It was heavenly to be on the coast with a promenade to walk along after dinner. The accommodation includes a balcony with a stunning view of the town, hillside, and sea. Marco, our host, was always quick to respond to any question or need. What a peaceful and convenient place to be. We arrived by train in Salerno, took a ferry to Maiori with all our luggage, and walked from the dock to the room in minutes. The bus stop is close. Food and drink, including coffee and wine, were easy to access. We had gelato for dessert and a walk every night. Magical.

All was good for the most part. It was a bit loud on the main road but not too bad when the air conditioner was on. The air conditioner was weird. It would light up and blink brightly at night between cycles and wake us up. One suggestion is to have a mirror in the room so women can get ready and do hair and makeup while another guest uses the shower and toilet. The host offered to meet us but we were too busy. Nice gesture anyway. Thank you. One other comment is that we were asked to take out our own trash. That was an odd request as we had our hands full of luggage and backpacks and were leaving early to catch the ferry. I think that is what the cleaning staff should do, not the guests. The breakfast spot was closed one of the mornings we were there. We just went out to buy fruit and made coffee in the room but it would have been nice to have been informed. Nice room for what we needed. The location was good. Thank you.
