The only significant downside is that you need to have a car, as exploring the area requires driving. For this reason, the price could be slightly lower.

Great new house, quiet clean village and nice owner. We were seven (4 adults, 2 children and a baby). Great location, short 10-minute walk to the very quiet private beach (without sun loungers and umbrellas) and to the nearest village, Pizzo, it's a 10-minute drive, to Tropea about 50 minutes. The airport is also only 15-20 minutes away. Super swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas - one large and one for children. Price-performance ratio was top!

We will definitely come back.

Nice villa located 1 km from the sea, reached via an abandoned pinewood path that leads to a free beach with no services: no bar, no restroom. The sea was dirty, with fluorescent green substances in the water. Respect for quiet: none. Chaos until 2 a.m. near the football pitch. Strongly not recommended.

We were looking for a holiday by the sea. We were undecided between Calabria in the already known places (for a few years we stayed in Filadelfia and from there we went down to the sea at Turrazzo) but searching for a place by the sea. Or Puglia. In the end, coming across this residential complex, the choice fell on Calabria. The beaches in this area are wide and with mixed stones and sand, more than a few little frequented spots. The sea is very beautiful, although it can be found dirty at alternating seasons due to insufficient depuration systems (it is a border area of two provinces: Catanzaro and Vibo Valentia...) and one of the two provinces, I understand, does not do its part. This residential complex was an excellent discovery. We were convinced that they were all villages... Which for many reasons, for a large family, is not a fully viable choice and instead we discovered that there are also houses on the SS 18... great houses, everything in the residential complex is well designed for even children who can move around independently. Enjoyable pool... in case of dirty or rough sea. The furniture in the houses is essential... That of the kitchen perhaps even too essential... But perhaps it is made to enjoy the rest also for the parents and to choose as much as possible to eat out. All rooms are air-conditioned, excellent comfort. In short, apart from having to take the car to do the shopping, it is an excellent place. Also well located next to the pine forest that, crossing it, leads you to the beach. For those who love the sea, it could almost be a place to settle... Excellent also the football field, an opportunity for children to socialize with peers and others from every nation... excellent management and attention from Giovanni.

I stayed at Portoada Park Villas from August 6th to 20th and I must say I had a great time. The house is spacious and well-finished, equipped with everything you need. The exterior is large and allows for outdoor dining and playing. Mr. Giovanni, who manages the apartments, has always been attentive and super helpful for any needs. The location of the property is fantastic: you access the sea, a beautiful and wide free beach, through a pine forest and for the lazier ones (or for a last swim before dinner) there is also a nice pool. I really recommend it.

A very comfortable and well-equipped location, well-managed and well-maintained. The bar, pizzeria, and restaurant service is superb, with a convenient location for several renowned tourist areas, all reachable in a short time. We really had a great time and spent a week of true vacation, just a stone's throw from a wonderful sea and a breathtaking sunset over the sea. Thank you for the welcome and the efficiency given for our requests that arrived promptly from Canada. A goodbye is appropriate, because Portoada Park Villas will be one of our favorite stops for a return to Italy and Calabria.

Clean and well-maintained property, Very convenient location for both the pool and the sea. The manager Mr. Giovanni is an exceptional person, helpful and very kind. Excellent quality/price. We will come back.

Large apartment on 2 levels equipped with everything you need, spacious well-furnished terrace, beautiful pool inside the structure and 5 minutes walk to the sea. All managed excellently by Mr. Giovanni who makes his guests feel at home and is always ready to solve anything. Excellent.

Wonderful place for families with children, top cleanliness, excellent hospitality.

You're great. Cleaning and maximum comfort. Lots of attention to detail. There's no need to bring anything from home. Everything is there. Excellent value for money. Great courtesy and availability. We will be back.

Top-level structure. Very very beautiful. Mr. Giovanni takes care of you from arrival to departure. He is always there for anything. We will return next year.

Beautiful property, large, new, and very comfortable houses. The sea is just a few meters away after a short and pleasant walk through the pine forest. Endless and uncrowded beach. Two pools, one for adults and one for children (the latter raised for the convenience of parents), playground, multi-purpose field with night lighting. What more could you ask for?
