My stay at this charming apartment in Italy was absolutely wonderful. The hosts, Ugo and Luigi, were very kind and helpful, and we felt like family during our visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a perfect place for us and our family to relax. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options each morning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Italy with their family!

My boyfriend and I were visiting from NYC and absolutely loved our stay at Casa Mazzola! Ugo and Luigi were the best hosts, making sure that we were comfortable and knew how to get around via the bus system. True Italian hospitality at its finest. Would recommend this property to anyone and everyone!

My stay at Casa Mozzalo in Italy was delightful. The outdoor panoramic view was exceptionally beautiful. Mountains, Mediterranean sea, lush green forests and a well kept garden - It had it all! Every detail at the hotel, from the elegant décor, creative touches to the delicious local breakfast, was clearly designed with love and care. Luigi and Ugo went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, offering fantastic recommendations and helped us plan our holiday, making it extra special. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with charm, comfort, and a view that will stay with you forever, Casa Mozzalo is the place.

To be honest I wasn't sure about staying here because I normally book 4-5* hotels but on a whim I booked because of the stunning views and the reviews of the host. We were not disappointed! On arrival we were shown around the property (which has lots of quirky things to look at) then to our rooms and offered a drink which we then sat and enjoyed looking at the most stunning views. Ugo (and his father) could not have been more helpful, what they don't know isn't worth knowing we were given a bus timetable informed all about where to go and how best to get there. There is a tiny village at the top of the hill (2 min drive) with 3 very good restaurants and a place that sells amazing Gelato at very cheap prices, our first trip was 5€ then 4€ then 6€ then 5€ they seemed to make it up as they went but as the ones selling Gelato in Sorrento were charging 12€ and not so big we really found it very amusing!! Oh and that was for 2 portions! We had one of our most enjoyable holidays and would definitely return and highly recommend. Thanks Ugo for making us feel SO welcome.

The place is great. Uggo the owner and his father are very kind and helpful. They made the staying very lovely, also gave us good advice for the trip and where to park and where to eat.

It was a pleasure to spend 4 nights at Casa Mazzola. We had a wonderful view from the terrace, Ugo was a great host, the breakfast was very good, the room perfect and the overall location around Sorrento in a quiet area was ideal. All PERFECT thus! Thank you.

This place is a real gem. The host welcomed us with warmth, joy and relaxed Italian humor. Our room had amazingly beautiful views. It was nice to start the day with a rich and tasty breakfast. Serving and service exceeded expectations, very friendly and considerate. In addition, we received a lot of valuable tips and trip recommendations. The location of the place in Sorrento was perfect. From there, it was convenient to make day trips to nearby villages and the Amalfi coast to Positano and Ravello, also to Naples, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Capri. This trip was our family's dream, which we had been dreaming about for a long time. It was realized beyond expectations. Thank you so much for everything, Luigi, Ugo and staff!

We had an absolutely perfect stay and cannot wait to go back one day! Everything about this B&B exceeded our expectations. The rooms were incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. We felt at home immediately. The facilities were cozy, with a unique personal touch by the owner, who is a true artist, adding so much charm to the atmosphere. Breakfast was a daily highlight – fresh, delicious, and full of local specialties. The environment was peaceful and familiar, making it the perfect escape. Plus, the parking space was a rare find on the Amalfi Coast, and the location was fantastic, especially if you are traveling by car. Special mention to Luigi and Ugo, who truly made our stay unforgettable. Their hospitality was amazing, always ready to help with fantastic tips for the area, and they made us feel like part of their family. We cannot recommend this place enough – a hidden gem!

