"B&B Maria Marì" is elegant design with attention to detail, a building of the past brought into the present with unique touches guaranteeing top comfort.

Near our facility you can find examples of our heritage and various tourist attractions. Remember that just only 370 m away there is the 'Basilica di Santa Chiara'. Any football fans can catch their team playing at nearby stadium 'Stadio Arturo Collana Napoli'.

We cannot recommend this place enough. It is centrally located and is a real pleasure to stay in a Neapolitan house. The hosts, Maria and Enzo, are amazing and full of love, kindness, and Italian hospitality. They prepare a spectacular and homely breakfast for you, from eggs, to good Italian bread, to homemade jams, to croissants, sfogliatelles, homemade fruit tarts... and homemade cappuccinos using the moka pot. Having them as hosts was part of our Naples experience!

We very much enjoyed our stay with B&B Maria Marì. We were well looked after, and the breakfast is a treat with local produce and homemade options to try that would tempt anyone interested in authentic Italian food. It is more like a family home than a business, and the location is perfect for easy access to the city of Naples with the Metro close by. The owners were helpful in providing local information and advice on places to visit. We would definitely go again one day.

We could not have asked for a better location in Naples. Our host arranged for a driver to take us to and from the airport to their B&B. Our hosts Vincenso and Maria were wonderful, delightful and most helpful. Napoli is a wonderful and hectic city and their help was most welcome. A perfect location to explore the city by foot or metro. We had a lovely, large double room to accommodate the four of us. Breakfast was everything you could ask for - homemade jams and pastries. It was communal, so we could meet folks from around the world. When we return to Naples, we definitely would like to stay with our hosts again.

Maria and Vincenzo really made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their Maria Mari Bed & Breakfast. Right from the time of booking (via the portal) to the detailed instructions on how to get to the B&B from the station, it was evident that a lot of care and love has gone into this B&B. Vincenzo met us when we arrived, and gave us some excellent advice on where to go, how to travel and also some really helpful recommendations on where to eat. The two rooms we had booked were spacious, light and airy, and beautifully decorated. The air-conditioning worked well and the en-suite bathrooms were well equipped. Be aware that you need to climb two flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The B&B has an excellent location - walking distance from most attractions in Naples and right in the historic centre. Every morning we were greeted with a delightful breakfast - local fruit (medlars), yoghurt, an assortment of freshly baked bread and brioches, along with delicious marmalades and jams made by Maria, and also a fantastic marmalade torta, and sfogliatelle on the final day. Vincenzo was a very attentive and thoughtful host, and made us excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. On the final morning, Maria arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport. We felt very comfortable and at home right through our stay. Thank you so much Maria and Vincenzo.

We had a lovely time staying here. The location felt safe and was walking distance from most of the areas we wanted to visit. Maria and Vincenzo could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Naples.

Maria and Enzo are 2 lovely, caring, and delicate hosts. Enzo prepared delicious breakfasts for us every morning and recommended visits. Maria had cooked some good cakes and delicious jams! Lastly, the room was very clean, perfectly equipped, and the apartment is very well located (everything is nearby: restaurants, visits, shops, transportation) for a stay in Naples! Go there quickly: they are very friendly.

Wonderful stay! This B&B is very well located in the heart of Naples, between the Spanish Quarter and the historic city center. Vomero is also easily accessible. Even though the metro (also very close) is convenient to reach the train station, many things can be done on foot. The street is quiet, between two noisy streets, but very little noise is heard. The owner is very friendly, smiling, and not stingy with advice (thanks to his 'small' list of restaurants by street and tourist spots!). Valentina, whom we saw at breakfast, is also very kind and pleasant. Thank you. The breakfast is very good. Served at the table with the other travelers, we enjoyed the cake, croissants, brioches, and homemade jams! The coffee is of course excellent. And what about the freshly squeezed orange juice in front of us. The rooms are spacious and clean. In summary: nothing to complain about, go for this accommodation for your next visit to Naples!

