered. Professionalism needs a complete review.

Well-maintained, clean property and very close to the sea. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Great place to enjoy the sea at Palinuro and Marina di Camerota.

Good Hotel Villaggio Tabù, clean and quiet. The only downside is Mrs. Teresa, who is never smiling, always ready to reprimand, perpetually in a bad mood. The waiters and cleaning staff, on the other hand, are smiling and helpful people.
