THE MEMORABLE ADDRESS for a stay in Naples! Top welcome from Giuseppe and Marco in this striking location, a former convent, located between the catacombs of San Gaudisio and a busy bridge. The place, like the catacombs (those of San Gennario not far away as well), is managed by La Paranza, a collective set up about fifteen years ago, which now employs 50 people from the neighborhood. An integrative, social, economic, cultural, and educational project that opens up prospects for the residents of the Sanità. I will return! Thanks again to the whole team and well done!

Nous avons eu un séjour des plus agréable à Casa del Monacone. Dès notre arrivée Giuseppe nous a accueilli personnellement et nous a parlé des sites intéressants du quartier Sanità et de Naples avec cartes et documentation à l'appui. Les déjeuners sont généreux, il y a un peu de tout en quantité. La cuisine du B&B est mise à notre disposition avec ses équipements et facilités. Le personnel est très courtois et aidant. Notre chambre était de bonnes dimensions avec une belle petite salle de bain. Les bruits de la rue sont peu importants la nuit, par contre l'insonorisation entre les chambres pourrait être meilleure. Bref nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce gîte situé dans un quartier populaire, coloré et sécuritaire. De plus, ce gîte fait partie d'une coopérative à vocation sociale et éducative qui a pour mission d'améliorer la qualité de vie des enfants et des habitants du quartier. Warm atmosphere, one feels completely at ease. The staff of Casa del Monacone is very friendly and helpful. We have already been guests at Casa del Monacone twice this year and we will definitely return.

We give a score of 10 from all points of view: attention to detail, cleanliness, availability, professionalism, beauty of the context. But it is more than other Bed and Breakfasts: it is also being part of an extraordinary rebirth project in a neighborhood rich in history and treasures, artistic and human, to rediscover and enhance. There are publications that tell its story at the ticket offices of the Catacombs. Also excellent is the Locanda del Monacone nearby, managed by enthusiastic and professional guys.

Structure in the heart of the Sanità district where you can truly breathe the essence of Naples. The accommodation is managed by a social cooperative that is providing employment to young people from the district, so it is also commendable for this.

We spent 2 days in Naples passing through. We had a great time both in terms of welcome and accommodation. We also really liked the fact that this bed and breakfast was born from an initiative of the parish to provide job opportunities for young people in the Sanità neighborhood.

È la IV volta che mia moglie e io veniamo al Monacone, e vi torneremo. Questa volta abbiamo accompagnato qui nostri amici bavaresi con i loro bambini, che sono rimasti molto soddisfatti, direi entusiasti sia del B&B e che della collocazione e delle caratteristiche del quartiere. Per noi, quando andiamo a Napoli, è l'indispensabile punto di riferimento.

Ottimo da tutti i punti di vista. Pulizia, posizione, rapporto qualità prezzo. Ma più di tutto i grandi Marco e Giuseppe che ci hanno accolto come vecchi amici, ci hanno dato consigli e suggerimenti e sono stati attenti ad ogni nostra esigenza. Qui siamo proprio nella vera Napoli Consigliatissimo.

Bellissimo ex convento ristrutturato in modo originale e gradevole. Bravissimi i ragazzi della cooperativa la Pranza, sia per la gestione molto accogliente e attenta, sia per le proposte di visite, tra cui il MIglio Sacro che consigliamo di fare. Il quartiere è un po' rumoroso, quindi consiglio di portarsi i tappi per le orecchie per chi, come me, non è abituato al traffico della periferia di Napoli! Comunque, ve la consiglio vivamente.

Soggiorno piacevole immersi nella Napoli d Rione Sanità a due passi dai luoghi più successivi di Napoli. Da ripetere.

Struttura gestita da giovani ragazzi che da anni lavorano per la riqualificazione di questo magnifico quartiere. Camere e spazi comuni molto puliti, colazione abbondante, accoglienza con fiocchi di neve (Di una pasticceria locale) e caffè. A pochi metri ci sono tante pizzerie tra cui una molto famosa. Le 2 linee metro sono a dieci minuti a piedi mentre il centro lo si raggiunge in 12 max 15 minuti facendo una bella passeggiata.

La mia famiglia, insieme ad altre 2 di nostri amici, ha soggiornato in questo B&B nel periodo pasquale. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, camere semplici, ma funzionali e pulite, personale gentile ed accogliente, la posizione è vicina al centro, in 20 minuti a piedi si raggiungono le principali attrattive turistiche. Il B&B è gestito da una cooperativa di ragazzi veramente in gamba e d è collegato con la gestione delle catacombe di S. Gennaro e S. Gaudioso. Noi abbiamo visitato quelle di San Gaudioso che si trovano proprio accanto il bb, sono veramente belle e interessanti. Consigliatissime!

La casa del Monacone, 10 minuti a piedi dal centro storico di Napoli, un Bed and Breakfast unico, ha il cuore. L’accoglienza di Giuseppe e dei suoi amici è dono di un’esperienza di vita ricca e importante. Tante sono le Napoli da amare: il centro storico, i grandi e piccoli musei, i dintorni stupefacenti e poi “la Sanità”. Napoli profonda, tanta storia e tanta vita, tante, tante emozioni. Casa del Monacone merita la più grande attenzione. Un punto di partenza bellissimo per amare tutte le altre Napoli, anche seguendo i consigli di Giuseppe. Indimenticabile e unico l’amore offerto in forma di breakfast, indimenticabile la visita alle catacombe di San Gaudioso guidati da Lisa, la prossima volta quelle di San Gennaro ed il resto del “Miglio Sacro”. Indimenticabile il libro “Noi del rione Sanità” (Amazon), meglio leggerlo prima di arrivare alla Casa del Monacone. Grazie, venire da voi è stato molto più di una esperienza turistica e non sarà dimenticata. Con amicizia e ammirazione, Marco e Maria Antonia.

Bella struttura gestita dai ragazzi del Rione Sanita. Gentilissimi e premurosi per i clienti. Pronti ad elargire consigli sulla città. Siamo stati bene, sicuramente torneremo. Bel progetto per riqualificare la zona.
