Our B&B is placed a few metres from the seashore in an area known for its spa waters and facilities (Terme di Agnano) at Napoli art city, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, quiet, for enjoying a stunning panorama, in the heart of the city. "Al Maschio Angioino (Castel Nuovo)" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, a lovely, refined building, a building of the past brought into the present with unique touches guaranteeing top comfort.
Surroundings
Travellers staying with us will be able to stroll around the lights and colours of the shopping streets, enjoy the scenery and experience local cuisine on various food and wine tours, explore cultural events and exhibitions.
Close by our guests will find examples of our heritage and various tourist attractions, sports and fitness centres for working out on holiday. Getting around
Last but not least, remember that our strategic location makes us ideal for moving around the city on the metro (Metro Gialla - Università, Metro Gialla - Toledo...), handy and near to motorways Autostrada A56 Arenella, Autostrada A3 Via Ferraris.

A huge breakfast in the B&B’s sideroom (provided with a small refrigerator) with home-made jam, butter, bisquits and cakes. Depending of what’s available at the moment you may find an apple cake, a little babà, a pastiera or a yogurt. You will always find some of our sweet “dolci coppette”, of either flavor: custard, cream and amaretto, chocolate, hazelnut, coffee, cassata, or chestnut. If you want you could try a coffee enjoing the suggestive view to the Maschio Angioino from our place.

This is the second time I have stayed at Al Maschio Angiono. The rooms are beautiful and the host Patrizia is very helpful and friendly. Every effort is made to ensure a comfortable stay.

It was our first stop on our 45-day trip through Italy. After 24 hours of travel, beginning with the welcome from Patrizia, we felt at home. The room was spacious and furnished for much more than just sleeping. The property is grand. And the breakfast was quite enjoyable. Different delights were presented every day, and there was always more than enough to eat. We can't thank Patrizia enough for her generous hospitality. If we ever get back to Naples, we know where we will be staying.

Overall a great host at Al Maschio Angioino Patrizia. She is open in stating that she doesn't speak English but through the use of Google Translate, we were able to effectively communicate. A couple of confusion points but easy to get them figured out through messaging. The location is very solid and she had some great recommendations for where to eat.

Patrizia has been fantastic during the whole process and her flat is incredible. My partner and her sisters have been truly delighted by everything, from the accommodation to the amazing breakfast offered. If you want a different experience, try this fabulous place. Thanks for everything.

This is a great Bed and Breakfast located in an ideal part of the city, close to the Castle Nuova. It was a pleasant stroll to the waterfront but also close to the Centro Storico.\n\nPatrizia the owner was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful (she speaks Italian and French and uses Google Translate).\n\nThe breakfast was plentiful and delicious (including homemade cakes and jams).\n\nThere were maps, guides and leaflets provided to help with places to visit and eat. Patrizia looked up train times for us and was happy to make restaurant reservations.\n\nThe room was spacious with a beautiful bathroom just down the hall.

Large and comfortable room in a magnificent old apartment, very well located. Easy access from the airport with the Alibus. Close to the port where you can easily reach thanks to the underground passage of the Municipio metro station, with a moving walkway. Patrizia is a discreet but warm and very caring host. She made herself available to welcome us in late morning and provided us with all the necessary information to facilitate our visit to Naples. Savory breakfasts as we preferred. Fresh water, kettle, tea, and herbal teas available. Thank you Patrizia!

Patrizia is a very attentive hostess. The room and bathroom are perfect, impeccable hygiene. The location, near the port with a view of Castel Nuovo, is very pleasant for exploring Naples while being 'quiet'. At each breakfast, we had a delicious local specialty prepared 'homemade'. She was attentive to our requests and helped us a lot by making phone calls for us. She speaks French very well. A very pleasant stay for us. Grazie mille Patrizia Marie-Pierre and Patrick.

Beautiful property, helpful hostess. Excellent knowledge of Naples, so we received explanations about the various sites to visit that no guide could have given us. Thanks to the lady, our stay in Naples was wonderful, we will be back soon. Another thing: the breakfast was top-notch, she even made us pastiera.

I have just returned from a 3-day stay in Naples and I am fully satisfied with the place where I stayed, everything perfect, clean and comfortable room, delicious and very abundant breakfast, the manager of the structure pampered me and also instructed me for the city tour, due to the very central and strategic location I managed to visit as much as possible in the time I had available... I will return soon with pleasure.

Excellent location, both close to the city center and the metro, spacious and large room, beautiful bathroom, good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Very kind and attentive landlady, perhaps a bit too anxious for fear of the room getting ruined, but understandable given the quality.

Patrizia's B&B is in a wonderful 19th century mansion right in the city center around the corner of the port, the royal palace, and Teatro San Carlo. You couldn't find a better location. The view from some of the rooms in the apartment is stunning, facing Castello Nuovo. Your room is very spacious with carefully selected, historic furniture. It has shutters on the inside that disappear in the wall, very typical of Italian architecture of the period. The ceiling is about the highest I have ever seen in my life in a private apartment. Your bathroom is of the same period as the house, but very clean and functional. The apartment is very secure, with modern locks attached to the historic doors. Patrizia makes breakfast for you, and this is about the most comprehensive breakfast you will find in Italy (especially in the south), including bread and home-made jelly, cake, mozzarella, and a wonderful biscotta (they like making doughs with yeast in the South). Patrizia is also a great host, as she will give you a lot of information on Naples and the surroundings. When I needed an iron, she let me use her super-high tech steam iron. The place is easy to reach by the express bus that connects the airport with the port. It costs 4 Euros and ends 5min from the apartment. Downsides: It's in the center of Naples, which comes with some noise. Nothing unusual, and not too grave since the apartment is on the third floor, but if you live on the country side you might be irritated. The historic bathtube does not have a curtain to shower. The reason is that it would be an architectural sin to fix one there. You will understand when you see it. Just be prepared that you will have to sit down to take a shower.

I recommend this property for several reasons: for its central location in relation to the various visits and excursions that can be made, for the service offered by the comfortable and spacious accommodation, including a bedroom, bathroom, breakfast room, and last but not least, for the availability of the owner, always ready to give advice and suggestions, useful for making the most of the stay in Naples. It is worth noting that the owner, in a polite, kind, and precise manner, has always given us useful indications and has made us appreciate the wonders of her city, as well as the delicacies with which she has won us over every morning.