Second stay at the bed and breakfast, extreme kindness of the owners who do everything to make your stay pleasant. At breakfast you will be served according to your sweet and savory tastes. We really like the neighborhood which is full of good places to taste Neapolitan specialties, we thank them immensely and never two without three we will return! The B&B Maria Marì is very welcoming. They are both extremely kind and helpful. Their great recommendations make you feel at home in Naples (almost). The delicious breakfasts allow you to start the day with a positive mood from the exchanges around the communal table. The location is perfect in the center of Naples, on a quiet street, close to everything within walking distance. My wife and I stayed 3 nights in this accommodation. For our needs, it was a very good choice. The location is central, so we were always walking and were able to see and experience a lot. This so-called Spanish quarter is very lively and mostly inhabited by not very well-off people. We felt comfortable there. Everything is abundantly available in close proximity. Cafés, bars, bakeries, pastry shops, etc. If someone wants to cook or grill, they should ask about it beforehand. We did not get the impression that the accommodation was suitable for this. There is tea and coffee and homemade jam. Kindly, we were allowed to leave the apartment much later on the last day. Our flight was in the evening and otherwise, we would have had a hard time with our luggage all day. For that, we are grateful. We hope to find a place again in the same accommodation for our next trip to Naples.

For those who want to immerse themselves in the life of Naples' historic center and don't necessarily care about a great view, this is the right place: The B&B is located in a small side street off Via Toledo, very central and yet relatively quiet by Neapolitan standards. Sightseeing, shopping, and dining, for example, in the Centro Antico, can easily be done on foot, and various public transport stops are also quickly accessible. My room with bathroom was not large, but friendly and functional, overall the B&B is well-kept and clean. The communal living kitchen is very nice, where a large round table brings guests together for breakfast and conversation! And above all: Maria and Vincenzo are charming hosts! They are not only interested in their guests, ask questions, give tips and stories, but also pamper them with homemade cakes and jams (very delicious!). I can only recommend it!

Charming hospitality. Maria and Enzo are nice, available, and warm without being intrusive. The only downside is the stairs, but that depends on the old building. Sometimes guests are too noisy late at night, but this also does not depend on the managers. I will return.

I can only recommend to anyone to stay at this B&B. The location is excellent, the apartment is delightful, very clean and equipped with all comforts including air conditioning. But the icing on the cake is Mrs. Maria and her husband who welcomed us warmly making us feel at home with their kindness and cheerfulness. The breakfast, already sublime thanks to the jams and preserves made at home by Maria, was always enriched with beautiful conversations seasoned with advice on what to visit. Everything was truly perfect!

Like staying with family. Very hospitable hosts. The structure is very central, between the seafront and the historic center. It is clean and welcoming. The breakfast is rich, composed of sfogliatelle, homemade jams and sweets, as well as juices, coffee and cappuccino! Everything excellent, everything clean. Highly recommended.

The B&B Maria Marì is a really beautiful structure, from many points of view! The owners, Mr. Enzo and Mrs. Maria, are two delightful people, they welcomed me as if I were part of the family, making me feel at home! How can I forget the pleasant chats at breakfast with them and the other guests, and the delicious cakes and jams of Mrs. Maria? They also gave me many tips to reach other sites of historical and cultural interest. The rooms and the bathroom are very clean and functional, the bed comfortable and the location is strategic: right in the center between the metro stops of Via Toledo and Piazza Dante, but far from the city noise, and a stone's throw from Spaccanapoli, the old town and the Spanish quarters. The National Archaeological Museum is easily reachable in 10-15 minutes on foot going up from Via Toledo, while going down from Via Toledo you always arrive in the same timeframe in Piazza Plebiscito and at the Royal Palace. And Naples is truly an extraordinary city, full of art, history and many surprises! Definitely recommendable. If I return to Naples we will meet again! See you soon!

Staying here on vacation was a bit like being with family, Mr. Vincenzo knows how to suggest the best solutions both regarding history and food, Mrs. Maria prepares delicious cakes for breakfast, all accompanied by exceptional friendliness. The room was spacious and clean, a stone's throw from all the interesting sights of Naples. I had the return bus in the evening, they gave me the opportunity to leave my luggage all day, and since no arrivals were expected during the day, I could use the room with an attached shower the evening before leaving (which is no small thing). I can't wait to come back and visit you.

I had a great time, the lovely and welcoming homeowners. A nice abundant breakfast with typical local food. Also, as soon as we arrived, they left us a map of Naples and two Word documents with all the places to visit and all the local restaurants written on them. It is located right in the historic center, and within 50 meters we are immediately in Via Toledo and within 100 meters the metro stop. I recommend it to you.

Structure on the second floor of an 1800s building, stairs need to be reviewed. The typical Neapolitan breakfast (should be served at least 30 minutes earlier) could be enhanced with savoury options, butter, fruit juices, some typical sweets, and also plain croissants. The homemade jams are good but unique (cedar, lemon, orange, and mandarin). Coffee made with the moka pot and cappuccino are excellent. The sleep quality is great, Mrs. Maria and Mr. Enzo are very kind and helpful, full of advice on visits, itineraries, and last but not least, restaurants.