This was our first stay at Casa Mazzola. It was recommended by a friend. Having stayed there for 5 nights, we would very likely not return to Italy without returning to Casa Mazzola. Managed by a father (Luigi) and son (Ugo), this is the opposite of checking into a hotel. They greet you like old friends. And offer a fantastic selection for breakfast. The location and view is simply stunning. It is just not possible to overstate how fantastic their location and view is. If there is any downside, it is that you cannot really walk to town. If you have a car, Sorrento is just several minutes away. If you catch the local bus (right near their gate) it is maybe 6 or 8 minutes away. However, the benefit of being up the hill, out of town, is that it is so quiet and yet you can see the town below, along with the bay of Naples, Vesuvius, and Naples itself across the bay. Luigi and Ugo are both the nicest, warmest, most welcoming people. When we brought dinner home, or ordered delivery, to have on the balcony, they offered us wine glasses, utensils, etc from their kitchen area for our dinner. With that view, it was better than eating out at a restaurant. We had them arrange a private driving tour of the Amalfi coast one day, and a small group boat tour out to Capri. Ugo made all of the phone calls for us. Both tours were fantastic. They also gave us very good advice and info about Sorrento and the area which helped us decide where to spend our time there. Navigating the local buses to and from town turned out to be very easy and we used that several times. We loved our time at Casa Mazzola and wish we could have spent more time there. To Luigi and Ugo, we can only say Thank you very much! Goodbye (until we meet again).

My father, brother and I stayed for a long weekend and absolutely loved this place! The views are astounding, the welcome warm and the rooms clean and comfortable with lovely artistic flair. Thank you Ugo & Luigi.

Third visit, the hosts have been exceptional once again. Fantastic views so having a car is pretty essential as it is located in the hills.

Couldn’t imagine finding a more beautiful property with more gracious hosts. Peaceful and quiet yet very near all of the activity of Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Ugo and Luigi are wonderful hosts, so communicative and so helpful. Thanks to them we had convenient transfers from the train station, we were able to book short notice tours, and we received excellent recommendations for our trip. The view at the B&B is stunning and the property is incredibly charming. It is an excellent place for peaceful relaxation under the sun while enjoying a dip in the pool and spectacular views of the ocean on the coast of Sorrento. The breakfast is well-stocked with yoghurt, cereal, and a wide assortment of simple but delicious local bites like marinated vegetables and sweet breakfast pastries.\n\nRegarding location, Casa Mazzola is far away from Sorrento so using public transit requires planning. Fortunately Ugo can arrange tours to pick up in the morning directly from the B&B. With the encouragement of Ugo and Luigi, we opted to rent a scooter for a few days during our stay and Casa Mazzola was perfectly located for excursions to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, or Nerano. It was also very convenient to park the scooter overnight safely within the gates of the property. When we instead relied on public transit, it was challenging at times. Ugo and Luigi were so generous to offer us a shuttle before 11pm if we were in Sant'Agnello and we missed the last bus, but any later or departing from elsewhere, you’ll need a taxi or your own transportation. If you want to travel Amalfi by bus only, then I would recommend you plan carefully as starting from the B&B will require a few transfers.

An amazing hotel with a spectacular view. So serene and peaceful. The room was very spacious and comfortable for us, a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. Breakfast was wonderful. The best thing about Casa Mazzola was the warmth and kindness of Luigi and Ugo... they gave us a warm welcome and made us feel like we were at home, they helped us with very helpful tips on where to go and what to visit. Would definitely love to go back again one day.

Staying at Casa Mazzola was a real highlight of our 10-week holiday. We loved everything about this property - the location was fantastic for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast or Naples. The view from our room was spectacular! The room was big and clean with housekeeping coming in every day, something we did not expect. The pool and surrounding gardens were a delight to relax in. Breakfast was varied with lots of choices for everyone, including homemade Italian donuts, of course, amazing coffee, and fresh juices. Our hosts Ugo and Luigi went above and beyond what hosts would normally do for their guests. They picked us up from the train station when we arrived and took us back there when we left. They gave us a lift up to the local restaurant for pasta and pizza, and the restaurant returned us back to Casa Mazzola when we were finished. Nothing was ever a bother to them. We loved staying here, and they were incredible hosts who loved talking to their guests about things to do and see in and around the area. It was a delight to stay here in this beautiful part of Sant'Angelo. Thank you, Ugo and Luigi, for being amazing hosts and sharing your home with us xx

Very nice place to be.