One word: exceptional! For location, cleanliness, courtesy, and friendliness of the hosts, and for that extra something that few Bed and Breakfasts have (the Neapolitan soul!) which makes me say that if I were to return to this splendid city, I would contact Vincenzo and Maria again to stay in the Pignasecca district.

My partner and I stayed at this B&B at the beginning of August for 5 nights. Located on the second floor (no elevator) of a building in the Pignasecca district, it is just a short walk from Toledo metro station and therefore in a great location to explore the city. The room assigned to us was lovely, clean, with air conditioning and double glazing. The bathroom was equipped with products and a hairdryer. Free wi-fi service with excellent signal. Delicious breakfast, with bakery and/or homemade products, prepared by Mr. Enzo or the very kind Valentina. Guests have access to the lounge/kitchen (spacious and where breakfast is served). Possibility to leave luggage after check-out. One thing worth mentioning is the kindness of Mrs. Maria and Mr. Enzo. Delightful, friendly people who make you feel at home. Thanks also to Mrs. Valentina. What can I say, if we were to return to the beautiful Naples, we would definitely know where to stay!

We were looking for accommodation for the Easter weekend at reasonable prices and we chose this B&B Maria Marì based on the reviews we read on some specialized sites, and I can only confirm the goodness of the choice. The structure consists of a total of 4 rooms, of varying sizes, inside a palace in the historic center of the city (Pignasecca district), in a truly strategic position to visit Naples by walking or using public transport. The rooms are spacious enough, with all the necessary comforts (bathroom with shower and bidet, air conditioning with heat pump), and at guests' disposal a dining room with kitchen and refrigerator fully available to guests. The owners, Maria and Vincenzo, are truly exquisite people and will do everything to make your stay interesting, providing advice with a rare availability and hospitality. Breakfast is prepared on the spot by Vincenzo and Mrs. Valentina (who will also take care of tidying up your room with care and professionalism) with cakes prepared by Maria and with the freshest sweets and bread that Vincenzo will bring to the table every morning from his trusted pastry shops/bakeries. A guarantee! Choose this B&B with a light heart, it's worth it.

We stayed five days at the bed and breakfast run by Maria and her husband Enzo and we felt at home. The breakfast was spectacular with homemade pastries by Maria and more. Both Maria and Enzo gave us useful advice on the monuments and museums to visit and told us a bit of Neapolitan history. I just stayed 3 nights at this lovely Bed & Breakfast, booked last minute and convinced by the many positive reviews, which I confirm 100%. The structure is welcoming, clean, with quiet rooms (despite the proximity to Via Toledo) and located in the historic center, therefore in a very central and strategic position to visit all the major points of interest in Naples. But the difference is made by the two managers Enzo and Maria, two kind people, super helpful, always ready to provide advice on visiting the city and with whom it is truly a pleasure to converse during the excellent breakfast with sfogliatelle, jams, and typical sweets prepared by Maria. I absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back!

We have just returned from five days spent in Naples at the beautiful B&B Maria Marì owned by Maria and Enzo, two exceptional hosts who pampered us and our two and a half year old daughter making us feel at home. The property, in a central location, is welcoming, clean, and functional. Every morning Maria and Enzo delighted us with delicacies, stories, and tips to visit the city. We spent 3 days in Naples during the Christmas holidays and stayed at B&B Maria Marì, located in the center near via Toledo. Group of 9 people, we had the house at our disposal. We were warmly welcomed by Maria and Vincenzo, pampered by the hosts with fantastic breakfasts and ready to meet our every need. Vincenzo always ready to give advice and suggestions discreetly and familiarly. Maria, as a true Neapolitan, immediately introduced us to the Neapolitan spirit: sympathy, cordiality, and passion. I was very satisfied with my stay at the B&B Maria Marì for the courtesy and friendliness of the owners, the comfort of the room and the other areas of the property, the cleanliness and the presence of everything needed to feel at home. I also enjoyed an excellent breakfast thanks to the truly delicious jams made by Mrs. Maria. So, I immediately say that this solution is not for everyone, and fortunately, because here you can stay right in the beating heart of Naples in a true Neapolitan house, pampered by Enzo and Maria, who treat you like family and open a house that shines with cleanliness, with not huge rooms (but who cares) but, I repeat, very clean and soundproofed, complete with air conditioning. And like in a family, you have breakfast in the living room/kitchen with all the guests of the house, one morning with the delicious pastiera of the lovely Mrs. Maria, another with the sfogliatelle just bought by Mr. Enzo, a polite, cultured person like there are now few. Thank you for your hospitality, I will be back soon.