I completely recommend staying at Casa Mazzola! My sister and I enjoyed 3 nights here and could not fault it. Our hosts Luigi and Ugo were so helpful and welcoming, providing information before and during our stay, lifts to the train station and delicious breakfast. It is in a very beautiful location, with fantastic views and so much creativity and art everywhere, there's always something to discover and smile at! It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Occasionally a little noise at night but it didn't stop us sleeping well. And the location is a bit out the way, but the local transport minibuses to Sant'Angelo are regular and cheap from just outside the B&B so that was no problem. I hope I can stay here again in the future - thank you Luigi and Ugo :-).

Thank you for this beautiful stay! We spent 10 days at Casa Mazzola and we had the best time. The location of the accommodation is perfect. Not far from the Amalfi Coast but calm and we loved Sorrento. Luigi had really good advice for us to discover this beautiful area (hikes which are off the tourist tracks, restaurants and good advice for parking which is everything on the Amalfi Coast). We came with a baby and had some special demands and he was so helpful and welcoming. The house has a soul and heart and is decorated with beautiful artwork that made us feel comfortable.

Ugo and Louigi were wonderfully attentive, caring hosts and the property was impeccably clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the whimsical art hidden around the property was worth the visit alone. Although it was a bit off the beaten path, bus service was easily available and Louigi was generously accommodating as well. We felt like we made new friends.

Very kind family who manages the B&B, breakfast very delicious (vegetables, eggs, cheese, ham, salami, fruits, different coffees, desserts), beautiful rooms, extraordinary view to the sea, near Sorrento and perfect starting point for trips to the Amalfi coast. \nWe will book the location again.

We had 11 wonderful days in Casa Mazzola. Great view, wonderful room (decorated by artist Luigi with many beautiful details) as well as the garden and the breakfast room. Luigi, Ugo and Daniela are very nice and helpful - they made our stay special. With Luigi's tips we reached all of our destinations without any problems and found wonderful places in nature. It's such a lovely place to stay!

If you want fantastic views, wonderful hosts and a fabulous stay in this beautiful area, we could not recommend Casa Mazzola highly enough. Luigi and Ugo and their family will go out of their way to help you make the best of your stay.

We appreciated the friendliness, the smile, always available, of the owners. Luigi and Ugo gave us good advice. The establishment is calm, clean, and very pleasant. The garden has charm, it is decorated in a way that allows us to discover a nice detail every day. Moreover, the view offers us a beautiful panorama that breathes serenity. And the small pool allows us to refresh ourselves and it is very appreciated. We will happily return.

Perfect is the only word that comes to mind, I recommend and can't wait to go back!

We felt very comfortable - the location with a great view is perfect - Luigi and Ugo are so friendly and helpful - the breakfast is lovingly prepared and really has something for everyone - great tips for gastronomy - EVERYTHING IS TOP!

The hosts were very warm, friendly, and helpful from the reception until departure and gave many good tips for parking in Sorrento and for restaurants. The room had a large terrace with a wonderful view of the Bay of Naples. The room itself was practically furnished with a gas stove, small refrigerator, and sink. Situated in a quiet location, you can reach Sorrento after a short drive. From there, you can explore the area well by boat or train. We felt very comfortable.

The structure is nice and in a panoramic position that requires the use of a car. The staff is very kind and helpful. The owner is a really pleasant person. The quality-price ratio is a little high. The stay was still enjoyable. I recommend it.

Very pleasant stay, welcomed in a family way by Luigi and Ugo. Courtesy and care of the guests and maximum availability. Spacious room and terrace with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Sorrento, a city that can be reached in 5 minutes. Really worth going back and recommending. Casa Mazzola.

Luigi and Ugo do everything to make you feel welcome, nothing is too much for them. They happily give you various tips to make your trip as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was excellent and what a view. Although not every room has a view of the bay, it is a beautiful and quiet place to stay. I was there by car, but I made frequent use of the vans (especially the white ones).