Very central location and quite convenient for transportation.\n\nOnly downside, for those who walk a lot like me but are not in top form, the stairs to climb to the second floor, narrow and steep, without an elevator. The managers are absolutely fantastic: very kind, caring, friendly, very helpful and generous with useful information for the stay (sightseeing, connections, etc). The breakfast is rich and varied, from sweet to savory and still perfect and also based on personal requests.\n\nWe will definitely come back and spread the word to relatives and friends!

We stayed at Maria and Enzo's for six days and gladly write these four words of praise. In addition to the observations already expressed by other guests (which we fully share), we would like to make some considerations that may be useful for those who read. The modest daily price should not raise suspicions: considering the accommodation offered, it is really reasonable. Even in the most secluded places of the house, the cleanliness of the environments is accurate and complete. Regarding the cordiality, sympathy, and availability of Maria and Enzo, we want to add that they reflect very much the best soul of the Neapolitans (even though Enzo is originally from Calabria but has been in Naples for decades). Finally, the numerous gastronomic specialties of Maria, all of their own production (pastiera, “casatiello pasquale”, migliaccio, etc.) that we have tasted are the best we could ask for from a stay that we will not forget. If you happen to be in Naples, it is "mandatory" to stay at the B&B Maria Marì, it is in a strategic, very central position and therefore you can reach all the most beautiful and interesting places in Naples on foot. The rooms are cozy and extremely clean. The common lounge is super equipped and the breakfast is truly great, sfogliatelle, fresh bread, fruit, and the delicious organic jams of Mrs. Maria really make a difference! We felt at home, Mr. Enzo and Mrs. Maria pamper and spoil their customers as if they were part of their family, courteous, sweet, funny, and helpful. You can't choose another B&B.

We stayed for 5 nights at B&B Maria Marì and we were a group of friends. We had a great time. Kindness and courtesy of Maria and Vincenzo whom we thank for all the information and their availability. We spent New Year's Eve in Naples and at the B&B we even prepared our own dinner. The B&B is very close to Spaccanapoli, via Toledo and the metro. Naples is a very beautiful city and we will definitely return to this B&B.

The bed and breakfast Maria Marì is in the pulsating heart of the historic center of Naples, in a side street of the lively Via Toledo and a stone's throw from two of the artistic metro stops, Toledo and Dante. From the B&B, with a pleasant walk, you can reach Piazza del Plebiscito and the Chiaia promenade on one side, while on the other you can reach in a few minutes the Church of Gesù Nuovo, the cloister of Santa Chiara, the Veiled Christ, the nativity scenes of San Gregorio Armeno and the Tribunals area. In short, the location is strategic. I would like to point out the pleasant welcome and the very rich breakfasts prepared by Mr. Enzo, a retired chemistry teacher and husband of Mrs. Maria. The structure is on the second floor without an elevator, it is equipped with Wi-Fi and a small balcony where you can smoke. We had no problems leaving our luggage waiting for the train departure time. The rooms are essential but clean, as are the bathrooms inside the rooms, which may need a bit more attention to details. Returning to Naples, I would choose this structure again, for its convenience and friendliness.

The B&B Maria Marì is located in a typical alley in the heart of Naples, an ideal starting point for visiting the city center on foot at all times of the day. The friendliness and attention of the owners to the guests' needs make the stay pleasant and make you feel at home. The environment is clean and the breakfasts are rich and varied, with cakes personally prepared by Mrs. Maria and typical Neapolitan sweets. Other important factors are the proximity to the metro and the shopping streets. We stayed as a couple and personally we had a great time. Highly recommended for those who want to taste the atmosphere of a beautiful city like Naples.

Apart from the location that allows you to move around very well, on foot you are immediately in the center, close to line 1, the thing that left me with an excellent memory and that will make me come back, was the kindness of the hosts, two truly hospitable and caring people, a real pleasure.

In a strategic position to visit the most interesting sites in Naples, the B&B Maria Marì is a cozy and comfortable structure, with impeccable cleanliness, spacious and bright rooms, and above all, despite being in the heart of Naples, very quiet, comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. As for the owners, the welcome fully confirms the best of Neapolitan courtesy and warmth, with that familiar touch that is always welcome, and the wonderful pastiera cake made by Mrs. Maria for breakfast. The property, located in a central and strategic position, is well-kept and clean. The managers, Maria and Vincenzo, are very friendly and welcoming, and they themselves prepare a great, abundant, and varied breakfast.
